I think this grip is pretty nice if you're mostly using handheld. My annoyance is that I plan to dock semi often. Also it covers the kickstand, and even though it stands on it's own it's not particular stable (pretty easy to tip it backward)

I'm struggling to figure out which rails are grindable, since holding in the R button to charge the power jump slows you down quite a bit so it's a matter of finding that optimal sweet spot where you start charging it right in time to jump when you want to jump. It's tough for sure.

It’s not even an entry point. This is very basic and pretty primitive and exists on pretty much any platform and application.

It’s not unlike the Tony Hawk exploit for Xbox 360 where it can lead to a localized exploit and then something bigger down the road but with modern sandboxing and user space controls it is highly unlikely to go further then it is now.

We may know the components and such, but finding the door is gonna be very hard for a while. It will a fun challenge to see, but that kinda what it is rn, a challenge

Possibly, there have been running exploits for PS4 and Seeries.

The biggest issues are the user space controls and sandboxing has gotten so good over the years since Xbox and Xbox 360 that causing overflow exploits are pretty much nonexistent.

Even then, they will get software patched out immediately and without games on cartridges it is going to be super difficult to find one that sticks and enables any sort of usable mod

My guess is that people will try and target a really old Switch 1 game and try to break whatever sort of internal translation layer is running.

The game dev route is a potential issue, but that’s what sandboxing is all about.
No gamedev should be able to cause overflows that spill into the system level anymore

The screen is fine. It’s not mind blowing but it’s also not “bad”. It looks colorful and sharp enough. Maybe brightness and contrast are mid but I haven’t felt it took away from my gaming.

Playing it on 85” 4K tv last night was a blast. So many little details in the kart animations and tracks, etc.

I think it’s because some games are running at 720p in a 1080p panel

They need to enable the toggle to run S1 games in the “docked” mode so you don’t have bad scaling issues

I'm confused, does the Switch 2 do 120fps 1080p docked? Or does it ONLY do 60fps no matter what when docked

My TV is a 120hz TV and it works on my Xbox and (back when I had a) PS5, but Switch just says 60hz

I think some games will do 120 1080 if enabled.

By default though I think it’s 4k60. At least that’s what my C1 showed in the on screen display

I have to admit, the switch 2 8bitdo page saying controllers are now supported does not give me ANY info on what controllers and how to update. I've tried 3 so far from their website on PC and macOS and all say "version 0.00" or "reload" lol

Oh nintendo switch 2 is using less watts but being powerful I know nintendo didn't want to underclocked the device too much like switch 1

So they balance the power and battery life

Napkin math: played Fantasy Life i until battery drained 10% - that was 16 minutes. So an estimated 2 hours 40 minutes (probably a little less).
