No. Troops on resource tiles no matter what event is or is not going on will not die. They will be wounded and go to your infirmary

I like the changes made to the point system (two systems now unified) that is less confusing to explain to other players in my state, it lessens the burden of managing the defense/hosting guild for occupation points, the rather exclusive rewards (the frames) that used to be for the 'real' global leaderboard are now open to a narrow, battle division leaderboard and Nataly fragments are more achievable now that death points are allowed. It's the good changes I've been waiting for.
Though, it appears that the state ranking needs improvement? For No 71, grade is gold, trophy point is 2,800 - should have been Platinum? Then No 59 and No 60 should've been Platinum and there's blank for No 58.
They have always been rider based from what I remember. Gold frame granted by Governor is fighter based, then these rider based frames used to be for Top 50 globally, now changed to your battle division only.

Fastcome back is the boost you receive after wk to build more troops at 300% added speed.

I am T8, and my state only allow for T9 and above to hold hub and turret, in our state also in opponent state. Then they lose some troops and might.
Now they ask for the lower level to pitch in rss for their healing and retraining troops.
Does this common to happen? The high level player got their rewards tho, yet still demand for rss from small player who can't get poin due to the rules created.

- 300% fast comeback boost will be automatically start after WK and that's it. No boxes, titles, bulletins, boosts for 2 weeks.
- Some states do offer resources for healing, mostly voluntarily contribution as part of defending the states. If it's forced contribution just in the name of WK NAP, it's not a good look on your state and may lose people's interest rather fast. But then, always check if it's required in your state for NAP participation - it may be NAP based on WK participation.
You can consider other options (negotiation or immigration) if NAP based on WK participation isn't up your alley.
Happened to me when i transferred from a platinum state grade to a legend state. āŗļø.. got the platinum rewards, then the legend rewards upon landing š¤
Does anyone think PNS over corrected the hub point system? State trophy scores have been shrinking like crazy, and if the current rate continues before long there will not be a diamond bracket. When a state like 164 is in plat, not sure this is working as intended? Lol

I agree, perma-nap states still won't fight and the useless rewards on offer certainly don't offer the incentive to. You can literally lose thousands of hours worth of rss and speed ups in terms of troops for not not a lot of gain by taking a state. Just nap all the way down to silver. No one cares. Pretty soon most of gold will be silver and platinum will be gold and so on. They've screwed it up.
We've actually been looking at taking States again because of the new rules. I think we don't want to drop from gold if we can avoid it.
Is there hero line up to set in the hub where troop defense the person holding the hub stats apply to every troop type in hub

How do you go from gold to platinum when we were already platinum the previous WLK. According to the points system we should have dropped back to gold?

In the pins check out the tool that helps plan out what tier you end up in based on your states starting # of trophies and what scenario plays out

It's recommended to send the same troop because they're going to get all of your boosts I believe. So if you're strong on one and weak on another it won't be as useful

If you can be friendly with someone from another state you can both get points on tile hits without killing any troops permanently. You can then use instant heal through the week to lessen the cost of healing. Itās how I typically get any extra points needed after the hubs are secured.
Fast come back doesnāt apply to tile hits though so if you wanted to kill some middle tier troops to get the boost you can always kamikaze them into a tower.
Coffers: thereās a weighted 10,000,000 limit when you give them out. Is that 10mil limit per day or per person?

You get by points in a grade (bronze - legend) and in this group a random generator picks up the opponents

Are there any guides for strategy? Beyond just the basic "take the turrets and take the hub?" We'll be t8/t9 going up against the only t10s in the state so I feel like some semblance of strategy or understanding is needed.

There's going to be 3-4 t10 players, one of them has about triple the next highest might (whale). None of us will be up to t10 by then.

No. Each individual can only send troops to 1 building.
So, if you take all the towers. You will slowly kill all the troops in the hub. Fastcome back does not apply to turret fire on the hub

And how can people not in the "main" alliance help on both sides? Obviously they can't hold or reinforce turrets once the hub is occupied, so are they roaming around attacking sanctuaries of the opposing sides or what?
If the main alliance has only the hub. And other alliances take towers. Towers will still hit hub.
So I guess they can still try to clear out the turrets for the main alliance to occupy (is that a thing folks do?). But when they're not doing that, what can they do?
Super rally does carry over and only the lead needs to send heroes. You can only send troops to one rally at a time so make sure your strongest are starting the rallies.
Who can change captains in hub and turrets? Just R5? Militarist? Overseer? Captain of turret?

Let's say I am in state 100 and I plan to conquer state 200.
We capture S200 hub and towers and S100's hub becomes shielded.
Do we also need to hold the towers in S100?
If we do not, does the shield prevent any attack, including from S100 towers held by S200 folks?

Anyone in the hub can spend 2000 diamonds and become captain. The captain can also freely pass captain to another commander in the hub already.
The same is true for turrets.
Question- Can the r5 from the winning hub pick a governor that is not in there alliance or do they have to be in the same alliance? If they have to be in alliance is it the whole time or just before event ends? Any help with this would be appreciated thanks
The R5 can only appoint someone thatās currently in the alliance. They donāt need to be in the whole time

The shield prevent attacks other than turrets firing at the hub. So you may put a few t1 in s100 hub and the full forces in s200. Regularly refill s100 hub with t1 since they will get kill by turret firing. Since turrets attacks are permanent loss so you can just let each player do 100 t1 and since now occupation point is solely by the minute, t1 do just fine. However if you lose s200 hub, you risk losing your hub in S100.

