You can actually run both, you just needed to have the stamina saved up. If your issue is that you didn't have stam saved up and are now potentially missing the second that's another issue altogether.

A simple solution which is continuously suggested by players is to include stamina used on special event monsters as lairs for such events. But they won't. Since 1) that's double dipping into rewards 2) loss of profit from players who do buy stam packs.

Unless you're in an alliance of 5 players, i'm sure you can challenge your team to run lairs for each other while having others run halflings, if you try hard enough you'll get there. This is day 3 of halflings, hopefully most of you will already be close to getting the rewards you want. There is one day overlap, it's not really impossible if you have the stamina, which you say you have. My suggestion is go back to your aliance and channel all that energy to be solution focused. You could be running lairs or halflings now rather than channeling your energy here.

It's definitely doable because i've done it.

150 free points, 6 points per higher lair, that's only 25 lairs

if you have 5 people running lairs that's less than an hour

While much of what you have said isn’t incorrect, I think your perspective would differ if you weren’t in one of the highest activity - and highest spending - alliances in the entire game.
Many players have to hoard for months to even come close to having enough stamina to complete one event let alone two at the same time.

There are many whose alliances don’t hoard as well as they do and when they want to go for skins they are doing a lot of the heavy lifting themselves rather than as a complete team effort.

There should never be multiple events which have different rewards but require the same resource (stamina, ap, etc) to complete them running simultaneously

As a mostly F2p this is where I always remind folks to pick and choose their battles. Especially since they have been overlapping events more often lately. I ignored the halflings event. I am passively now doing the dragons event because I need to run lairs. There are f2p ways to get hq skins and ambiance. Occasionally even march skins if you are a hoarder. Skins are luxuries focus them real stats until you get a good stash for f2p skin. I was also pleasantly surprised on a spending aspect to see a $50 sanctuary skin in the mall recently. I am not unhappy because I've definitely learned to pick and choose with events. Also you definitely needed to to spend 20 bucks to get puppy and the 20 dollar march skin in a similar event 2 months later.
