Don't quote me on this but I would think so because you're still attached to your Alliance even though you're in another state. You still can chat with them, help them and are still in their ranks. I would think that the system still recognizes you as a part of the alliance and should give you the resources back.

Those players easily hit 100s of HQs in VC. I doubt you would try to remember every single one you hit, and even then you wouldn’t know who maybe healed some troops to go hunt themselves and then return or what not. Hitting everything without a shield is a pretty valid tactic given you don’t have to fear retaliation attacks

Happens with most things that take you away from state. If you look at daily donations for example people out of state for VC aren’t there. If you join nuka they disappear. If you join res wars they disappear.

Would follow that logic that alliance infirmary wouldn’t apply because they are not really there.

I think it happens more often when out of state, but it does happen in state as well.
Two or three VC ago we were attacked by a home state player. He claimed he thought he was in another state. Rss was paid back the next day by his alliance, but still…
So yes, something similar to what we have for WK where you can’t hit an opposing state on the green, just make this one so you can’t hit anyone from your own state ANYWHERE for that 24 hour period.

When I go to a new state for VC the names colors are wrong at the start. Foreign state sanctuaries are white letters, same state are red. After I tap home and then world the colors swap to correctly show other state names in red.

Hmmm, it was true for us. We were matched up to two States for months and then they took a State and have been matched differently ever since. But we still kept getting matched to the other 2 or 3. Then, we took a State, amd we have not been matched to those same States in about 2 months now. In addition, I was a part of a State in which they were super against taking a State but they kept getting matched to newer weaker States in which they were super overpowered. So, they finally caved and decided to take a State because they heard the matches change when you do. Well, they did and they are matched with different States now. So, something is up!

This is only happening because of the Wasteland hiccup from this past Saturday. Matching will go back to the way it was prior for the next WK, so just be patient and have what little fun you can. Be strategic. When 222 was just a baby State, we were matched to S13. It was so much fun and despite them being crazy overpowered compared to us, we were able to get a ton of VC points and made lasting connections with the S13 folk.

It will be like res wars point system. More you win higher your points. Loose you go down. A lot of factors change states like immigration and big players missing weeks. Everyone is starting in state launch order. Strong new states will move up if they take a hub. Weak old states will move down.

The compensation that we (345) received today is a bit disheartening. People have lots millions upon millions of RSS and troops. We were attacked without any kind of warning and we couldn’t even go to other states until this afternoon. By the time people figured out what was going on, the damage was done. I get that accidents happen, that there are bugs in the game, but I’m telling you right now, I know several who have quit. They’re done. They know how to shield when they know what’s going on. It’s just sad that not much was given to those who lost most everything. It’s expensive to heal and it wasn’t anyone’s fault.

You can’t attack someone with a shield. The only way an attack can even keep marching on a shielded target is if they already launched before the shield was put up. However there still exists a bug in this game where shields seem to go away. I’ve never seen it myself but if you browse #🦗bug-hunt it’s in there every so often

I have seen it happen to someone else a couple of months ago. An alliance member put up a 24 hour shield and less than an hour later it popped and he was raided. NOT a happy camper, but since he didn’t ss it, nothing could be done.
Why does it seem like we have to ss absolutely every move we make in this stupid, but addictive game?
Game freezes! Video it for however long it lasts so CS can tell us it’s our connection, not their too many servers.
Shield popped early? Ss when you put it up, then when you go back and it’s gone, plus a ss of what was lost, only to be told it was an error on our end, not theirs.
You accidentally tile hit somebody because the tile showed empty and nobody flashed red! Ss the tile panel showing that it was empty when you set out, only to be told that you’re blind, and that isn’t our fault!
Gem games showing double gemmed tiles? Video it, NOT screenshot, so they can tell you it’s not their fault, but yours, and it didn’t happen anyway!