120 minutes = +300

Time and dailies. You get them from dailies only if you have wounded in deep healing, same for time. In other words, we canāt stockpile them for later use.
Maybe the tiers aren't the same then. These are mine so far for kill points:
1.5m = 250
3m = 300
6m = 350
12m = 400
18m = 450
But i did my daily mission before the deep healing was needed it. Do i need to wait for tomorrow?

Hitting does not give a bubble, only occupying another hub does. And you only get the bubble as long as you occupy that other hub.
Hub only, if you mean occupying. Turrets are still open to take. Turret fire on the hub still works through the shield and does NOT count toward fast comeback.

@fresh prairie if you care, we ended up fighting. Their big whale was supposed to be busy at work and one of their allies joined our side because they didn't like how they were handing the whole situation. So we had a t10 player on our side, leaving it 1 t10 on each side.
We were doing well. Took two turrets, on our way to a third, and we had the hub for about an hour. Their one t10 hit my sanctuary twice and lost both times. I was pretty surprised.
But about two hours in their whale showed up and did exactly what we expected him to do. Teleport to sanctuaries and knock them out, send endless rallies to turrets to take them out, etc. Couldn't do anything about it.
But at least the governing alliance seems to have changed their tune. Either because they realized they're not as strong as they thing they are without the whale, or realized how many people opposed the way they were running things. But either way it looks like we got our goal. Or at least will be able to negotiate for it.

Advice from states that do mud sitting still, how to get people to follow the grid map? š¤¦āāļø they seem to find it so difficult to plug in coords and drop or clear the way first before finding a spot. Makes me want to tear my hair trying to direct themš

If you do, can you post how your system works and if it works well for smaller alliances with ftp players (or farm alliances that typically don't have high tier troops)?
S187 used to do the point system, but it was always the same alliances, so we switched top 9.
There was a range of points for things like signing up for sitting in the mud, signing up for WK, sending out camps, actually participating in Wk didnāt earn points though.
It worked really well for smaller alliances. I was a Member of a smaller alliance then, and we had about ten active members; we always got NAP. New alliances also have a chance to earn their way to NAP a lot easier.
Camping and babysitting the wasteland work really well for f2p and farm alliances as they require zero cash input, just a 24 hour shield bought with diamonds from rewards or gifts, and maybe a top up with an 8 hour gotten as a gift or from mystery shop.
For camping we send one t1, so higher tiers donāt matter.
We didnāt cap the number of participating alliances, we didnāt have to

We have a point system awarding points for camping, mud sitting and defending. What happens is that alliances with qualified defenders would often choose to not send defenders and get NAP by mud sitting or camping. This leads to a lot of grumbling about it being not fair.

How many camps do they have to set to get NAP? Maybe our threshold is too low. We currently have it at 30.
Depends on how many marches you have. We did it by the individual, who earned points by for the alliance.
5 marches would be 3 camps, 4 would be two, 3 would be 1.
If you have an alliance that is very small, about 45 people, with more than half who are inactive, but they keep them for the numbers, and of those left only 6-10 are active daily, thereās no way they could send 30 camps.
How old is your state? A lot of states find there comes a point where people are sick of giving up their Saturdays for more of the same thing every two weeks, so they decide to sit out a few and reconnect with life. Then that few turns into a few more, and a few more, etc. Even with the changes that were made to WK, more than a few are finding that it isnāt worth it to go and get your troops killed for not much reward.
I suggest talking to council about ways to make it fun and interesting again, and motivate people to give up their Saturdays again.
This is the problem I've been having. I enjoy fighting but not when it's hard to find others willing to fight.
A lot of people are finding this. I like to fight too, but the cost, for me, is a no go, and I have real life stuff that has to come first.
I think PnS has hit the wall. They either need to get innovative with some new events, instead of recycling old ones, or they need to lower prices to Bring
in new blood and keep tried and true players.
Frankly, Iām sick of giving up a whole Saturday and part of Sunday and paying more than I can afford to recoup my troop losses. Even with fast comeback, state boost, cost reduction talent, and personal training boost, itās bloody expensive!

Iāve solved my issue, at least temporarily. I just donāt participate. Usually avoid the game, especially the last two hours. State whatever has held their hub for six consecutive hours was annoying in the beginning, now it just pisses me off.

Quick question. I know some states have a point system for participation for WLK. Can I get a little more info on that?
You would probably have to find out from the states themselves. That is a out of game decision made by the groups running those states.
However you might get lucky in someone might actually pipe up about how they do it
Can only say how s208 does it. We have unlimited NAP spaces. Nap is decided based on wk participation. Big alliances need to send a minimum amount of active participants. For smaller still growing alliances (less than 3 hq30+) we allow minimal 3 participants and the rest of points can be earned by placing hq around the towers in mud. Itās a system that works for our state but the options are unlimited and think should be made taking how your state is populated into account and also what is desired. Some states choose the limit the amount of NAP spots grandest, for us thatās not a good option because we actually wanna stimulate the smaller alliances to have an active role too.
We have full NAP of tagged bases so for mud farming rights alliances need to provide a minimum of 10 volunteers for Wasteland

Every time I participate in wasteland I never send same as captain just my main march. This will solely be based of your states preference
There has been a lot of debate as to what boosts the reinforcing commanders get.
The common opinion is that they only get the boosts to the same troop type as the Captains.
I feel this may have been the case in the past, perhaps, in the first year of release, but I do not feel that is the case anymore.
What would be logical would be that you get whatever troop boosts the captain has activated. (Troop atk, def, super Reinforce, etc) Not, his troop type buff or only to those who are the same as his march as the march can consist of more than one troop type.
Nobody has been able to produce empirical data to support their claim but they are willing to die on that hill. Hoping someone could shed some actual light on the matter. Thank you.
Our state has statewide NAP for any alliance who helps with wasteland either by fighting or placing camps in all open spaces around wasteland. We dont put them on the mud though. There's a shell alliance that we join if we are fighting. Unfortunately the shell is run by one person as r5 and so we seem to get the same governor too often.
You only receive all of the captains troop boosts when sitting under them - regardless of troop types etc - if the captain superreinforces the turret

