I’ve done the equivalent of five 240pt hero quests for showdown and I’m not even halfway to the final reward in Hero Upgrade. This revamp is garbage. Claiming that it’s “easier” to reach rewards is objectively false. And shooter accounts arguably are hurt the worst given the heroes tied into the frags. I am now dreading every Improve Might event this week instead of looking forward to them.

this is the most overwhelmingly unpopular update i have seen in 4.5 years of playing

Big spenders have already all heroes +8, so they won't spend on these events. Moderate spenders won't spend something on daily progress to progress faster on heroes that take anyway 1-1.5 years to be maxed. And small spenders surely won't spend on that. I can't think of someone who's interested in spending that pack for the additional rewards. Maybe only new accounts, just arrived, with big wallet.

Honest, objective feedback. The new Hero Update rewards to pts ratio is way WAY too low. For example, I just used enough cards to reach what would have been top 10% in the previous version of the event. I do it every time, like clockwork. This event, I didn’t even clear the second phase to get the 4 frags. So instead of something like 8-10 frags I get 2. This feels terrible as a long time player of this game. It’s deeply disappointing. Please, please make an adjustment to make it closer to the previous rewards ratio.

Yeah same, I scored 3m points, I'll get 2 frags instead of 6-8. If you multiply this 9 times (9 events in the off week), it would mean 18 frags instead of 50-60. 18 frags every two weeks means you'll need 2 years to max out a zephyr/lady m. "Years" is not a reasonable timeline, very few would play the same game for so long

Same game was also one that "reset" the game by introducing new troops that made all previous troops/gear/research null and void. That definitely brought negativity to the game and made spenders quit 😅. So let's hope that doesn't happen here..........

The best way to fix it is to just reintroduce the daily rankings as before, with same scoring, so people will keep receiving the same amount of frags as before at the end of the event, based on % ranking. On top of that, the new packs can stay, for those who really want to go faster

Overall. The value of the rewards don't meet the amount of points required to do them.

They're likely forcing players to spend to get what previous rewards were offering for free and at a greater value.

They're also punishing those who are HQ40 above with the rewards - if you're HQ40+ you get solar panels, but no tubes. If you're lower, you can't hoard solar panels for a future update.

The removal of the ranking rewards also nullified the achievements for those who haven't completed them yet.

They're wanting us to either use up what we've hoarded or spend to to gain very minimal rewards

I would say no, it’s doesn’t compare and the rewards are inadequate, I have these heroes max so it doesn’t majorly effect me, but it really stunts the growth of free to play players, if this slides then I feel like they will move forward with adding a pay wall to everything. While PNS is still a business trying to make money, by slowly pushing out the f2p players will create a dead community with only season veterans and whales, I feel like adding pay walls to what was once a fair for everyone event will put them on a fast track to killing the game

For starters using 600 frags for 16 special frags is insane, I would say remove the mod boxes and perfect frags and the pay wall, add ace hero 4 IV cards to the free section, and at minimum half the requirements. Then if they need a pay wall add something better than what is currently offered, I do spend and that’s not worth it

So my solution for reference:

1.75m-->3m-->6m to 10m(so they have a tier to hike up if they want)

2 frags-->6frags-->8-12 cards depending how hikey they want

That's asking without asking for too much imo

1.75m points should give comparable rewards to completing all phases previously. (Which includes the hero cards from the 100% rank reward)
3m points should give comparable rewards to 50% reward
6m points should give comparable rewards to 5% reward
10m points should give comparable rewards to 1% reward
Get rid of the “IV” cards, just add some time tokens or extra III cards to the paid track (which should be a single purchase not broken into increasingly expensive phases)

With water wars I can handle having my mains in two different alliances/states having the same time slot. Can send troops to a building, join a rally, switch accounts, see how things are going there and if I need to send troops somewhere there too, check back in with the other one a few minutes later, rinse repeat. Tundra you're constantly needing to babysit multiple marches all the time on each account. I don't even like the idea of having to juggle two accounts in the same alliance at the same time, never mind two completely different battles.

The Devs in response to F2P players have ruined a lot of events and are actually unintentionally converting their steady micro spenders into F2P players, because everything in the game is geared more and more toward Macro spenders. Um, the Macro spenders need micro spenders. Micro Spenders are committed to the game and make war events more fun for the Macro Spenders. PNS, go back to the drawing board. You will have nothing but Macro Spenders OR F2P players soon (this will make events pretty boring for the big spenders)
