anyone know how I can use the 64bit Retroarch version of pcsx rearmed?

I downloaded it with the core downloader, but it doesn't show up as an option when I set the emulator to use for PSX

you will need linux/ubuntu to add roms to the EXT2 partition for roms, one down side for this OS

cool, edited the es_systems.cfg file and added pcsx_rearmed as a core under retroarch

also managed to hide .png files under pico-8 so my menu doesn't get clogged up with every game I ever try in splore

no no , this makes a ext2 partition readable by ubuntu/linux, so you can make a usb boot of ubuntu and get full access, unfortunitly it doesnt look like the OS supports secondary SD card , Im just bringing the OS to the system , im not the creator so I can only advise on what I know, its not for everyone

I think it's Jelos that allows both cards to be used for roms and merges them if you use format the second sd card as ext4

ok so i flashed arkos onto the tf card labelked os but i think that was the one that actually had the roms on it... etcher kept acting up as well only last time it didnt say to reinsert the sd

I've tried multiple sandisk cards 32GB and 16GB. All do not work in TF2.

If it's a brand new card, you should let ArkOS populate the proper folders in the TF2 slot. There should be an option that sets it to search for games in TF2.

Dropping AmberELEC with OC for dreamcast psp ect

Will come with scripts to run in PORTS which is just one click install

the scripts are for VOL FIX and VOL UP/DOWN FIX

Drop the fixes into PORTS folder on SD2 and press 'B' to install NOT 'A'

--------------------------------------unofficalOS isnt really viable unless you use linux/ubuntu on the daily, but Its proof of running and works on the system, AmberELEC will have ROMS access on windows mac and ubuntu

unzip zipx and flash the IMG etcher wont flash zipx directly , I shall make a smaller version when i can get a WORKING 8gb card 🥲 , download will be around 6gb , dont sweat it, it will work , you shouldnt have anything smaller than 16gb for OS SD CARD anyway

i noticed that the ArkOS logo at boot does the offset since the latest ArkOS update. I noticed it in your video too. Maybe something in ArkOS config? it doesn't do that on the stock OS.

It's something very minor but curious if there's a tiny compatibility optimization that's missing

My R36S gave me a fright. I thought it died. I tried booting it and it didn't boot. It showed a distorted image saying voltage:3.505V. Then it shuts off. I tried swapping to the stock card and same thing. I plugged in the power cable and it booted up fine. I guess it was a low battery moment.

Looks like the screen res is updating before the boot sequence is completed.

IMO , with no offence to christian as hes helped me alot , I find that it has many more options available to me that are very useful , and it has the overclock feature which is a toggle on/off and many many more themes which really caters to me , lots of tinker options in there , if you have a spare card, feel free to run it and see what you think

yeah im not saying GOW will run full speed by any means, but it should smooth out games that have some frame drops to a more playable state , its no mirical

Dont run overclock , will run the rk3326-rg351mp-linux-oc.dtb.conf and will white screen , trying to find a (no reflash) option of restoring to boot, as it will restore overclock when told to run correct dtb , need to find the saved config to change it to allow this, DC emulator option does have a max performance option available i suggest using that

better just to avoid toggling it on , dreamcast does have a dedicated max performance option so overclock isnt really needed , psp was running amazing for DBZ games, swear it was 60fps, not sure if native or not at 60 but it was buttery

No, none of them are silent!

But they are much less noisy, the tactile feel is great!
Just by placing it on the table the buttons are pressed! 😅

i didn't think it could, but discord has no easy way to search within this chat only.

my wife has no clue i got this for her. last night she said something about wanting to play zelda andsaid "yeah the one on the gamecube i think?" 👀 if she doesn't like it, i'll keep it and get her something else, i'd be happy with keeping this at my office, or letting the kiddo play on it. $45 was a great price for what it does.

I'm playing Saga Frontier 2 now, a beautiful game that filtered me as a child, got further in it than I ever did yesterday. Also figured out the CRT shaders in RetroArch, crt-gdv-mini.glslp is phenomenal for PSX, especially 2D sprite based games.

I loved it as a kid, but also remember rage quitting at some point and having to start over because I missed a party member. I'd recommend a guide (maybe some spoiler free one if you can find it) for recruitable team members. Might be other missables too, don't remember.

arkos is a fork of elec, arkos is made in a specific way for specific needs ect, elec elec is the base , amber is also a fork , in the end, they all do the same more or less, how ever arkos doesnt have alot of compatible themes for example where as amberelec has alot , and has somewhat of a download store for themes if you will, it all really depends what you want out of it , hence saying flash both of them and try both and see what you preffer, I only dropped the other OS's so people have options available to them , not to compete or any such thing

So I have a wifi adapter attached, I went into wifi, hit the + button, chose a station, entered password, then clicked the X to get back to the menu, and Update says there is no network connection. Am I doing something wrong?

Updating the system seems to have solved the wifi issue from earlier. All good. Scraping works. Nice.