Thank you all. I am trying to convince the stronger alliances that it would be wise to post a balanced captain in each tower so it would not matter who went where or what their boost amounts were. It would open up a lot more troops to be a fighting force rather than the heavy restrictions of t10+ only and they have to be a certain type when there are hundreds of millions of t8 an t9s.
This is coming from the same commanders that use the t1 taxi meat shield tactic and then say t8 s are too weak? I guess I am missing somethingā¦

I think it is a waste of combat ability and a tactical oversight. Hell, the captains donāt event need to send a full march of their top troops. All that is needed are their boosts and rally size. Lol

We use t9 and higher. Mostly because we used to have to, but once we know there's not going to be too much fighting we let everyone into the turrets.
I could see that in an older state for sure. Our strongest commanders are hell bent on restricting our states fighting capacity and then complain that they do all the heavy lifting. š¤
I try to encourage letting the major forces we have available to do the brunt of the fighting and use their boost rates paired with overwhelming numbers instead of trying to overpower every single march. Itās too costly.
Half the time, when we come under attack, we just simply run out of qualified troops then there are no more to take anything back. The elite troops need to be preserved as much as as efficiently as possible is my opinion. T8s can be replenished extremely quick.
All good in theory of course. Probably wonāt ever get a chance to put it to the testā¦.unless I challenge someone to try to take our fort and use that strategy. If it works, they might listen.
Having balanced captains would render all of your captains incredibly vulnerable. It is much more cost effective to specialize in a single troop type. I'm not saying that your off troops should not receive some investment, but beyond a certain point I'm not investing in them when I can increase the strength of the troop I am specializing in. I would much rather have someone captain a building that has 4000 Fighter ATK/HP/DEF and 2000 for Shooter and Rider than someone with say 2600 Fighter 2800 Shooter and 2600 Rider. Your opponent that is trying to take that building will most likely be specialized and just flat out do more damage to you. The T1 meatshield is for defending your own HQ to minimalize casualties of your higher troop tiers. You wouldn't want lower tier troops in your buildings unless you are sure that you will not be attacked.
Ah, this is interesting because I am now getting contradictory information about the taxi shield.
- Your argument says that 4000% boost in a single troop type is ideal vs other specialized marches. However, it does not take into account counter troop types whatsoever. Letās say, you have 4000% fighters facing a march of 4000% riders, who would sustain greater casualties? Your fighters. Maybe even close to 35% of them.
Now letās say your captain is balanced and, more accurately, it is closer to 3000% fighters, 3200% shooter, 3100% riders.
You will likely be assaulted by many different troop types, therefore, when you are hit by 4000% fighter march, the tower casualties will go from fighter to shooter to rider.
Letās say you lose 10% of your fighters to the fighter march in the tower, 15% to shooters, and maybe 5% to riders. (Round numbers here)
Then the next march is a shooter march,
The casualty priority will eventually hit the counter troop type reducing casualties and increasing kills. By how much is debatable of course.
To specialize towers, you are asking for smarter enemies to target you with the specialized counter troop type and that can absolutely tip the scale to even even if boosts are greater in the tower. You can see evidence of this in the arena where I have, personally been defeated by the counter troop type even though I outnumbered them AND out boosted. Rock Paper Scissors my friend.
Even if you out boost them, I would argue you will face far more casualties in the end than if you were balanced.
And the contradiction I am seeing here is that there are already states that fill with t1 taxis. However you do not get points and it is extremely boring..
The logic as you say it, that it is strong enough to protect your sanctuary but not a tower raises a few questions unless you could produce empirical data to show this is the case. Because right now, I have seen other states already do this with success.
And by using lower tier troops in towers with super reinforce, you are weakening your enemy, utilizing more available forces in state, preserving your elite forces, and allowing the burden of war to be spread equally among everyone.
This translates into being able to fight at a higher capacity for longer, reduce recovery time, and cost.
Thatās my opinion. However, I cannot seem to get people out of their little boxes to try something new. We can what if all day, but I think itās a bit more complex than the biggest boost wins the war. Too many variables to calculate so simply.
I find the hardest mode to get people out of is double nap. Troop huggers with their fake might don't want to fight because they might lose a few troops.
Regardless of the stats listed, at a certain point, a specialized opponent can up their stats enough to negate the counter effect damage of the balanced captain.
If you lose troops in a turret or hub but you hold it, you can have people reinforce. It's not just the opponent that gets to continually send marches/rallies at the buildings so I don't really understand the point that you are trying to make there. I'd rather hold against a rally instead of try to scramble to retake. And you will find yourself doing that if you put lower tier troops in the buildings and your opponent chooses to use the strongest tier at their disposal. Super reinforcement applies the captains stats to all troops, but does not upgrade the troop tier. So if you want to stock T1s in a building you can. But just understand that at equal rally sizes and stats, the side that has lower tier troops will most likely lose, and probably lose big. There is a certain point where low tier troops do almost no damage to attackers and pretty much just melt, even with the captains stats applied. Best use of T1s in buildings is if you have a shield on your hub because you have taken another hub, and an enemy is occupying your turrets. You'll only lose T1s instead of higher tier troops.
The point you make about smarter enemies, that will happen regardless of how you stock your buildings. Some states have really great coordination and are set up to be able to win. I'd rather have my strongest options and force them to either have the strong HQ with my counter type, or have to get smart like sending multiple rallies at a time. Having balanced troops in buildings just means they have to have someone strong, regardless of specialization, which will be way more prevalent.
Now T1s as a meatshield work for your HQ because the amount of troops that you can have in your HQ far outnumbers what you can have in a building. Buildings are limited to the captains rally size. So the more lower tier troops you stock in there, the easier it is to lose against a rally. The side that has the higher casualty percentage loses and they will be removed from the building or fail to take it. For your HQ, you don't get bounced out, but you have a large number of troops that could die if you are hit by a larger opponent. Having millions of T1s absorb some of that damage will help your T11s or whatever tier you have assume less casualties. So you lose T1s, but they are far cheaper and easier to build.
You could negate it if it were grossly different by how much would you think exactly? I donāt think it would be as negated as one might think with only a couple 100% difference. Maybe 700-1000% sure. Would not matter if it is counter troop. Wasteland should not be that grossly out boosted or you will be defeated and ranked down to a more suitable rank.
And let me clearify a bit. The idea of using a slightly lower tier, for example t8 in young state and t9 in a mature state, is that you can only reinforce as many times as you have the troops available to do so.
You have a 8 hour battle ahead and 5 million t10s. You simply fight until you cannot reinforce with t10s anymore and if the enemy has more or fights with superior efficiency, you will lose in the last half of the allotted time. It is a war of stamina.
So, the idea would be to use the minimal efficient troop first to weaken the enemy and preserve your main firepower for the middle to late half of the allotted time. Im sure many states can attest to being simply outlasted. No more troops to reinforce with. You lose a tower? No more troops to liberate the fortification. So, letās say you have 100 million t9s available. Why not make them battle them first before the 5 million t10s? The enemy will be wounded before even fighting the strongest of your states force is the idea at least.
Retaking is not that difficult when they just lost 20% over three or four marches just trying to get rid of a few million t9s. You come in right behind them with some fresh t10s and send em home. Rinse and repeat.
The T1 taxi support idea is a new one to me so Iām not sure how they are doing this successfully. To watch a full t10 march into a tower with the captains troop and full taxis, and not return is baffling to me. Rationally, I agree with you. They should just melt right? I donāt understand where the algorithm hole is or how⦠maybe itās because it is just THAT easy and cheap? Idk, man.
I still think a well balanced captain would be beneficial in the event of allowing the state to mix and match in the towers. Makes for quick and efficient reinforcement without facing a deficit of one troop type in the state. Unless state controls who makes what troop types which I have not seen yet.

