So curious, if this is wrong spot ro ask I am sorry. I am not super savvy with discord, but have looked at post by players seeking alliances. Is it pretty much a lost cause to try and recruite to an older state. It seems like noone has an interest.

Most people moving is because their state isn't strong or active enough, they're looking for bigger places. I'm in an older state and we have no troubles recruiting. The big issue is offering someone something better than what they already have, and being able to sell it.
