i had a very hard time leaving my former alliance for the same reason. a number of people left and i was starting to notice the difference between having people i could bounce ideas off and not having them.
i was lucky enough to find a better fit in the same state

Issue with module mods is from level 8 to 10 you need 1400 boxes ($700) (for 100%) for 86% total atk boost. For the organ mods it's around 2k mod box ($1000) estimate, you can 450% focus atk or 225% troop atk

It was a tough fight, but the score was heavily favored to us, both in buildings and trucks. 320k to 140k at the 45 minute mark. Their 4 big riders were there I think and they gave me a run for my money but I was able to beat them down and fight them off. They ended up taking the log bases after I pulled from each and left my minis in charge to chase the truck one time. But the rest of the buildings I was able to keep or take back when necessary. They triple-teamed+rallied my footholds chasing the truck but I was able to hold it 2 of the 3 times they did it.

Can someone help me with the 4+1 mechanics? Using shooter formation, 4 shooters plus 1 rider hero, and a few riders in march to activate skill. I get worse results than using all shooters.

I never use riders or rider hero as a shooter

IF you are doing it, it needs to be a rider troop hero (mars or marlowe), not a rider hero like fox.
And I still wouldn’t bother myself.

Yeah as a rider I never found activating the 5th off type hero useful but in the big picture a single tactical skill for a few troops is not gonna significantly change anything at higher lairs. Maybe lower lairs an impact can be seen

Atk isnt the only value. In lairs, you are being hit. Not having def/hp means you are weak and die before you can attack enough to win.

Destroyer will be different results.