Mixed troop in turrets or hub. I have mixed feelings on that. If you have all three types in one tower and a full force or say shooters is coming. Than the riders is useless. But if you have a full force of riders in your turret and shooters hit. Useless lol.
Especially if the boost value is close.
I know that we usually run one mixed tower and it does not fall as quick. I am trying to rationalize this.
Is it because a specialized commander will target the tower that gives them the advantage and we do not see as much action in the mixed tower?
Or is it because it is easier to keep full and we never run low on troops in that tower?
Not sure to be honest. I would like to put it to the test though and utilize as much of the entire states forces as physically and rationally possible.
If the leader sends his best rider march. And then super reinforce. Then the shooter and fighters marches sent would be covered under the rider stats right?
Not what we experienced. This is the discussion we have been facing. I tried testing this in our alliance fort.
When we super reinforced, all the troops directly took whatever my boosts were for whatever respective troop type it applied to. Fighters got my fighter boost,
Shooters got my shooter boost, etc.
when we did not super reinforce, it used everyoneās individual boosts for their marches according to the reports.
So maybe if you mix, donāt super reinforce? Let those commanders use the boost they been specializing in? š¤
Perhaps that would be a better approach until your down to the younger commanders who have lower boost values? Idk..

All you can do is have the strongest lead and alter when needed. Have everyone switch it up to defend against what ever the rally coming is is. If someone's strong enough to remove you with a rally, you were going to loose anyways.

Hello I was hoping to get some help from someone. I am in a state where the translation becomes difficult. So hopefully someone can explain this to me in English. We are about to go into wasteland King and one of the preparation steps is to fill the hospital. Where I get unclear is how many troops do I put in the hospital and what kind. From what I'm understanding right now I send full troops to a resource tile (in my case it's t10s) and then someone attacks me with taxis? And if this is the case how full should I get my hospital? Any clarification and understanding with this is greatly appreciated š
Why you need to fill the hospital before WK? As far as i know you need to empty your hospital so only 70% of your troops are dead
Or this perhaps supposed to make your troops goes to deep heals if your infirmaries are already full?
If your hospital is full then. Everything that does and goes to deep healing counts towards fast come back
I think that is the advice they are trying to understand. I use WK tile hits to fill my regular infirmaries so that by the time I hit turrets, I maximize the fastcomeback return.