I'll be honest one of the reasons is because literally 95% of that is all user error. They are usually just ignorant to them actually being at fault. Again of course there are bugs but they are actually much more rare than it would be let on. It's just much easier to yell and point fingers than to admit you probably just fucked up.

I can’t speak to the bubbles popping but everything else he mentioned has happened to me. I don’t know how the gems doubling up and matches not going through would be user error when you just simply open the game and it happens, or how the lag is user error. I’ve lagged so bad it wouldn’t recover and I had to force quit the game.

9 months in and I have never been forced to close the game because of lag. It pisses me off and lags quote often but I know that is universal lag at least in my state because if I'm talking to someone on voice chat it happens for them at the same time. But there is definitely the possibility of client side lag as well. I have never seen this double gem thing myself but obviously that is a real bug as something like is impossible to do by 'accident'

She already had one so it asked to confirm to override the old one yes or no and she didn't noticed and turned the tablet off. Now if I didn't say anything and she got hit when she logged back on she would be on this discord ranting about their fault.

I am more apt to believe the shields are user error. In my 8 months of playing, I have never had a shield just disappear before it was supposed to, unless there was an update and the devs replaced it with a shorter one.

What is the best venue to request a rule change? I have used CS, but am getting a bit too use to the standard reply. There is still an issue with porting into an opposing state and some enemy bases being red and some being yellow. Your state bases are yellow. This has lead to same state opponents attacking each other and troops being lost, not sent to state infirmary. Different states have similar alliance tags and it is easy to kill troops by mistake. We have approached CS about this at least three times with multiple players. How hard would it be to have in state attacks go to the state infirmary as well? Would mostly negate the need to fix the bug as it would be an inconvenience to be hit rather than having months of work lost.

It’s a function of the event, though. Attack outsiders, not your own state. Otherwise it would make others feel like they have free license to just attack their own state.

@vale hound if you don’t like valiant, then you need to be prepared. Use a 24 hour shield and stay under it. It’s in the upcoming events tab. It is every single week after Wasteland. It starts at 10 AM UTC and lasts 24 hours. You can gather in other states but stay shielded. And if your alliance leaders aren’t reminding you, then maybe find an alliance that will or ask them to remind. Or send reminders yourself. But you have to be proactive. There’s no fault in the game. Valiant is one of the most popular events. I don’t usually hunt so I stay under a shield and tell my alliance in advance to do so. If they don’t shield, it’s their fault and we tell them as much because we prep them. But simply not knowing does not mean unfair. You lived and you learned. Now you know.

It’s only a waste if you plan to actually attack. I stay under a 24 hour shield and sign on and chat and do lairs and other things. Or I set an 8 hour shield if I’m unsure and remind myself with an alarm. Like I agree we need more shields. But a 12 hour shield is still not long enough anyway without resetting them. So 24 hour works well.

Vc is my favorite event in this game. I love how it forces alliances in a state who might not get along to put those differences aside and come together for a common goal. Every go around im getting better and better scores. I pay very little to play this game so im more focused on what I do with what I have. Its also great in a non war state because you can save up relocates speed ups ect to use for vc. The pairing with wasteland is great. Love the revenge option with vc. This is a very cleaver concept to force the need for state unity. Every 2 weeks I look forward to this. Although the paring was a bit off this time as my state (well those who didn't bubble) got absolutely smashed, we were paired with states we could do nothing to defend ourselves against. Just watch the fires and toast marshmallows from under our sheilds. From what I could tell we all still had a great time. Well done game makers! May the odds be ever in your favor!

I just discovered that you can complete all point stages in valiant by simply gathering 🤭I flew into the other state just as their level 7 tiles spawned and I was able to get x5. Used swift gatherer on them and completed 8/10 stages! I then instant recalled and then was able to grab another x5 level 7 😂. Came back a couple hours later and had all stages done.

VALIANT FAQ (subject to updates)

1. I've been attacked. Will my troops come back?
Yes, they will be back 10 minutes after Valiant ends. Any resources you lost, however, are gone forever. Sorry.

