So I am still wondering if we are confined to our alliances until the end, in order to receive rank rewards... But seeing how dirty they've done us with this Box bait and switch, I DEFINITELY don't think they're on the player's side.

I know we all want the epics that were promised and advertised to us for two months, but largely, this is about the principle and how you treat your player base. Your PAYING player base.

This is insanely unfair. We merged top alliances into monster alliance to compete for top rewards. Been out of our home alliances for months and sacrificed. To suddenly change rewards to nothing more than normal event is demoralizing to say the least. There is no way in hell we will ever participate in this again. It would literally not even cost devs a penny to give back the epic boxes. I suggest everyone blast CS with complaints. Especially top might big spenders.

I did the same TT, told my GM I was done if they didn’t reverse. We spend thousands a day in LMF and are in the final 8 and they are trying to go back on something that has been showing for months. If it was an edit made in round 1 I could accept it but damn it’s been a long time now to decide and change it.

OK, I had to boot a small account of mine for WK. It was with us from start to Top 16 finish, scored points and all. Was eligible for rank rewards. I just rejoined my alliance with this farm.

I do not see where you can use the tokens as currency in the shop, or exchange them. Do we know if this is something that is only going to be an option once the tournament ends? or are they going to open a new shop once the tournament ends? I tried to read back to see if this question was answered but I did not see anything after 20 minutes of reading lol sorry.

We shall see. At the time we had one person telling us the rewards were personal and only for top 16 players, then they switched the boxes down, so we made the decision to play with the rest of our state in WK, since isolating ourselves was detrimental to everyone else.

One piece of feedback that I'd like to give about tournament. Being locked down in one alliance, unable to move for statewide events was difficult.

I think the main ask beyond the constraints of moving during tournament and the length of it would be (and it’s not just this but in general):

These instructions should be 100% obvious to the reader and the consumer, the captains, the mods, the everyone what the exact rule is. Time and time again, we get ambiguously worded information and it leads to confusion and frustration. I didn’t know for certain but I read the rules to mean alliance and personal rewards for everyone that finished in the top 16 alliances. Otherwise it was nonsensical. I probably would have had us lose well before the top 16 alliances because best we get for disruption and inflexibility is a temporary hq skin? That would have been cheap and stupid. And the top 16 overall players wouldn’t care about a rare let alone epic design so it had to be intended for everyone in the top 16 alliances. That was my read. But I understand the other’s interpretation as well. This shouldn’t happen with a marquee event. Maybe they should run the wording and the description by the players so we can ask these questions in advance. Or at least make it easy for the mods to field the questions, get consistent answers from the captains, etc. All that’s happened now is we have some people that deserved or earned rewards that may not or probably won’t get them. Which sucks. Ok rant over.

Im not sure this is the reason why.. it sure appears to be the case .. but Im assuming the reason why the rules are vague and unclear is so that they can always change the meaning behind the words and leave room for changes mid-event.
It should be the case when they dont have a clear vision of how the event will unfold.

For instance not explaining the top 16 reward system and how it exactly works. Putting shiney Epic nano prints to attract participants and depending on the turnout change the rewards/rules to fit the income/costs and gift 200 diamonds and 1x 5m speed ups as an apology for a misunderstanding.

I know from experience mods have asked repeatedly to have wording and gameplay run by them to be able to ask and also answer questions before an event happens…the answer has always been no. There is zero transparency, and even for those who work for 37games, different levels have different levels of communication and the communication between those levels is appalling.

Yup. Nothing is ever explained clearly and has always been left for interpretation or to be “discovered together”. Which then I get triggered by 😑.

Half the time the details have not been confirmed and when questions are asked for clarification, there’s a delay in reply and the reply itself still isn’t clear. By then the event is over - or the damage has been done - only to get that “it’ll be improved on next event” 🤦🏻‍♀️ (which still runs the same course of lack of detail and uncertainty).

Overall the best course is to be restrained to whatever alliance you’re in at the start of the event until the event/reward stage is complete to be sure you get the rewards. Although that does interfere with other events which is frustrating.

Mods have been eagerly (and frustratingly) trying to get things improved. But most of them have been ignored - and we still frequently argue to get things done since it’s obvious that players are getting annoyed by the lack of clarity too.

First time Reservoir event.. Is it basically fights for the different locations and occupying them? Also says troops returned safe and sound.. Do we just heal injured troops and none killed throughout event?

Basically, you'll need to occupy buildings for 3 minutes. Be sure to pay attention to where the water trucks are going. Troops will go to the hospital but you will get them back after match is over.
If you don't want your base to be hit, stay in mud. I suggest finding a map of the res wars so you know what to kind of expect. Good luck 🌹

Guessing a stack of relocates is good to have?

You're welcome, normally it will automatically spawn you into the mud when you get into the match, unless you're a little late to get in. I wouldn't worry about relocating since you'll want to reign more than 1 building and if you relocate your troops will leave where they are reinforcing and you'll need to rush back in. Save relocations/save diamonds
And as long as you are in the mud your base cannot be attacked but the buildings in the pic can be. But protect your base so you have the troops to fight

The lead of the building will have an option to super rein for 2k diamonds, if you're against a much stronger alliance I suggest requesting a nap
