More like “never”, you don’t do something like that unless you’re remarkably dumb and therefore willing to risk not only the possibility of someone being at one of the houses and opening the door to you trying to steal their package (which for 1 house alone sure that’s unlikely, but once you start trying to take every package similar in size that’s dropped off by that truck then it becomes way more statistically likely), but also doing so for something completely different from a Switch 2.

Hell, you could potentially end up stealing something completely worthless for stealing if it’s just something like a blanket or frame or a piece of furniture that the person puts together themselves.

Yup, the only trucks anyone looking to do something like that is logically gonna be Nintendo’s own trucks for distributing the consoles, and even then there’s next to no guarantee that they’ll actually outright have “Nintendo Switch 2” labeled on the sides of the truck.

So yeah, definitely fearmongering. The alternative is either too stupid to make sense, or it’s outright a very exceedingly rare inevitability where it’s someone who’s in the know on shipments and managed to find out the details for one of the orders.

double buffer means it holds two rendered frames in memory at any given time, vsync means the game speed is synced to the vertical refresh rate of the monitor, which would be 60 hz in the switch 1 case. those two things combined means if it misses a frame, it has to wait for the next monitor refresh to draw the next one. so whenever it doesnt hit 60 it drops to 30

I like it a lot.

It’s big, in a way the Switch 1 wasn’t. Much less toss-able if that makes sense. The ergonomics kinda suck, the stick and button are in line and you hit the stick hitting buttons like an Ayaneo.

The console feel is soft touch so in like a decade it’s gonna be all sticky and shitty

The screen is gorgeous, UI is slick and snappy. Everything on the controls front feels a notch above the OLED. Buttons and triggers all feel great

Top USB has already come in handy

My only criticism ... There's no real Nintendo magic so far. Weird critique, hard to explain, but it's literally a better switch. In that sense it feels like the most underwhelming Nintendo launch ever. Not a negative by any means, Switch 1 is my favorite console of all time.

Maybe mouse controls will feel fresh. Haven't tried yet.

I haven't played handheld yet. we've gotten so many good ergo handhelds since Switch 1 debuted. You can feel it.
