if you want to save to L10 and skip 8/9 so there's no degredation then just keep going as is, with the one seed that's at L8, if it's not too far over then just let it slide back to top of 7, just before 8 and start saving again

PNS prices have become completely out of hand and even if you do spend hundreds of dollars it doesn't really get you much of anything. These curious that you have to pay hundreds of dollars just to get one piece of the curio or these stacking discounts where 54.00 gets you five frags and you can't even buy the other five. The gold supply kit is gone. Which makes timed tavern Basically useless. It will take a year to get 100 coins and you spend 10 coins and you get not even a single frag. Just boxes.

i personally don't think it's become more expensive per se, the cost to spend on events have been relatively stable, it's just that there's so much to focus on now

in simple terms, the menu keeps getting bigger and bigger and you need to buy the whole menu to make super good progress

however there are ways to still spend wisely / effectively
