You also need to take into consideration the number of boot camps and their levels. Someone with 8 boot camps can’t train as many as someone with 10. And if they aren’t all at hq level, the number is reduced further.

No. It will not use up one of your total quests or your 5 personal ones to delete a personal quest; same as how removing regular quests does not use up your total quests. You will just need to wait 30 minutes for a new one.

For alliances that are trying to complete all tiers of rewards, is there a minimum point value quest that you delete?
I have someone that recently flew in that's always asking for us to delete quests below 100 points.
My alliance has never taken it too seriously (except for the folks that do) so I like keeping the 60-80 point quests to at least encourage people to do them. It's better that they do an easy quest like that than to not do any quests because they're "too hard"

It's been tough to encourage participation, even with the game's minimum requirements.

A lot of our members do higher point quests. But then there's a decent number of people that don't do any quests or only get a few hundred points or only do a few quests.

100 points and more ensures those that participate will get the rewards.
Personally I delete anything under 100 points, all heal quests (why waste the rss), get get/chips/mods/cubes 200 k or more, mystery quests, building might up 120 k+. We keep these last ones by request only since they are difficult to achieve unless you pay.
Tell the that they don’t do the quest, the don’t get the rewards. Then, when the complain after, tell them they should have done better. Tuff love is sometimes the only way.

Watch out for some of the trap 100pt quests. One is gear/modules/chips. It’s for 117(ish) pts and use 40 boxes. The 120 pt ones for 20 boxes are better.

What makes it worse is your actions in it effects everyone else in the alliance, so you can't really opt out. Unless I’m building or researching I don’t spend a dime or rss to complete showdown since I avoid quests the require me to spend pneu like the plague!

Most of the quests I do on my (mostly) f2p account line up with the events of that day. Ace, off-ace and break loose. I rarely do transport quests. I usually end up around the 1500-1800 point mark, and that's at or above the minimums most older, larger alliances require.

I do the food and wood ones all the time on my farm. It's easy to complete if you can log on regularly, have invested in boosting your gathering speed, have 5 marches, and utilize your Swift Gather for level 6/7 tiles. If you can log on once every 3 hours at a minimum, you can easily clear a 172 point gathering quest in less than 24 hours with just level 5 tiles. If you can log on more frequently or consistently do 6/7 tiles, you can clear a 172 pointer in 12-18 hours.

After talking with some of our members, I think it's more due to having a smaller alliance. But, I use pretty much all of what I have to complete quests. Speed ups, rss, hero card/coins, ect. Unless, I'm going about it wrong, which is possible.

Most of the resources used to complete showdown quests should also be used to complete regular quests at the same time.
For example, on troop might day, you're using your training speedups to complete that quest and you should be taking a troop might showdown quest.

Hero frags on hero day/break loose, etc.

Well definitely not, but this game is all about prioritizing. I agree that some of these quests are very rss heavy, but if you don't use it at this event, youre using for another event, but the stuff you use aren't lost.

There are some quests that are just inefficient to begin with. Like I think there's several levels of gcmc material where the get 400k quest gives less points than the get 200k quest.

Same with gathering.

In the pins are some spreadsheets with all the quests. It's good to review them and also post them in your state or alliance discord.

An r4/r5 should always be deleting the junk quests and keeping the board fresh.
Our quest board had maybe 4 or 5 good quests at a time and everything else was on cooldown because we kept on top of it.

Duoing transport quests are great but those are the only real loss quests since you're losing taxes.

Wish they would shorten the refresh time, really difficult when in a big alliance and people are coming on during dinner break to try and get one. We delete every 30 mins and this time seem to get more mystery ones than ever before which we then have to delete again

Depending on how many points you got you will get stages open to claim the rewards @tame tartan so when you make less then 1000 points you can be still able to claim rewards, just not all

If your star and your alliance cleared all phases, but someone did enough to only clear ten phases, they will only be able to collect up to phase ten.
Sucks to be them, but they should have put in the work.

Day 6 and Day 7 gets fancy there are tonssssssss of diamond quests.

Hi I need some hints for alliance showdown. Heal units in infirmary what is the best way to complete the quest?

place T1 troops on a resource tile and ask in state chat for someone to attack the tile. DON'T send them out as a camp, make sure they are on a tile, otherwise they will die.

T1s are preferred because they are easy and quick to train and to heal. If you attempt this quest with a higher tier, you will spend MANY more resources and speedups to heal your troops.

Nope, it was a 240 personal quest; for 20 days speed up which has a 4 day duration on it. I took the quest yesterday.

Several people in my alliance have reported the same thing, and it happens at least once every showdown. I submitted a ticket on it and they came back and said the system showed the quest was accepted, then 2 hours later was canceled. Obviously nothing will be done, but wanted to see if others have had this happen as well.

As @warped plover pointed out, alliances have some lazy (not all, some) people. They will start to depend on those few who go all out every time to get and maintain star status for the better rewards and content themselves with the few levels they are able to claim of those better rewards.

If you’re short hq you can ask the state for some farms to join so you’ll have the requisite number.

How is the number of quests you can accept determined? I have 8 initially and can buy 3 more. Another player in our alliance who is at the same level fort and troops as me only has 5 and no option to buy more. Any help on why this is? He would like to get more quests. Thanks in advance!

One of you is reading things wrong (probably not you). Everyone in the alliance would have the same amount of quests available.
My guess is they are confusing personal quests with total quests.

The circled number is what I am looking at. I will clarify with him but I think that’s what he is looking at too. I had 8 and bought two more. I’ve completed 2. He says he had 5 with no option to buy more… but we are vet league so…🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m asking him to send me some screenshots of what he is looking at.

Also a little reminder the event monsters don't count as zombie lairs so might not be a smart move to take lair quests if you wanna do the event

Level 7 zombie lairs are the standard during events like these. Most folks will use them to complete their daily lair quest or others that are doing the showdown quest too.

Actually with showdown lair quests I only grab them when when have a full bar of stamina. I'll grab the 184 knock 4 our wait a couple hours and finish it. I never do 7s for showdown

Damn, resetting my personal quests every 30-60 minutes for 19 of the last 24 hours didn't find me a single speedup quest. Miserable. Literally worse than trying to get a hero frag quest on hero day.

I had one speedup quest I accepted yesterday so I at least got to do some training today. But wow do I hate ace showdown.

It never works out on the right day. I just grab what I need and clear all my quests as quick as possible.

I managed to get two personal hero quests done on day 3 because break loose lined up and I had enough choice cards.
Day 4 is alright but I hate spending 480 hours on any day that's not fast comeback+new development.
And day 5 is bad too because no personal quests for it.
Day 6 is alright because I'm usually stocked up on recruit coins.
Day 7 is meh too.

I usually just end up doing whatever overlaps with break loose or like, 15 pack quests lol.

And I feel like I ask this every time, trial of survival promotions count for buy 15 packs or nah?

Even if we don't make it, it's a huge step up from last time. I think they barely broke 100k. I came over from 581 after the last showdown.
I can definitely tell that some of their attitudes and opinions have changed for the better since I started helping. I got a lot of folks saying that it's very difficult to make to 1500, most quests are hard unless you $$ or really hoard. Some of them made 1500+ 14/14 on the first day after I put out the info 😂

I've also offered a bunch of resources as incentives. Making 1500 gets you like 8m load worth of stuff, and top players get a bunch of steel and gas that I looted from VC 😛
