The lag during Valiant is absolutely ridiculous. I have been wiped twice today because of a lag. I spent over $150 on diamonds to continue playing, just to be hit while my whole ass screen was blank and it didn't even show up that I was being attacked. I'm really sick of this. Valiant is my favorite event and this has happened to me the last 3 Valiants. Really about ready to say to hell with this game.

If your state member attacks you during valiant it's legit hit so your troops are really dead and wounded. So you need actual RSS to heal

If you shield for Valiant, please take a screenshot of your shield in place with your system time and the shield duration time clearly visible. If you are attacked before the time is up, you then have proof of a bug, which can be reported and fixed. Or, you may notice that you didn’t set the shield you thought you did. Either way, there’s no getting to the bottom of it without the screenshots!

I don’t suppose you got a shot of setting those shields did you? I know it’s a pain, but the devs seem unable to, or won’t, check battle logs on their end to see when a shield expired.
I’m not trying to be callous, either. I feel for you. At the current tile levels it can take months to get enough rss to go to the next hq level if you don’t have help.

One of the mods before Valiant asked people to screenshot their shield so there would be proof that there's a bug with shields. I had the same problem couple of Valiants ago, lost a lot of RSS but I had no proof so couldn't change anything.

It all depends on how they coded the game, what logs are collected /kept, and the search tools available.
The game has some serious amounts of bugs and the lag is getting worse almost daily. Good thing they raised the level cap to make more money though.

That's the problem. Valiant wasn't created for protecting you, it was created to bring in more money and satisfy the people who spend big bucks to get strong.
If you ported away then they wouldn't have as much fun and wouldn't spend as much money.

As far as I know, you are only autoported after a hit when your wall reaches zero which is a pain!

I would recommend when putting on a shield to tap on the actual 'current positive effects' button in the lower right and verify that you have the type of shield you wanted to put on actually on. Sometimes due to lag, whatever a 2 hour shield might be on instead of an 8 for instance.

I just realized that in your first post about this you said you supplemented the 24 hour shield with an 8 hour one with 15 hours left on the 24 hour shield. You do know, I hope, that using the 8 would have overridden the 24, thus giving you only an 8 hour shield, not 23 like it sounds like you wanted. You cannot stack shields at the moment :(.

I definitely like being able to raid millions of rss from people in valiant. My state does a great job of being active and trying to defend against attackers. That and shield is the best way to protect yourself. I dont think changing how much rss you can raid would be a benefit though. Many people count on valiant for huge rss gains to make those extra building/training pushes.

This is something that you are going to have two very different views. Each one is usually very adamant that they are right and very passionate about it :)

It's good because you keep your state RSS in the state.
It's bad because you slowly kill state by killing those smaller people who forgot to shield. In attack from other states during Valiant they don't lose troops, but in the state purge they would be wounded/dead.

I could argue that your 'bad' points are good. Getting rid of players who aren't going to shield despite numerous warnings is considered to be by many a good thing. Again this is an argument that can go round and round and has been for years in these type of games. A lot of it just based on the fundamental philosophy of your gaming. Cull the weak is one of them. Help the weak is another.

We don't do purges in our state but i am one that thinks they are a good idea. Does that make me a dbag? Maybe. Having a state with a large population that logs in every once in a while and is not strong is not my definition of thriving. I've been in plenty of games and states, servers, etc where they are fully populated by a thriving, active community. It's not as simple as this is my opinion and states die if you dont believe it

States usually die more often if you are just random dbags. With rules that are ignored for friends or enemies or because the bigs don't like you, etc etc. I personally have found that if you have a set of rules and everyone knows them and gets used to them it can be just fine.

Okay he forgot to put that bubble on or had real life emergency and couldn't do so, he comes back after and sees himself zeroed by you, he won't think about rules when his hospital will be full and will need much more RSS to heal and rebuild thank you took in this purge.
I put on 24h shield which glitched , I wouldn't be happy if I would see my friends zeroing me for that

This is really good for our state discussion. My own opinion purge isnt good in any form because why would u attack your own state. But in other hand my team mate opinion is good. He said there will be like 10% person who will feel that but with purge rules you actually help the state to grow because other will shield and save the resources.

Again its a matter of opinion. My girlfriend plays a game very similar to this one and in her state there are no naps and open warfare in the state. It's a completely different environment. For those who want to play a real open war game have that thrill all the time and yes the agony of defeat goes hand in hand with that it can be great. But it's two completely different polar opposite viewpoints

I prefer more of a middle ground myself. Not complete chaos and anarchy.

