That might be the case. Since we never attack our own state but rather turrets of other states if we look for casualty points I don’t have any logs to look at to check that

we had naps in place and I think the others were a bit afraid of us so we went and did it on our own state this time - usually we go to another state as well, but hence we didn't have any visitors either

A lot of it is based on your hubs taken and hubs defended so if you take a lot and they don't then thats how the matchmaking works

Wasteland doesnt matter really unleas they are able to increase rewards for taking other states. I say if you take another state then you should be able to get those troops that died in that state back if captured by your state

Some stats to hopefully bring aome perspective to older state guys on how broken the match making is for this event and why some of my comments may come off as salty with a lack of undertsanding.

From states 1 to 80 you have about an 8% chance of losing your state in Wastland King. So maybe once every 10 Wastleland Kings you lose your state.

From 200 to 280 that percent goes to to over 35% chance of losing your state. Nearly all of those loses are from matchings with much older and advanced states.

I'll be back tomorrow asking a Mod to send a message, so if you want to pm me each day that you sent a note of my complaint I'd apprietiate it!

well i'm from S80 and we had now for the 4th time S14 with a guy close to 2b might and alot of other strong ones, they just play with us and didn't intent to take the hub

I think we had them a couple weeks ago. They were nice enough to let us keep the hub but I did lose 200k troops that day to turrets.

But as s239 there's no reason we should get these type of match ups week after week. I know I'm salty but by the fourth time you've been kicked in family jewels it's hard to maintain composure.

It's that time of the day! Please send a note that Alvin says the matching sytem for Wastleand King is broken. When states 1 to 80 have less then a 10% chance of losing their state but 200 to 280 have over a 35% chance of losing their state, something is broken or worse.

Not correct at all. My might was about 270mil going into our last WK and I'm highest in the state. The 4 guys who came in and smacked us around right when it began where all over 500mil with an hq40 around 800mil.

Few players 800m doesn't mean all state is like that. I'm from s49, we have multiple 1b guys but it doesn't mean I'm the same in might as they are.

And if it happened once in a while I'd understand. My first WK in the state s44 was so over powered to us and the other state which was s238 that they took both states.

Next WK we get s5 and s14. And only kept our hub because s14 too pity on us but held turrets for points so I lost 200k troops I couldn't get a boost to recover.

So, yeah it kinda sucks a bit from my perspective woth these matchups. They're ansolute garbage fory state and what you are sayong can't possibly how these matchuos are made.

The ranking is also taken into account how good you were. It is difficult for us to present it ourselves, so the CS is the better place to ask these questions

S60 is stronger than us and took our hub. We fought but lost. We knew we could get matched with them cause we took hubs previously. Its part of the game. While I have issues with some players in s60, I understood we could lose our hub based on our own choices. besides its only two weeks and you don't really lose all that much. Titles, decrees, and award boxes. In the end it's not a big deal.

I don’t think so. I think it’s mainly hub record that affects match-up. I’m not too sure also but I think Destroyer and VC state scores might affect it too? But for sure if you’ve got a strong hub record for WK, meaning you’ve taken hubs and avoided having your hub taken, the match-ups should get harder

Some rumors are that it goes by state power, however taking other states during wasteland definitely says that your state is ready for a higher level of battle. I hope this helps

That’s one of the few things the devs actually told us. That state might and hubs taken are factors in the matching algorithm. But also that there are more factors that they won’t tell us exactly what they are.

Our state gets put up against insanely stronger states than us.. we haven't lost our hub and have only taken one... But our largest alliance made global ranking and our state tends to rank decently in events

Your points stay with your alliance. Only an ongoing quest would be immediately lost by leaving an alliance. If you return before Showdown ends you can accept more quests (unless you already did the maximum). You can claim the rewards as long as you return before claiming period ends.

169 got 128 and 131, the same exact states we got last wasteland. We've had our strongest t11 players in the hub, strongest from 131 comes and by himself takes everything.

They ended up fighting it out really fiercely over each other’s hub, and now 142 is holding 140’s hub while their home hub is shielded… but their home hub is empty. Does this mean everyone in the home hub can leave to join offense once the hub is shielded? Meaning, no one needs to be occupying it to keep the shield active?

The lag this weekend was abominable. We lost our hub and got reset because our player was on his way, speeding up, and the lag prevented him from continuing to speed. We won in the end, but it was a lot longer and uglier than it needed to be. Because of lag.

WK and Valiant really should be staggered on different weekends and times. The servers clearly cannot handle the number of people online at once.

I think you missed how this wlk went in reality. Your hub was rallied not singled. our might lvls are equal - you have hq 38s we have them. Below that it was pretty even too.
Our 38s are actually very kind people, but they play the game. We win some we loose some. but if you dont play you will never win.

And yes we kept some towers after we gave your hub back for some of our small to have occupation points, it wasnt showing off. we kept your hub 4 hours. Only one person in your state really tried to fight back and I commend him for it as he took towers back... Imagine what you could all do if they all helped.

No hard feelings, nothing personal, no showing off, just trying to score points, get some casualty points and get stronger for the next round.

This is only partly true. While the hub may have been rallied, I literally watched the 38 port around on the first take and singe handily wipe our towers. I was online and watched it happen.

Our players play the game, not sure why that comment is in there. There is only one alliance that doesn't help, and it's more because no one agrees with their rule proposals (no nap, top 5 wasteland farming only, lvl 30 and above wasteland farming only), so they don't help the state. That is their choice, and one everyone has to live with.

I think it's clever, you guys don't win so you don't move up and get creamed. It's a good strategy and you guys are well organized. Just stinks we got stuck with the same states two wastelands in a row and got our butts kicked twice lol

I don't think anything is personal, everyone can play their own way. It's a game and in 5 years from now, no one will remember this or care. Just depends on which side of the fence you are on for opinions of others.

The tax rate is the same regardless of who holds your hub.
The tax rate on sanctuary hits is 30%, regardless of hq level. The rate on transporting goods depends on your hq level.

Depends on who‘s in that turret. But with the states you faced in the last WK events your number seems accurate😉

It depends on who is leading in the hub, and whether they have the SWP that increases rally size, plus the leaders own rally size.
When we lost our hub for four hours a couple of months ago, it took them about four hours to wipe enough troops for them to rally it. The captain already had a massive rally size, then add the whip (I think), you’ve got a tonne if troops to kill off or wound enough for your team to take it. And even though we were constantly refreshing troops, they still got it because we just didn’t have enough replacements. We used those four hours to build more troops and form a solid plan for regaining our hub.

There will be a 300% training speed boost that takes effect after Wasteland to allow you replace lost troops more time efficiently. If you lose you hub, the boost starts automatically. If you win your hub, the governor has to start it manually. Definitely take advantage of the boost.

For the nth time, our state 239 has been matched with a mighty state like 54! This is ridiculous! We always Get matched with powerful states and have been losing every svs. I thought matching is based on win/lose stat.

If you can’t get another hub then there’s always the option to forfeit your hub to the other states. That should get you other opponents next time.
