Not the exact same... but I think I'm basically doing something similar. 6 structures that contain randomized mages you collect the drops from to summon different bosses within those structures. Each boss provides a drop used for 2-3 glyphs and a new armor set.
Feel like the only thing we can do now for advanced attack glyph is basically going the iron way
Spawn an entity or smth for the show and deal a bit more damage than the lower tier alternatives
I kinda just like giving them weirder conditions. Harm: Plain damage -> Coldsnap: Requires an effect -> Iceburst: requires an iceblock
Not saying I always actually follow a 'balanced' design philosophy but just making a purely better version of something is kinda lame (says the AoE 3 enjoyer)
There’s not really a whole lot that isn’t covered by the existing glyphs at this point - especially once you include the addons.
Summon glyphs for more powerful creatures are about the only thing that comes to mind, aside from simply “Existing Glyph+1” style stuff
