I did, it is living in my basement next to the resin printer and activates whenever VOCs get too high. Works well. Stacking a bunch of filters really improves airflow/reduces fan freewheeling. Let me get a photo.

that is awesome! do you have multiple HEPA filters, or just one in the bottom?

All of the filters have the HEPA element, they are stacked like a tube and have one overall internal cavity.

or maybe larger AC volume?

If the prints have warps or you use a textured plate, there may be air leakage between segments. An o-ring can easily be modified to fit in there, but I just squirt a quick thin circle of hot glue and jam the pieces together with a ziplock bag between one of them, this makes a thin and flexible seal once it cools and you remove the bag.

@sly cliff should i get a specific grain size for the activated carbon?

aight, i found a bag in that range

you'll have some smaller pieces in the bag (probably from shipping?), but most of it will be the right size

ok

I am building Nebula

#

so this means SUAFT 120 for Nebula has to happen

Here it is! how is this working?

I should / could integrate a SUAFT into my raise3d printer because the builtin ventilation is... "minimal viable product"

#

Should be doable right?

how long do you guys think nevermore pallets would last on idle

#

i've barely printed 40 hours since i filled my suaft but other than that its just been sitting with no real airflow going through it

Like, at least a year, if not more

well it might be soaking up dutch quality air and cigarette smoke, but only passively, the fan wasn't working

If the fan is not forcing air through, it's not soaking anything up
