Okay guys I have been in queue for different kinds of Showdown stages for 10 mins each and found no random players. I need to get to the bottom of this. Is Showdown coop player base dead or not?

I am calculating the chances of finding a random game in Showdown:

  • Naraka currently has 120,000 active players at this hour
  • Naraka has 4 servers.
  • People mostly play Survival rather than Showdown. Assuming it's a 70-30 ratio.
  • In showdown people either click solo or trio. so that is ''2'' game choices. Let's add that to the calculation.
  • People either click Nirriti's Ruin or Morus Isle. That is also another ''2'' in the calculation.
  • There are 4 modes tabs in Morus Isle, which is a ''4'' in the calculation.
  • People will most likely coop on hard mode.
  • Within Normal and Hard mode, there are 32 stages to click.
  • Finally, we have to assume people will coop on hardest modes (Enigma, Nightscream, and Hard) vs Normal. Let's assume this is also a 70-30 ratio (Normal being 30 and 70 is the combined ratio of the 3.

[120,000 / 4 x (2 + 2 + 4)] x 0.3

1125 / 52 stages = about 22 people ''each stage''

Finally, we calculate the ratio for normal mode coop which I am trying to do.

22 people x 0.3 = about 7 people on the stage I want to play. When I click on the stage, the chances of them not being in a match already queued up together is 50 - 50.

Great question! 🌞 Space doesn’t light up like Earth because light needs something to reflect off of to be visible. Space is mostly a vacuum with no particles or surfaces to scatter the sunlight. On Earth, the atmosphere scatters sunlight, which is why we see the sky as bright and blue. In space, no atmosphere = no scatter = just darkness with direct beams of light. Pretty wild, right? 🌌✨
