Using mantis, Ramos, obsidian, eve, and Alexander, I was able to get one of them down to about 80% of their health one time. Replacing Alexander with Zephyr lets me get reeves and crosshairs down to 80% or so almost every time for 1-2 turns just because of the counterattack. But they heal so fast.

Yeah, you do have to pay for the first 10 frags in order to unlock her, but after that you don't have to buy anymore frags.

Perfect frags can be obtained in a few ways. Every other week, there is the Firefly event, and you always get perfect frags for completing one of the difficulties to level 30. That's the most consistent event to get them, probably.

Also, Nuka, if you are strong enough in your division to complete all the levels, gives you perfect frags.

Also, whenever you play your Joy coins in the Joy event, you have a chance to get a Hero box. Those boxes give you a choice to get various hero-related items, and perfect frags are one of the choices.

Then you'll get them in various other random events, and prizes for mini-games, etc.

I also buy the W.Card each week for $5. And that gives me 1 perfect frag every day.

Of course, that costs money, so that may not be an option for you. But for me, I need perfect frags right now, so I figure 7 frags for $5 in addition to all the other places I'm getting them, is an OK deal.

The issue is, I think we dont know when each stage ‘adds’ an extra trick or new color

If we knew there was a new ‘trick/feature’ for a certain stage, then it would be a bit easier to figure out what the trick is. I am assuming my ‘trick’ will hold true through all stages.
