I do understand fully. I accept that since I don’t spend I am at a significant disadvantage anyway. But in WK and Nuka this weekend, I lost almost entirely because of the apex advantage.
I’m also grumpy that one of my farms crafted an apex innoculator. Which has now been sitting unclaimed on that character for over six months now out of self spite. 😞

My shooter stats are solid for t9s. I need another 200-400% on my troop stats to be more competitive.

I never thought of taking a ss of the battle reports but I totally get this. It almost seems troop stats outweigh certain type of troop stats. For example I had a guy I lost to in nuka he had 400% more troop stats but I had 800% more shooter stats. Neither of us had apex and same size march. That very much confuses me.

I never used to look at stats (or understand them). But when I started being more consistently top20 and trying to move up, I needed to better understand where the differences were. So now I spend more time reviewing things after nuka. Taking the time to learn where others have found strengths, reflecting on strategy, seeing how those players ranked.
I was with some new and familiar beasts in nuka this week and just missed top10 mostly because I wasted time going for a couple boxes. But it gave me a chance for more data.

the hq grouping is a little insane for nuka, you have players with hq lvl 30+ with 150m might and then have lvl 19 with 300m might--seems a bit off

Would depend on how they structure the rewards. Players could sandbag to win top rewards at a lower tier but then they would have no rewards the next week. Would that make more sense than trying to fight for rewards at your "natural" tier? Another way they can do it is introduce the idea of a "season", which gives weekly ranking points for whatever tier you're in. Then after a month (or however long), give out rewards based on those tier ranking points. That would reward players who don't sandbag.