Ok thereās a lot here but couple things that stood out to me- most people using t1 are using them for one of three reasons usually- one is cheaper risk. If ur opponent flies in and wipes your tower first 5 min you lose some t1 rather than t10+. This gives u time to assess your opponent and make strategy as u see fit whether that be nap or not. The next reason is you donāt get point for killing t1 but you DO get points for t1 dying. So basically the enemy has no incentive to kill u (other than they want ur state) but if they do kill you, youāre the only beneficiary. Not them. Third reason is if your not strong enough to hold the hub and all towers, itās going to kill 1% of your troops in the hub every turret, every 5 min, and these deaths donāt count as comeback. They donāt go to hospital. Theyāre just dead. This adds up very quickly and is very costly so t1 a obviously better choice. Also when your hubs shielded, turrets still fire so even though enemy canāt take it U still have to stay there and ur troops still dieā¦.
They other thing u commented about was using more low level troops with supered towers and yes- this is a strategy many states use. However when doing this itās critical that towers super remains in place. And more often than not someone falls asleep or gets sidetracked with life and super falls and everyoneās screwed
As for balanced vs single type. Also debatable depending on circumstances. If you have captains with balanced boosts high enough for this- by all means use em. Theyāre harder than hell to hit.
But most people are not that balanced. And the fact is many wonāt feel comfortable losing their boosts for lesser boosts. I personally have had poor planners that put my riders in a tower with super and the captains rider boosts where what mine were back when I was t8 still lol. I straight pulled my troops. F that. Iām not gonna be the sacrificial lamb in someoneās bad planning. And I didnāt spend thousands on my boosts just to use someoneās whoās smaller.
So yes with a perfect world and a state that follows directions and a militarist that understands the pros and cons to all these things- Iād say everything you mentioned would work quite well. All Iāll say is if you find this place with all these things- hit me up. Iāll move asap š

As long as they're t2 and above you can get points I believe, but it's not going to be easy. Knocking t1s off tiles really isn't worth it. Best is if you can find a headquarters sitting in the mud if the hub fight is over

Unfortunately you can't. One weekend the lead alliance gave it accidentally to a dead base and customer service couldn't help. So you're stuck with whoever it was given to.

You can't become their governor, but the 300% training boost activates automatically for them and should already be working

It gets activated as soon as wastland king is done. You can not turn on state boosts for the state you conquered so if your looking at there state boost it won't show it being turned on. Ask someone from that state if the fast comeback is activated. It should be

This is the 2nd time for me, and I'm FAR from the only player talking about this exact issue, where the lack of a points grid has been a REAL problem with the event. With the change 3 months ago it is now completely impossible to tell how many points are needed to finish the event and plan for that fact, so players are left guessing.
Have I gotten enough points troops killed so that occupation points will be enough, I don't know.

I get not having the pop-ups anymore, if fine with that, but what the max points are for a given type of action, and the points given for a given tier, are now a complete mystery for the event, so we have to 'guess' when enough is enough. Oh and this information exists nowhere on the web, myself, and others, have looked extensively with no luck.
Why not to write down the points by yourself and make a sheet about it? Its not for all the same, but usually thats how a lot informations here in server came from, some took the time to write down what points for what they needed and added them into a sheet and collected datas from others as well also and shared it then.
Yes, we could do that, but really we shouldn't have to. There should be a help option somewhere on the event screen that gives us that information. It doesnt have to be the pop ups again, just a flat screen display would do the trick.

that 'i' doesn't give you that, far from it. It just gives you the point values of given units which is only useful if you know how many points are needed for each tier in advance, so what is currently under those 'i's is pretty meh, not useful at all. You need both.
Basically, you need what used to be in the pop up charts, somewhere.

For states that fill the mud with bases. Why? What benefit do you get from that?
Only benefit would to keep the enemy states further back. But if you leave 1 spot it would defeat the purpose. And any 40 can just use speeds and diamonds.

you will still be able to attack in valiant war/wasteland king as long you not try to attack your own state.
The new rule was made just for don't allow who migrates to attack the new state before 24h.
hello all.. i have a question please.. during WLK, when reinforcing hub/turrets which one is better a. single troop type (ie. fighters only) or b. mixed troop type ? also if mixed troop type, is it advisable to use super reinforced or not ?
If superreinforcement then only mixed if the lead is strong in the mixed troops (for example rider and fighter), because only stats of the lead counts, otherwise your turrets/hub will be lost fast. Without superreinforcement those who join the turrets should have strong stats and take care to just add for example joining mainly shooters and few riders to make it safe against fighter etc

Something appears to be wrong with the state grades for wasteland. Our state was in platinum, we kept our hub, and took one state. Somehow we ended up skipping Diamond level tier completely and went right into legend. Not sure how that even happens. Are other states seeing this massive fluctuation in state rankings? Perhaps Diamond tier needs to be bigger?
Nah, because they changed the point system so people drop grade pretty fast unless they occupy another state, so not many people can retain the grade since many prefer to do nap when face with similar stats opponent. And since legend is top 9, anyone who pushes up the ranking from platinum gets into legend pretty easy.
And whoever goes up into legend just become victim of those monster states. Then you have a bunch of always nap states alternating between silver and gold.
That is a pretty apt description of the ranking
In WK it has personal point and state point.
a. Is state point only come from holding hub? or is there any other stuff that contribute to it?
b. Is tile hit or your base being attacked in mud will contribute to other state point? or only personal point?
Like our state ban tile gather in mud during WK (even after hub is in peaceful status/secured) - saying that mud gather will let other state getting poin, hence making our state lose.
And I dont think that is what happen in WK. I dont think tile hitting or getting attacked in mud after hub is secured will make my state lose, but not sure also š¤·š»āāļø
You will give the state other points for filling tiles in mud. But it wonāt prevent you from winning. Only 1 way to win. Is securing hub . A lot of us trade kills with others to get personal points. By filling tiles

Hi, I have a question about how and when you get a shield on your home hub. If you use two separate Alliances (attack / defence) and you take the opposing hub with your attack team but your defence team is in your home hub, will your home hub still receive the benefit of the Shield?

