just played Ikaruga on dreamcast with frame skip of 1 and it seemed pretty fine to me
trying trizeal now

I am a bit sceptical about 3s considering there are already two models that share the same shell. 2s was the second model of (slightly inproved) shell. So I think they might rather do something new.. My hope is that when they reveal it, and it's bigger than rp3+, there will still be one 3+ left for me in stock 😀

Yeah the max 3 is about as large as I would want to get before it becomes “may as well go x86”
And it’s roughly the size of a PS vita

Also not a fan of big x86 handhelds, because if I want to play home I just use chair and a bigass screen which nobody else can use..

Have to check that one.. but the sheer size of these things is disuading me, I wouldn't have a use case. Up to PS2 will soon be handled by cheaper and rp3like size devices, and for new AAA games I have a PS, instead of squinting at 10inch handheld. And also it's for the good because the x86 hanhelds are really expensive..
