the early violet mod works, but unfortunately not with the Kasumi as protagonist/R&V mods. I was checking some older mods (like this early violet one, and also gay joker) and they work. My dream is that one day all these mods will run well together, without conflict

and it should work fine with kasumi over protag. tbl merging allows that

to add her to an event you'd need to push everything back, which isn't as easy as you think. evt files are frame by frame and you have to go change the frame the animation/dialogue plays in manually

Sumire and Ren's Showtime, titled Dances with Thieves, can be obtained during or after January 20, on the first return to the hideout after maxing her Confidant. It is the only Showtime that requires a Confidant to be maxed out to unlock.

I agree the 3rd sem feels short, but at the same time, I dislike how aimless the game becomes when confidants/social stats/3rd awakening are done. You're left with 10 days with nothing meaningful to do

First Maruki's Palace thoughts:
||Wow. I was told this would be edit city and they were not wrong. It was. With the ruler connected to you more than Shido ever was in connection with your past and is the main reason why Kasumi is alive to begin with. Because he knew you would die. And your thank you is destroying his reality and his happy ending. It makes the Palace all the more sad and tragic than it already was. Joker was more affectively negatively but responded well when given the chance to stick to the False Reality. But Kasumi? Complete opposite. Although i was expecting for the mod to give me Joker after the palace was finished and pull a Cyberpunk on me lol. But i guess there was a happy ending after all. We had our last dance. The game was set and done with a shot from the deagle and he was done. (seriously where did she get that?!) And this made the perfect finale even better.

Now my thoughts on the mod.

Where can i begin? For a fanfic of the mod this was written with fire from the second this was being written. It really made this story feel more hardhitting and personal for Kasumi for palaces while being the joyful girl and at points generally funny as hell at certain events that made me love this mod even more than it already was. Kasumi's outfits in overworld was better but shoes in bed Kasumi? Seriously? No one sleeps with their shoes on. Sumire's confidant was really good but darn i was still expecting at Rank 9 she would do the desk slam but no romance still. But all good. This mod was all perfection in the end. Not to mention the added scenes cherry on top for me.

As for cons..

wow it's empty. That's how much i really liked it.

This really is a 10/10 mod. A must for a player that would like to change up the story and people willing to do a complete fresh playthrough in a different POV.

As for me i used this mod to finish up the rest of the badges. Defeating Lavenza and getting every Persona.
And i completely finished P5R 100%. Thank you so much for making this mod so i can come back and leave satisfied.
And i generally believe this. Kasumi really does fit more than the beloved Joker. And that's a hot take in of it itself.

so imo people place the blame on morgana for forcing the player to do certain things ("go to bed") when its probably needed from a game design standpoint. what i mean is that you shouldnt be given access to so many timeslots like that, especially when it doesn't make sense (ie post investigation into palace for the first time)
i think people complain bc its morgana and only morgana but the other persona games do this too. you see it in reload a lot where therell be an event then skip to next day. people attribute game design to a character unjustly

Generally in English contractions are considered informal (For example saying "We have" instead of "We've" would be more formal.)

That said I don't think that's a particularly... relevant rule in modern usage. I'm pretty sure I have had the occasional contraction in my papers for college and none of my professors have cared. Which that'd be the default place formal writing is used in to give a point of comparison.

Having spent some time thinking about (and attempting to as a learning exercise) adapting fanfictions to the game I realized that the most well done fanfictions (in my opinion anyway) don't just have interesting ideas and takes on the story but are also able to translate it from video game into a written format.
There's a lot a block of text can do that isn't exactly... good to have in a video game even if you can somehow copy that block of text.

In other words translating from the written format of a fanfic back to a well designed part of a video game is both a challenge and a skill in of itself and I think it is impressive that you are doing so just as I do for fanfic writers for doing the reverse.

And to give some unsolicited advice for future updates if you continue: do keep in mind the kinds of things you can do in a video game that writers can't. For instance, game mechanics can also tell a story... as hard as those are to manipulate in P5R.

...Also out of habit I shall mention there's a typo in your update... the update text that is. It should be "...I have read a few Rose & Violet stories" not "story".

I consider this as another form of feedback. I'm making those edits if they are worthwhile additions or if they help clarify the story. I'm not going to rewrite the mod's story with them (the amount of event editing would be fatal) and I don't know if I'll keep doing this (in regards to fan fictions).

and to explain what it does, you have multiple mods there that use a file called bustupparam. it controls the bustups' animations and registers them to be used. sadly it's one file so any bustup mods would be incompatible without merging

If you use the no adult romance mod, it will prevent you from romancing her

Also, if you haven't picked the answers in previous confidant events that flag your interest in romancing her, you won't be able to romance her. This is true for all adult romances.
However, I have edited those answers in R&V (but not the flag), so it may not be clear which answer will give you the flag

Yeah, for instance, Chihaya asks Joker in her rank 7 or 8 (I can't remember which) if he's interested in older women, and Joker has to say "yes" for the flag to be enabled

The flag is still here in Rose & Violet, but Chihaya is no longer asking if Rose is interested in older women

It should still be an answer that awards a lot of confidant points, so people might still pick it regardless

Kasumi's small enough that perhaps she'd be able to sit up front with the other girls as well.
...At least some fanfics I've read did that with FemCs just being up front with the other girls while in the Monamobile.