Your opponents are basically random. They're based on what grouping you're in. We haven't had the same opponents in more than a few wastelands at this point

You may end up matched with the same group for a couple of events. There was a space of a couple months where every few weeks would be matched up with a specific state but I really think it was just because we all were hovering around the same points and level
WLK sucks, the pairing system has paired us with states WAY older and larger then us for last few months, going to have to fight to try and get to bronze level just in a hope to get a somewhat even match up again.
Wish it at least worked like valiant where troops re-spawned and we could really go to town using them

There is a issue, best I can tell to even get close to a fair match up we will have to force lose enough to reach bronze rank and I am honestly skeptical that that will even net any somewhat fair match ups.
Frankly the system suck, the pairing is so bad the event is utter garbage, and this is compounded by the fact that unlike valiant where one can still enjoy losing troops cuz they come back WLK recovery is to harsh to really let loose and enjoy when your so far out-powered.
How is it a good system to be paired with states filled with accounts who are to old to fly to our state. Hell last war there was a 2 B might HQ 24. Among the many many many 1-2 billion might other players.
Because yea they should be ranked along with a newer state, that makes sense.
Honestly it is utter trash and easily one of the worst aspects of the game, the Devs REALLY need to work on a algorithm for matches that somewhat works, or at least remove losses for such events like all the other (res war, valiant ect)
I understand your point, but imagine it would be about age of states... ichis alliance in 335 with just states of that age... oh geesh... im happy its about points the state makes, so it protect other states to get paired by beasts like them
With the points the state makes it hold it in a balance... a few fights and you drop down in bracket and you will have then weaker states... you got pushed into a too high bracket and its annoying for now... but when you lose a few times your hub you will drop down and those stronger states will go up... just have patience

I think I read you get rss + boosts to pretty much get you back to where you were and more if you participate, is that generally true?
Anything that you get for participation is going to be based on your state. But if your state works together you can probably keep your hub which means you would have a governor who can set the boost and give titles

So question. How does the game determine which states fight against each other for the weekend? We got pited against a state that was filled 2billion might players and neither state stood a chance against them. When our biggest player has a billion might.

T9 was worth 40/45 points per own-killed/killed. T10 around 60 ... so it can't be "units" in that list. š
That is a chart of how many points you need for each tier.
If you lose units worth 1,000,000 points, you'll clear 10 tiers for 3300 total points (out of the 10,000 needed)

I would say blocking the green is more effective. If anybody wants to be on a shorter March to hit they can speed up other ways thn park on the mud.
We block both. We have enough volunteers to block past the alliances there. Important to get everyone, even you're smaller players involved
Any beast that wants youāre hub, theyāll spend diamonds to get it. Mud blocking is more of an illusion in my opinion.
This is the other side where blocking helps state unity.
Do you lose rss if you attack turrets in opposing states? I just need enough points for the speed ups but usually I canāt be on for most of the day. Last WLK I snuck away to do one attack on a turret then ported back home. I remember I lost troops but donāt remember if I lost rss which worries me because Iām sitting on a ton from Valiant still. You need to keep other hub (also you'r hub) to win points
so just reseting helps nothing

the war between states generally falls with the state statistics, but also the legion, if you are in gold, you fall with state gold, if you are silver, state silver and so on

to lose troops without losing points. if you exceed the capacity of victims, the opposing state gains points and your state loses3

Question? If Iām in another state attacking itās hub. Can another player from the same state I came from, but in a different alliance, attack my sanctuary? I know if I was in the mud they could. If we were in our home state they can, but wasnāt sure if it also could happen in the enemy state if someone was an EoS?
As long as you are in the green, no one can attack your sanc during WK. Doesnāt even allow the option to.
Valiant is where youād have to keep an eye out for that happening

Another in state alliance can attack, but he asked specifically if it could be done if the hub was shielded. They canāt attack if the hub is shielded.
I believe they can. We had an odd one where a state was trying to loose so they created fake accounts in other states to take hub. Then the other stage creates accounts in theirs to hold hub. I thought I saw a different alliance go through the shield to try and take hub. Maybe it bounced off and the giant shield just made me lazily look at it.
100% positive they canāt. In order to get through that shield one must have the same alliance tags as the person holding the hub.

From what I have seen for most instances, the display has been quite inconsistent since the changes implemented (battle division). I think I brought it up way earlier when the change implemented. But then I kept noticing inconsistencies in the grade - but it doesn't affect much. Figured that it's a minor, display bug.

The chart shows which levels drop and by how much if youāre curious. Just remember itās referring to foreign hubs. Itās kinda misleading. Other than that the only one in question now is the no longer existing legend tierā¦. Lol

I am not sure what the point is for the Wasteland King event. For instance, today, you put my state 548 against S27 and S251 - collectively as an entire state we don't have the might to match the top 5 players - these types of match-ups cause people to leave the game - I am talking to several who just feel like there is no point - because every time you send these monsters into a baby state they just decimate us and we have no chance to even try to fight. IT is ridiculous. We aren't able to get any event points without annihilating our entire troops force for the state. What is your point?
Hi! I am sure this has been answered somewhere but want to clarify the fast comeback boost in wk. i beleive game says you get credit for might depleted by ācasualtiesā. That means killed or wounded troops. But I have heard the credit only applies to killed troops?

I believe nothing will happen. Your state has to be holding both hubs
All based on tiers. What tier is your state in?
The point is to defend your state to earn rewards. Thatās it. Under the new points system, when states defend their hub successfully but donāt take any others, they drop points. So youāll face a wider variety of states. And not all old states are strong.
I think itās a display error. Everything else still says legend and itās still a tier for all the rewards.

If it's not the same alliance then yes they will take damage
The moght of one player in the state that took us is more than the top 10 players in our state... so if that is the matching it is deeply flawed
That's the thing with the new setup. You're going to run into moments that you can't win and eventually you'll find times when you can. The only thing I can suggest is start working together to make the entire state stronger. That's what we've been doing in mine.