We have found a happy medium. One day a week is dedicated to purging, but there are rules.
No one who helped in WK can be hit or scouted. You must scout first, and they must have xxx amount of plunderable goods. If there is a complaint it goes to the appropriate state channel so numbers can be seen or calculated. If the plunderer is found to be at fault, the same rules as for normal allied sanctuary hits applies.

Short answer: all people are different.
Longer answer: there are casual players, they just won’t log on early enough to shield and won’t have enough 3D shields to shield continuously.
when it comes to the choice between RL and logging in to shield lots of people have their priorities not in the game.
There are also people that don’t know when to shield, forget about the time if nobody tells them every week, etc.
And many more reasons

For valiant: make sure you screenshot your sheilds activation and the time it has left. If your sheild glitches this is the only way to prove you set it. I had mine glitch and got hit 12 times and lost 13 million steel on my other account. If i had taken a screenshot of the sheild they would have helped me apparently. They dont have proof if the glitch.

Some players report shields popping before they should leaving them vulnerable during Valiant Conquest.

If you shield for Valiant, please take a screenshot of your shield in place with your system time and the shield duration time clearly visible. If you are attacked before the time is up, you then have proof of a bug, which can be reported and fixed. Or, you may notice that you didn’t set the shield you thought you did. Either way, there’s no getting to the bottom of it without the screenshots!

Maybe the developers should have fixed the shield glitch before continuing with valiant, it seems like these glitches are there on purpose since they've added t12 and increased hq levels there is nothing but lag and shields that expire way before the deadline and we are not stupid we know what a 24hr shield looks like and how long it should last. Are we all going to just ignore the fact that all this is nothing but a money grab??? That would be fine but before you introduce new content fix the existing problems?

It’s not a glitch they reckon it’s your internet problem 🤣. Last SvS WK event I sent marches out right talent troop march was correct but my states were way off lost 300k riders and there answer was it’s your alliances fault. 🤦‍♂️ then they gave another excuse it’s your internet/service provider also 🤦‍♂️. Not once did they want to admit it was a glitch brought it up with several PnS mods and game help and nothing no answers well straight answers have all the ss a lot showing what talents had set what my stats should have been even my stats when talent set on other talents my wounded the player I attacked which should of won against and had a lot less wounded but still nothing. They just don’t give a flying fuk about anyone except there 💰 count at the end of the day.

It was a rss tile I attacked there march size was smaller and there stats were 2000atk % on riders my stats are 2260atk % on my riders at the time but when I looked at report it said my stats were 1500Atk % but my march size was correct and my talent was set correct if I had my talents set on my other pre sets my march size would have been 30k smaller which would of made sense

Did you maybe bookmark that battlelog because you knew it would be important? Bookmarked reports go to another section in your mail and disappear from the regular battlelog (sadly). Check the bookmark folder in mail

That’s an entirely different glitch. What you see here is the light overlay for the fort instead of that for the outpost on top of your outpost. So the lit windows are in the wrong places.

IPhone 11 the time shows with the game, which is a HUGE improvement! So you just take the ss normally if the clock shows. If not, take the ss, then go into photos and take ANOTHER ss of the screenshot, which should show the time, to send to CS if needed.
Yes, it’s a pain, but it’ll be worth it if they can get this issue fixed.

I think i kind of experience the same thing.
I was attcling and being attacked in VC.
The game lagged when i was attacked, and the battle report doesn't show up in my logs, only the mail from fox (State infirmary mail).

Normally the fox mail came alongside with the battle report.

Only sharing this information for whoever needed it. But no complain whatsoever :D

The lag issue been around for ages now despite several patches that never permamently resolved the problem.

I think a good portion of the lag issue is the device we are using.
My iPad 6th gen lags horribly! My iPhone 11 rarely does so, even when using the same wifi my iPad is on.
I think it’s a conspiracy by Apple, Microsoft, etc., to get us to pay MORE money for an upgraded device. The lag will be better for six months or so, then the device will be ‘outdated’ and we’ll start lagging again.

If you shield for Valiant, please take a screenshot of your shield in place with your system time and the shield duration time clearly visible. If you are attacked before the time is up, you then have proof of a bug, which can be reported and fixed.

So I'm late to the party but in my experience the only thing that works for Traps is when they send vehicles in the march. It seems the vehicle activates the traps and then depending what else is with it will decide what trap is used.
