you have your monitor which displays the frame it is given.

You have your computer which outputs a frame to be displayed.

For a hypothetical:

If your monitor displays 60 frames every second, that's 1 new frame every 0.016 second.

If your computer is outputting 60 frames per second, that means that the frame that is displayed is going to be from 0.016 seconds ago.

If your computer is putting out 120 frames per second, that means a new frame is being output every 0.0083 second.

If your monitor is still locked at 60 FPS max but being fed at 120 FPS, that means that the frame that is displayed on the monitor is going to be more recent because it's pulling frames from the 0.0083 frame timing rather than the 0.016 frame time.

You're still only seeing your 60 frames per second, but because your frame timing is going to be at 120 FPS, the frame will be closer to the exact image compared to what you'd be seeing if you were getting 60 displayed frames at 60 FPS.

Basically every frame you're seeing displayed on your monitor is going to be from the past, due to the latency between the frame being rendered and displayed. By increasing your displayed frames amount (monitor FPS), you'll be updated more often about what your computer is trying to show you. By increasing your computers outputted frames, the frame that's being displayed is going to be closer to what is actually happening.

This means that the Against The Clock challenge time limit(s) still need to be extended (as I mentioned already multiple times before now), in order for the Match Recap answer to actually have any effect.

I am apprehensive about answering the Trios Final Match Recap question until this is appropriately corrected. Thank you!

Edit: I have been stuck at 490 Quest Points since the end of the J Cup. Immediately after the Trios Final match ended, I was literally the first person to mention in the NarakaBladepoint official Twitch chat about how the Match Recap question needs to be posted. It was overlooked.

I then decided to highlight my message by using Twitch channel points, and directly tag @narakabladepoint on Twitch so that it would be seen in the chat. The message was ignored/overlooked again.

I posted 2-3 messages over the course of a 15-minute period before the Twitch stream even ended, specifically tagging @narakabladepoint, reminding that the Trios Final Match Recap question was still not posted.

This was all about an hour before the Against The Clock challenges expire, because that was the final window of time to successfully answer Match Recap questions, but this was impossible because of the locked Match Recap Trios Final question.

With only about 45 minutes left before the Against The Clock challenges expire, I was very detailed about illustrating the problem and how to correct it by tagging @glacial swan. The message was ignored/overlooked, and the Against The Clock challenge time expired.

This was well within the window of time when I reported the problem. Now the problem has compounded, and if it was corrected when I mentioned it, it wouldn't have grown to be a bigger problem that is still affecting the entire Naraka Community doing Against The Clock.

Im no expert so I tried to look into the US servers for you, and from what I've read its possible they don't have servers in your location yet and you may have to use a vpn. Doesn't matter if you have fast internet (and take note that results you posted, are only local results), if the servers are too far from your location, it will really affect on how you will connect to a game.

This is called bait-and-switch extortion and it's unethical, so I'm not going to subscribe to it. Accepting such actions normalizes unethical behavior and will only cause it to happen more frequently in the future. Naraka will not get a single penny from me ever again in the future unless Against The Clock challenges are able to be completed fairly.

I will never, ever, purchase another Battle Pass again, nor any other DLCs, microtransactions, or any other in-game content, unless the Against The Clock challenges are ETHICALLY reinstated appropriately.

It is the sheer principle of this matter that will cause 3+ years of my support to be ended forever.

I supported Naraka before it was F2P, and paid for the Ultimate Edition of the game. It is extremely disrespectful to the loyal members of the community to prevent them from claiming rewards that they worked multiple weeks to get, all because someone on the dev team failed to post the Match Recap Trios Final question in time before the challenges expired.

I already paid $50 for the Ultimate Edition of the game when it first launched on console (in addition to providing countless bug reports not just during beta console launch, but also over the past few years), and obviously many Battle Passes since then, as well as a number of items from the store.

It would serve Naraka well to not burn their bridges with their community if they want people to have a good experience.

Matching in low elo can be really long now, if your gold 1 then yeah it's around gold 1 - early plat that matching can take forever and the season literally ends tonight so not as many people playing at all and solo in general is alot lower pop, my suggestion would be try queuing into a quick match to see if you can actually get into a game or whether your matching purely is just broken or not

The NA server is in Chicago, most people in ca have at least 60 ping. I would suggest using a wired connection if you can and gear up might help too as era mentioned

highlights will change the colors of some hairstrands, entire hairstrands

but not all hairstyles can use it, only ones that support it

gradient lets you change the hair color of 3 individual zones on all the hairstrands (root, middle, tip)

and lets you adjust how big the zones are and how smooth the transition is