@livid gazelle i will say that our state is working together, but when our highest member in our state is 300 mil mt, and the visiting state has more than 1 player over 1 bn mt - there is a problem with the matching. Defend it as rote, but that is a serious problem ... even in nukaland last week there was i player with over 850 mil mt, I'm barely over 100 mil mt .... I know there are better matches out there. This is an issue that should be acknowledged.
Any specific rules about matching will be gamed by alliances. Better to just leave it to random matching within the grades, IMO. Sometimes you get a good matchup, sometimes you don't.
Nuka land isnāt based on might itās based on hqs. Wasteland is based on your grade level similar to res wars. Drop a grade of you arenāt happy with the match making is the only real solution. By the sound of it though youāre likely in starter or bronze. The only thing you can do is negotiate a NAP and use your time to get stronger

I would really like to know what you guys are thinking when you're matching up states for wastelanking because why would State 9 be matched up with 551? I mean the might difference in those two states is just outrageously different. You would think that there would be some sort of formula that you know. The states are going to have relatively the same amount of might or be close in age not be like one of the oldest states and are really new state
It's based off what bracket your in. You can literally be put up against any state within that bracket
Well this needs to be taken back to the drawing board and refig it out because there should be a bracket for your might range. Not a bracket for the whole of PNS because those bigger states just don't fight in wasteland King and they bring down theirs so that they can go bully the little states
I wouldn't say uts perfect but it's pretty neat I've met a variety of people I every state based on how it is plus it was recently changed. If they go up a bracket you won't face them again. Theirs more Little states than just newer states. There is 7 brackets i think and everyone starts somewhere
I think it's a big fail unless you can get an NAP with those big states. You're screwed. There's no way for the states that don't even have anybody with a a billion might to fight against states that have 20 players with over a billion might
It happens not all wastelands are fair. I've seen brutal wastelands and I've seen boring wastelands. Now since Nataly has been added I've seen a good mix of stuff. There's gonna be times you need to nap just pick your battles wisely.
You used to be or a couple months into playing this on the state I was in was matched up with states that were around the same age. Some of them are stronger but it was still fun. You could still actually kick them out of your hub. You just had to fight for it the way it's set up now. Once those older states are in your hub and they've taken over, you can't do anything. You're screwed
It's not about picking your battles. It's about the other states being bullies like once there's that big they don't care about NAP and they'll pretend to have one with you and then at the last minute they'll break it because they're bullies because they can be because there might is so much more. It's unfairly matched. It should be matched by the might of the state they should be within. You know a billion of each other at least
Other states are not bullies if they choose not to nap that's also leads back to the whole if you know you can take a state successfully do it. See the breaking nap is a different story that I can understand frustration from I've seen that and was in a wasteland when something like that happened. But you also gotta remember naps are player made this is a war game after all and that's what keeps me sane most days. Some states will make wasteland go the full 24 hours and I cannot understand why and how they haven't sleptš I give them props
They are bullies because they can be. They will say they will do an NAP then wait out almost 8 hours and then they'll come attack. You let me guess you're in one of those old states, so that's why you're so defensive of not being able to fight against the younger ones that can't stand up against you
I agree it is a war game, but it should be matched up fairly by the might of the state. The younger states should not be matched up with states that have five times the amount of might in them that they do and I have spent plenty of times awake 24 hours fighting but it was a fair fight and that's why it went that long cuz it was back and forth and I don't mind a fair fight
You can see my state in my name lol I flew from the 200s. I've seen my fair share in this game and my suggestion is to buckle up honestly nothing in this game is fair tbh. I'm in an alliance on gov rotation as well. Your a newish state and dealing with the same thing we deal with as well. There are some wastelands it's all t1s after awhile due to that. Most try to drag it out for points
There's alot of older states I've seen that are empty as well. And smaller like some of the newish states. I'm not defending anyone but I'm saying we all go through it with certain states it'll be OK at the end of the day just don't bite off more than you can chew and switch to t1s if it's gonna be a long haul.

Like might something that shows how big a state is, how much they can handle. Equal is not a term pns uses. Along with might doesn't equate strength along with not everyone in that state participates in wk. There's alotta factors. So might wouldn't work and plus they just did a recent wasteland king where it's easier to get rewards.

Iāve participated in a lot of Wastelands. Iāve watched a Lot from afar. Iāve been in thick of things, and Iāve been in some so boring Iāve actually gone back to bed!
Iāve faced states that outgunned us, Iāve been part of āthe mightiestā state in the match up.
They are never going to be 100% fair. And, honestly, is it fair to match Ichiās state, or Andrew6666ās, The Kingās, or any of the other multi-billion might playerās?
Losing isnāt horrible. The two biggest things are no governorās boxes to distribute, and no state boosts, other than fast comeback, for two weeks.
Winning isnāt all its cracked up to be either. Sometimes itās more of a headache than losing would have been.
In the end itās how you look at it and what you are prepared to do.
Remember when youāre a young state that there can be consequences for going up too fast in brackets. You have the starter tier for the first few wk, then Bronze (1000-1399 pts), Silver (1400-1799), Gold (1800-2299), Platinum (2300-2999), Diamond(>=3000), and Legend (top 9 from š)ā¦. Which bracket are you in?
We are in gold but the states we came up against I should have been in diamond
Why should they be in diamond? There are many states. If you donāt take another hub in diamond you drop 300 pts. Likewise in platinum you loose 200 pts. That goes up 100 points if you canāt secure your own hub. There are many beasts in every tier. If your state is having issues with a tier, try again next week. If youāre still having issues, maybe itās time to drop down a tierā¦
I've learned not to fall asleep straight away any more if i participate in wasteland. We got some strong people but every time i chose to go straight back to bed everything goes insane and I wake up with um alotta troops in the infirmary I couldn't keep up with lol but you 100 percent correct. Wasteland is the most unpredictable thing ever
I normally donāt go straight back to sleep, lol. I get comfortable on my couch and all bets are off, especially when I couldnāt sleep the night before cuz my brain wouldnāt stfu!
And this is the real problem because those states with all that might drop down tiers and they go for little states. Why should we have to drop down a tier because they're doing it so that they can bully the smaller states
But itās not bullying when itās what the game matches. It is based on a point system. IMO Developers did not like that states were napping. So they introduced the nataly frags to get states to fight more and be more active. The tiers are reward based. They move up to better rewards if they conquer another state. Just so happens you are the state being conquered to allow them to move up to a better tier.
It is bullying because they shouldn't be put up against states so small in the first place, but they're giving the opportunity to bully because they're allowed to drop their tier. They're allowed to go against states that are so much smaller
Itās isnāt bullying when everyone has very viable options.
You can chose to fight for your hub.
You can chose to let someone else have it.
You can chose to try to take another hub.
You can try to NAP. Most states weāve faced in the last almost two years were very willing to NAP and stuck by the agreement.
The system isnāt perfect.
You canāt please all the people all the time, and Iād say the vast majority are at least content with the way things are right now with Wasteland King.

