There is.

1. You will see it from their behavior as bots act differently. You’ll eventually get used to it and be able to tell the difference
2. Lobbies until platinum are full of bots
3. Not sure if it’s still used but there is a naraka app that shows your match history and it only shows the real people/teams that were in the game

4. They sometimes have weird names

They are there to feed all players.

so all the players are in high ranks

never gonna fully die but if u wanna play wtih players, u need to be in high ranks

if u check steamcharts u will see a good portion of the playerbase

and the vast majority of that is in china server

there arent that many left in the other regions

the reason for ppl leaving is that the game lost its competitive aspect almost entirely

and they refuse to try to fix it

if ur a competitive player, u should know this

Its really underrated though idk what lead it to become underplayed

basically there are issues in the game and straight up bugs in the game engine that obliterate any competitive integrity the game could have

and the low quality of servers ensure inconsistent gameplay due to ping interactions almost every single fight

this drives competitive players with self respect away to other games that respect your skill

The one who keeps the combo going always wins.

game can still be played, can still be enjoyed, but it's a shadow of what it once was and what it could've been and i don't think it'll ever reach even a fraction of that again

im just glad i got to experience the best time of this game before it all went to sht

but it's pretty much gone now

playerbase is almost 2x smaller than before it went free to play

when it was PAID

and about 4x lower than it used to be at its peak, but remember this is still mostly china numbers

for global servers it's really small

this is why it's hard to find matches and whyu theres so many bots, combined with the fact there are so many game modes

there's just not enough players to fill the matches

the best way to make this game work at this point sij to come together as a community and host customs

to fill out lobbies
