while a super high population state with few to no big players seem to get awful vc matchups (top 30 might always on the bottom, by a decent margin)

firefly works differently than lairs, and care about how many units you can throw at it a lot more

that's because as the only rider on rider formation, casualties are calculated using your own stats only, and not joiners. Joiners just help spread the damage out and reduce your casualty percentage.

the issue is, due to just how little damage your rally did, the enemy casualty percentage is way too low

need bigger rally size and stronger joiners, unfortunately

if you have someone big in state, you can try borrowing them

I know that you get some automatic rss compensation when your sanctuary is heavily hit by an enemy. One of my sub accounts in the farm alliance was accidentally hit by a friend from the main alliance during the DOA, and it looks like it got well over 150 million food as automatic compensation (not from that friend). Do they usually give this much? (Well I lost about 4 million troops. Mostly T8s and some T9s. Maybe that's why.)

As my troop stats increase how should I adjust my lineup for lairs? I’m a shooter and I’m trying to determine the most effective lineup

Hard to judge without knowing your heroes and what you are already using. But either all shooter heroes or whatever gives the most stats. The better heroes will usually be at the top and you can click shooter specifically and it’ll put those above the rest

Your best shooter heroes if they are all level 5. If heroes are not all level 5 then your 4 highest level shooter heroes and then best troop attack hero

I’m assuming you are a fighter from the two you posted so you need to upgrade them either way to keep on increasing your gear stats.

Keep in mind gear refinement is based on star levels so if that’s something you are working on as well you might want to build evenly.

Also, like Hally said, the number is a little deceptive at first until you know how the game describes increases. So, you'll notice only a 40k increase with this upgrade. It's 160,000 overall, meaning adding up the 4 enhancements.
