I never expected Anbernic to deliver Thor level specs for sub $100. That's unrealistic. When people started guessing T820 when they were at the render stage. I was one of the first ones who pointed out the render images had no fan. T820 was never going to happen. That chip is too hot to release without a fan.

Most people guessed T618 or T620 (including myself probably still too hot to use without a fan) but neither of them has no HDMI out and that's how Anbernic is handling the dual screen instead of treating both displays as one long display.

The chip that's in it was never one anyone's radar. Anbernic's release of this thing is also to blame. They also shouldn't have shown any 3DS gameplay. Anbernic shares in the blame of getting people's hopes up in how they marketed the release. "Can you guess what powers it?" No anbernic, no we cannot because you got our hopes up.

That would be a bit excessive for my purposes, considering the Thor is 4 times more expensive (nearly 5 times when there are nice coupons going) due to extra taxes in my EU country. Otherwise, it'd still be 3 times more expensive for up to PS1. I've already got a 557 for GameCube, PS2, a modded 2DS XL, and a switch for all the other gaming purposes.
