Had a vision for a temulch moveset in a platform fighter (specifically thinking for this new one called A Few Quick Matches which comes out soon and will have custom chars, but it would also probably work in other ones like Rivals)
Based on a mix of how he's played, what he canonically uses, and what would be interesting
Stance swap char, swaps between heng and greatsword. Specials stay the same:
Neutral B: orb spawn. Gives himself a wind orb, he can throw by pressing neutral b again. Throw can be angled via directions during startup
Side B: grapple. Works like you'd expect. can be canceled into from other attacks but has a limited stock. By default homes on opponent but can be angled freely by holding button
Up B: recovery move, he just does his naraka f but without it giving you the orb
Down B: weapon swap, swaps between heng and greatsword. You can cancel into it from other moves
Ult: A+B or something while having full rage, rage is built by getting hit or attacking. Works like his naraka ult but the walls don't trap enemies anymore.
Notable normal moves for both weapons:
GS:
jab: pommel strike
ftilt: naraka H (think mew2 ftilt)
dtilt: naraka c.H (good launch for combo starter)
uptilt: naraka V
dash attack: naraka c.V

Can someone help me. I'm a new player and I'm losing my mind close to dropping the game. Even against bots it feels unplayable. They just spam attacks and stunlock you for 50 years. Dash away and they just hit you anyways. Try to blue focus attack and it's too slow and they hit you. If you actually succeed in beginning to charge the blue then they will automatically know if you will release it or not for a perfect parry 100% of the time. It just feels like you actually can't win against them. I don't even want to know what a real match is like if this is the experience against bots.

oh that can explain. greatswords and poles words have a special case where they auto block normal attacks from hitting. if you dodge, you have a black dodge effect that leads to a blue automatically unless canceled by a jump or crouch of a sorts.
