I did! I made igloos out of plastic containers at first for all of them. I got 3 adopted. Then when I got the pony and converted the shed, the back yard hobos got a kitty door. There is heat and cold in there now. The 2 in the front still have their igloos

This dog is Buddy. I have 2 other dogs. However Buddy was kidnapped twice. He was the most wanted dog in my neighborhood for a little over one year! I rescued him from a neighbor who severely neglected him by leaving him locked in her house for 1 month. I had to go to court to get him because the cops did not believe I rescued him they thought I stole him. After over a year dealing with court the 2nd judge who was to try the case threw it out of court because he could see from all of the evidence that I infact did rescue Buddy. The previous owner told the DA she left someone to care for him when she left, but the DA had no name of this alleged person. The DA also had no documentation from the previous owner it was her dog.
I had medical records had gotten him surgery for removal of a hernia and neutered, had his shot record, had his dog license and he was also chipped. Which the cops could have asked me to see proof of microchip, but they didn't. It was another neighbor who kept stealing him, not the original owner.
There is no law in the USA that protects an animal from a neglectful or abusive owner to permanently remove them. I hope to make a law Buddy's Animal Law to do that one day.
