I've been checking the stock of the mini v2 because I was curious if these were really "limited" or not.

There appears to be less than 176 units left in stock on their website. They have been keeping 300 units (same as flip2 and I assume others) in stock since the relaunch. This morning was the first time I've seen the minis in stock get lower

Other than for a game console that would completely obsolete the previous version and partially discontinues support of the old console, I really don’t mind yearly upgrades. If anything I like it bc the older model goes on fire sale. I remember the $240 steam decks on here as well as the $400 Allys right before their revisions dropped

On one hand, yes just don’t drop it, on the other at least with phones there are many different case options that don’t add excessive bulk to the device and provide good drop protection. Way fewer options with these devices
