There’s a weird case where shooters on high lairs sometimes do better and take less wounded in rider formation. The damage on destroyer is also different in different formations

the answer is situationally 1 could be better than the other
if you think of hp def and atk in terms of base stats rather than %

enemy atk is what you get hit for
your defense is a modifier the atk gets reduced by
the final value gets taken away from your current hp...

in 1 scenario the troop might live with a lot of hp to spare and defense is a clear winner to make them last even longer

in another a troop gets killed but only just so a little extra hp would carry them through to do another attack

a balance between the 2 is probably the most efficient without knowing the base stats of troops or which tier or tipe you will get attacked with or even how strong your attacker is

reinforce weaker people and always make sure you have a full march in the fort

it can take some trial and error to find the bases you receive the most points from reinforcing

Reinforce the weakest in your alliance to take all their points, be the strongest (or if you can solo it and get 100%, only one) in the fort, and if you have alliance members scattered far, rush to rein them after the ones in your hive to get those extras too

Hmm... I have 9-star +31 fighter modules and 8-star +20 shooter modules equipped. I also have 7-star +18 shooter modules ready to go for when I upgrade. I'm considering feeding my 8-star shooter modules to myfighter modules. That will get each of them them to +33 with a very small amount of overflow and give me 72% fighter stats (24%x3) at the cost of 102% (34x3) shooter stats and I'll just have to make some more 7-star shooter modules in the next few months. Worthwhile?
That will also match my shooter modules to my rider modules (and I won't be tempted to use modifiers on them too lol)
