I wonder if I reattached the brackets badly

#

Testing again, but I think if I install the printed brackets incorrectly, they make the frame worse.

#

I used the metal brackets to square it, then attached the printed this time

#

Fascinating. This is with both the new printed brackets and metal

#

one last test, now that I've taken off the printed brackets and am back to where I started.

#

sigh.

#

Something is now rattling that was not before.

#

OH

#

got it

#

loose tee nuts

#

Much improved

#

Lesson today is that anything not secured will F up your results

#

And don't use printed struts unless you have to.

#

I really don't want to do Big Bird today, lol

#

On to something else

Sick today. No progress.

#

Well, false. All of the yellow parts for big bird are done, i.e. the parts that take 4mm shafts and F624 bearings.

Still sick. This stomach bug is annoying AF.

Huh. Grover heats up from ambient to 36C in five minutes. Kinda cool.

The issue of having an uncovered metal frame for Big Bird's enclosure is kind of a put off. It's fine with the other printers where they radiate into the enclosure. I'm not convinced I'm on the right track with Big Bird (and haven't been for awhile).

Ya. I'm strong at math. But a little lazy at spelling. So take the easy way for that. ๐Ÿ˜” Sorry, I'll try better in the future
