unless you are crazy/desperate, research cores are pretty useless until hq38
where you can use core preset to quick swap if you have a lot of leftover dust from not buying holos
they don't exactly save that much research time
I have 6 maxed research cores and 2 not leveled ones in preset, and it only shave like 3 days off a 120 day research

was actually kind of perfect timing for me, I had ran out of things to buy for a rebate I was doing got a few extra tickets had like 5m ac coins saved up.. all of it allowed me to push hq 38 to get rank 1 ace and still have tickets to fly out.. just overlooked match 3 league locking me in for awhile