I'm in an older smaller state and we are frequently the battlefield for the larger states - many of which are much younger. My last few wastelands have lasted the entire time. I've dropped tons of might each one trying to defend my state. It happens, and when it does, you find a way to work through it or just deal with the fact that you won't have boxes or titles and try again the next wasteland. It's the ebb and flow of the game.
However, If your state works together you'd be amazed at what you can accomplish. Just start to practice strategies and plan how much is acceptable losses. If it's a battle you can not win just don't fight. The other states may get bored. Eventually you'll get stronger and more able to compete. And you will see smaller states that you can beat.

Meeting the same states every WK can be really boring. Mixing up a little is refreshing, get to meet new people and make friends.

I have to agree. But I did grow fond of some states and got excited when we refaced them . We had the same state once for a whole month or 2 before lol
My state has had the same opponents every wk so far. Except I think the first one. We had 2/3 of the same though lol.
Luckily they've been good with agreeing to a nap. Good thing too because they both have mega whales and they could single-handedly take our hub lol.

Why would you think Natalie would be hard to level? Don't you have obsidian? It's the same thing. Same way you leveled him the same level her. She also takes perfect frags so you can also use those on her
Obsidian is easy to upgrade via Ace. You can only get Nataly frags from WK tier rewards and boxes. She also costs 2X Perfects.
I haven't used any perfect frags on her yet, but just like Wali He's the one I want upgraded lol
Wali is so much easier to upgrade than Nataly thanks to Ace.
Not everyone wants to kill themselves every wasteland to get her. She's definitely not easy and using double the perfects isn't worth it
I mean I try my best to get her frags from WK. But for awhile my perfect frags weāre going to Lady M. But since Iām a fighter I am looking at prioritizing Nataly more.

Wanted to repeat a question because it was not answered above. In our state, several did not get points for killing units on tiles last wk. Is this new? And why?!
The own troops which dies dont count on tile hits, only kills counts and if the opponent just have send t1s then it also dont gives points š«£
Logically one's own dead do not count towards the sacrifice points. But the killing points should count. And that was not the case with T1.
Let them check report again and send screenshots of the battle reports then to CS if the opponents were higher then t1s š they can see what went wrong and help with it š

I always send T1 to gather so anyone who kills my T1s won't get points so it sounded like you were talking about that. But like Farabella mentioned if you have the battlelogs showing T2+ units being killed but no WK points, you can send them to CS.
Just to be sure, were they killing foreign units in tiles? Because in state kill don't count either
It depends on which league youāre in as well. If youāre state is gold, bronze, or pro, you donāt get them as tier rewards or in governor boxes.

Can someone here answer a question for me??? For state open ( First WLK) how do they determine participating states. I know they are random for the most part, but For the first 1 or 2 do they go 1 up one down or +2/-2???
I don't have a specific answer but basically I believe it's relatively random from states that are in the same grade. The first one is going to put you in the starter grade. Which is absolutely the lowest you can be so it will be states that have opened around the same time as you.
To basically it'll be states going through their first or second wasteland

You get points based on what units of yours die. Death counts only when they fully die, go to deep heal, or alliance infirmary. They have to be killed while in a turret or attacking a turret or hub
So anything that ends up in your regular infirmary won't count

I have seen previously. Months ago in fact. When you occupy home hub and 1 enemy hub you have a shield. When you occupy a second enemy state at the same time the home shield drops.
I don't know how to express myself because my state hasn't created 2 hubs yet, in the future I could give a concrete answer, but I'm going to the range now to see the occupation rules, maybe I'll find something and I can post

I remember this, just realised that the rule, where the shield on home hub is cancelled once the home state is occupying 2nd state, is not applicable anymore. Wonder why it's changed without much announcement.

Not technically wrong. The rules have always stated the home hub is only shielded when you take 1 other hub but lost when you take 2 other hubs. Iāll look into this more.

You can kills and casualties (but not fastcomeback room) from tile hits. Casualties donāt happen until your main infirmary is full though

No one has ever admitted to it happening.
In theory, you will get coffers added to your state (that you cannot distribute until next time you secure your hub), and wont get any boxes or titles and the only boost will be the automatic Fastcomeback.

What is the fast come back rule? If you activate it before the end of WK, do the troops you lose after it is activated still show up? Also, do troops sent to deep healing figure into the fast comeback total?
Yes, it continues to accumulate after activation. Any troops that Die, or go to Deep Healing, or Alliance infirmary durint Turret/Hub attacks count. (Not turret rocket fire)