2. What happens if I attack/get attacked by someone from my own state?
The same thing that always happens under normal circumstances--you will have troops in your regular sanctuary infirmary and some troops will die. Depending on the severity of the attack, troops will then go to Deep Healing, then the alliance infirmary, and then, if all the space is used, they will just die. Player troops that are attacked by someone in their own state do not go to the state infirmary. Only attacks by players from other states qualify.

3. What if I attack/get attacked by someone from my state while in another state?
See the answer above.

4. Can I steal someone's weapon from another state?
No. Each state gets one copy of each weapon. You can't steal it from another state, no matter how many times you try, I promise.

5. Are troops in my camps protected if my sanctuary is shielded?
No. They are open to attack.

6. Should I put out camps to stop people from landing in open spaces?
I mean you can, but unlike Wasteland King, everything in Valiant is open to attack except alliance forts and buildings in other states, so camps won't stop anyone unless you put a full march in them and the person attacking the camps is weaker (which is possible).

7. Do I get points from attacks against people in my own state?
Again, no. Only foreign units count for points.

8. Do I have to attack people to get points during Valiant?
No, you can also gain points from gathering resources in another state, or from reinforcing your own alliance members when they are under attack.

9. Is there a limit to how many diamonds I can gather?
Yes, 8000.

10. I moved away when I was under attack and I was still attacked. Why?
Because you used a random relocate. If you are under an attack, you need to use DIRECT relocate. A random relocate will make the attack hit instantly. Direct relocate, then do a random relocate.

Technically yes you can, but you have to go through the Valiant event page to do this. Going through the map and tapping on your state won't work while Frenzy is activated.

Nope, but you can attack their gathering troops. Just remember it will make your shield fall, too.

13. What if I don’t have a shield to use?
Hide your troops in your alliance fort or outposts, or send them to reinforce an alliance member you know will stay shielded. Forts and outposts cannot be attacked by other states.

14. I can’t move at all! I’m stuck! / I’ve been relocated but I didn’t use my own relocation!
You’ve probably been frozen or relocated by the alliance you’re attacking. These are new alliance skills as of April 2022. If you’re in the territory of another alliance, they can freeze you (minimum of 15 minutes, maximum of 30 minutes), or forcibly relocate you.

LAG during Direct Relocate:
This has now happened to me 2 or 3 times and it’s been the exact same variables and timing. It wasn’t just random lag.

I was chasing off an attacker from our hive when red arrows appeared heading my way with a scout. I was prepared for it. I didn’t begin that attack without expecting that they had friends nearby; i was prepared the moment my screen went red and immediately hit a direct relocate away from the area. ..But nothing happened. …

INSTEAD, I had a red screen with no view of my sanctuary. It wasn’t in the previous location nor the one I was relocating to. The screen was momentarily paused, appearing to be lag. The first movement from the moment I hit direct relocates was a Strike Back package at top of the screen 3 seconds later. Then the screen was wild again with the frenzy of the situation.

This is not the first time it’s happened…..just like that….exact same time of direct relocating to avoid a hit. I lost rss on top of troops so tho I do get my troops back after the event, I won’t see that rss again.

I am certain I avoided it.
Has anyone else experienced lag right at this same time???

It’s due to the high volume of players on and attacks causing overload that leads to lag. It’s not “random” but it’s also not purposeful. Living with it is all we can do unless and until they upgrade their terrible servers.

Plus, when’s there’s typical lag the screen buffs with the white spinning icon. That doesn’t happen during this.

you get nanopotions from doing dailies like samantha said, but you also generate them at an hourly rate that increases up to a certain point with the less troops you have in there (im not sure if the generation cap varies based on hq level or not since i’ve been the same hq level since deep healing was brought out)

Troops may die. Infirmary will fill up. Deep healing will fill up. You lose resources.
