Maybe a silly question on the spot grid trading bots, but when an order is filled, does the bot then place a new order automatically? I set up a test bot on TIA with 10 grids - does that mean that as orders get filled, the bot will keep setting up new ones to always maintain 10?

Also, another question is that for a 10 grid setup, the bot put down only 2 buy orders and then 7 sell orders - is that from something in an algorithm (why not even buy and sell orders?)?

And another question is why only 9 orders for a 10 grid setup? Is it including my original entry price?

okay there has been mis-information and conflicting statements about the staking requirement to the claiming process of the INJ rewards from the trade and earn program.

I'll explain the question using an example. This is my first week participating in the T & E program.........So, on trade and earn dashboard, at the bottom of the pending rewards section. Using the rewards earned from last night that went from active to now pending. The question is referring to earnings of less than 25INJ per week.
If we earned say 9.5 INJ, and it shows that right under the "As of 08 Nov 04:00:00" if I hover over the first little info/ "i" button right beside the estimated dollar value of the rewards it says "stake a total of 9.5 INJ to receive the full amount"

Then I've been told by @loud copper that we don't need to stake any amount if our rewards are under 25 INJ. Can you shed some light on this? Either way the website is confusing. The way it reads is that if I have a reward of 9.5 INJ then In order to get the full 9.5 INJ, I need to stake 9.5 INJ, is this correct? Also, wondering about the update of the website to reflect eligibility for the OLP program. It was 1% of and then changed to 0.25% but the UI was still saying "not eligible" for those amounts from 0 to 1% even though all accounts from 0.25% to 0.99% are all eligible under the new requirements.

My question is now this, for the initial qualification of the OLP program, how is it calculated? because as an example, today I traded 0.22% of total BUT it still showed me as green for eligibility..... this leads me to ask, how is the 0.25% calculated? Is is a rolling average so for example, the 0.25% of CUMULATIVE volume traded over past 3 days? this must be the way. as an example.

lets say total volumes and user trading % is as follows,

I don't think you have to stake if the amount is less than 25 INJ (your rewards). I've always received the rewards Wednesdays on a 2-week lag (so the rewards that says "as of 08 Nov 04:00" will be paid out two after that date). But they do show up.

Trouble is as with other Helix Rewards programme unless you're a whale there is very little reward or incentive to give it a go. Currently your LP bot would of needed to of done 10,000USD to recieve just 1INJ and 10TIA. Wonder if there could better way to cap rewards so it not based on your initial buyin and to encourage new users ? Some people are also very cautious of sending like 50-100k to a brand new bot contract. Cheers

That's not possible, and you couldn't have used Cosmos app on our products (Hub/Helix). If you used any other product to make transactions using your Ledger on Injective using the Cosmos app - you can't use that address on our products.

The UI is incorrectly displaying eligible for lower than 0.25% but the volume contribution figures are correct. We have a fix ready that we will push out soon to correct the dashboard. An address won’t show up in scores or rewards until after it’s qualified since there is no score or rewards until after qualification

I'm playing around with leverage trading on Helix to get a feel for it. On GMX (on Arbitrum), using leverage increases the position size. For example, I can leverage $10K worth of Eth 5x, so my position size is $50K.

On Helix, when I trade with leverage in the equivalent scenario, it creates a order for a total position size of $10K, by using $2K of margin. I don't want to use margin, I want to increase my position size. Anyone know how to acheieve the same effect that GMX provides?

1.) I leverage $10K at 5x
2.) It creates a new position worth $10K total, based on margin of $2K

Instead of the above, I want to create a new position worth $50K ($10K x 5X leverage). And there should not be an additional $8,000 remaining for other trade

I found out why my triggers got randomly canceled! is cause slippage, by default trigger slipage set at 0,5%, which makes no sense AS ITS WAY MORE IMPORTANT FOR STOP LOSS TO WORK THAN NOT AND GET LIQUIDATED, slipage control NEEDSTO BE REMOVED FROM TRIGGERS ASAP, triggers are dangerous now and it makes me not use them and trade much smaller size and thats very bad for dex

All subaccounts fall under one injective address - So if you traded using subaccounts you are still eligible

all subaccounts belong to a single address so if you connect the wallet on Pyth, you get into account all of your sub accounts under your INJ address

Yes, it’s cool, but what I also like is the small commissions because during the bull season, transactions are expensive and in most popular networks, transactions are expensive and Injective is a good solution for new projects that want to launch during the bull season.

I made a long position with 10x leverage but my unrealized profit is only calculated from the margin (margin * change in price) and not from the total value (margin* 10 *change in price). Shouldn’t the unrealized profit be calculated from the total value? Thanks.

Example:

If your margin is 1000 USDT and leverage = 10.

Your size (total) = 10.000 USDT

When the mark prize goes up 1 %. Your profit = 0.01 x 10.000 = 100 USDT.

Your Unrealized PNL % is then (100 / 1000) * 100% = 10 %.
And profit 100 USDT.

The oracle price will initially be calculated based on an 8 hour exponentially weighted moving average of the last traded prices taken each minute of the last day.

When PYTH officially launches, the oracle price will be set to the Binance spot price so that the market converges upon the spot price upon launch. If the PYTH launch occurs prior to the passing of this proposal, then the market will become a regular perp market, with the oracle price being set to the Binance spot price of PYTH.

you get your initial funds + 1.98 which is profit. Lets say you opened position with 10$ and your pnl profit was 1.98$. Once you close it after making this profit you will get 11.98 USDT in total (example)

Then whats the point of leverage? When using leverage ( lets say 10x for example ) and margin of 20€ the total power would be 200€ if I am not wrong. Shouldnt the profit be amplfied by the leverage too?

if you use 10x leverage your profit is amplified yes, if you get 1$ profit for a price movement of 5% (example) with leverage of 1x, if you have 10x leverage you would basically get 10$ for the same price movement, explained in a very simple and basic matter.

But if you made a profit of 2$ and it is pointed out that your profit is 2$ when you close your position, your profit is not multiplied then. The PnL shows your profit at the current market price of that asset.

If you want to make higher profit you need to have a higher percentage move

Also it depends on your margin, how big was the position overall
