You can transfer your KINJ over to the injective chain and delegate them/use them to propose new markets, vote on proposals (based on delegated amount). Rewards won't be based on your injective chain balance, they will rather be calculated on your pre-staked amount/day you started pre-staking as well as APY boosts

Yes, the boosts are there to incentivize our users to stake and interact with the injective chain so that we can ensure that every element of our chain is working properly before mainnet. This APY will essentially be multiplied with the number of days the competition will last. Upon mainnet, you will be able to stake your INJ tokens on our chain and get a standard APY (with no boosts). That being said, when we go on mainnet and you stake your INJ you will receive an APY X (let's suppose that X is 10%) and then if you leave your tokens for 1 year staked you will get that total 10%. For instance, if you stake 1000 INJ upon mainnet with that theoretical APY after exactly one year you will get 100 INJ as rewards so you will have a total of 1100 INJ.

Basically, when you pre-staked, you sent your ERC20 INJ to our deposit manager and at the same time we minted the same amount in Kovan INJ. These ERC20 are secure in the deposit manager and lever left Ethereum. That being said, your funds are safe and also the rewards in the end will be based on the pre-staked amount, the day you pre-staked and the completed boosts and they will be accrued directly to your ethereum address πŸ™‚

Of course. I'll reach out to our tech guys to see if your GBP/BTC and LINK/BGP pairs were successfully proposed. If you deposited more than 2 days ago it could be that the proposals (1) did not reach quorum or (2) did not have the required amount of INJ deposited. In both of these cases the tokens get burned but as we said it doesn't really matter as it's just testnet tokens. However, the team is voting on a daily basis to all proposals now so to ensure there won't be any more token burns

Yeap. The team minted these tokens to ease the process of governance and also account for some lost tokens which were burned. Tokens can be burned if (1) governance proposals do not get the minimum amount of INJ (1000 INJ) to pass to the voting stage or (2) the proposal does not reach the quorum. The injective chain balance and your KINJ won't matter in the end for rewards. Rewards will be based on the pre-staked amount, the day you pre-staked and boosts completed. This reward formula ensures that all stakers will receive rewards at the end of the phase regardless of validator downtime so even if you get slashed it doesn't really matter.

Practically yes, but not for this phase. Basically when you delegate to a validator you can claim rewards and then re-delegate and these rewards are basically what you're getting from the staking. However, for this testnet phase rewards will not be given based on that, your rewards will be calculated based on the formula above in order to (1) ensure that users will leave the phase with rewards regardless of validator downtime (due to slashing) (2) ensure that the tokens that got burned in governance won't affect users either. That would not be the case upon mainnet however, as you would have to choose your validator claim rewards, re-stake etc.

You can add more INJ but even though this amount will be shown in the pre-staked amount, it will not be included in the pre-staking rewards (0 to 12 days) neither the early adopter bonus (0 to 2 days). Only you initial pre-staked amount will get these rewards so the new INJ tokens you deposit will get the APY from the day you pre-stake them and not from the beginning.

The injective chain balance is actually irrelevant with the reward formula. Your rewards will be calculated at the end of the phase based on the pre-staked amount, the day you pre-staked, and the boosts completed. When this phase is over, the pre-staked amount (safe in the deposit manager) will return to you and you will also receive awards based on the parameters I stated above directly to your Ethereum address. The rewards from validators don't really count and that's to ensure that stakers will be rewarded regardless of validator downtime

Well, if you withdraw any amount back to Ethereum, you essentially forfeit your rights for rewards (even if it's 1 INJ). The phase will finish when the team tests every element of the injective chain and ensures everything is working properly for Mainnet (which will happen in Q2). That being said, you'll either wait for the phase to finish before withdrawing your coins (to get the rewards) or you withdraw them back now but essentially all of them, as there's no point in keeping half of them in since you'll not be taking any rewards if you withdraw any amount of ERC20 coins back to Ethereum. With regards to how we'll proceed before Mainnet, we will provide more information on that with detailed guides but essentially you'd have to withdraw the tokens from the deposit manager back to your Ethereum address and then send them through our Peggy Bridge to essentially get them on our native chain. I think that answers all your questions, if not let me know!

That's your proposal and it seems that it hasn't reached quorum and that's why your tokens got burned. However, that does not affect you as the injective chain balance won't matter in the end for rewards. For a proposal to reach quorum, 33% of the total staked coins must have voted in which means that the result of the proposal is considered valid and then > 50% of the votes must be Yes for the proposal to pass and be accepted.

it does answer it. people got +1000 inj like it says, and it's for performing tasks that provide you with apy boosts. rewards in the end will not reflect inj balance in the staking dashboard, but dependent on the prestaked amount and the total apy (baseline + boost earned). given that, you can consider the +1000 to be monopoly money

In order to create a new denom, you would have to deploy a smart contract and mint an ERC20 token. There is website which allows you to mint a token without writing code here: https://vittominacori.github.io/erc20-generator/create-token/

Define the fields as follows:

Token Name (The token you would like to propose, e.g. INJ): INJ

Token Symbol: INJ

Token Decimals: 18

Initial Supply (Any positive integer, e.g. 1000): 1000

Token Type: StandardERC20

Network: Kovan Test Network

Click confirm and then in the next screen click the button β€œAdd to Metamask” and approve the transaction. Lastly, there is a contract address below the token name which you have to copy and provide it to the requested field during the denom creation.

I guess a possibility is creating it on a "pure" metamask account, but I get the same problem, that Ledger dont get a sign option, when trying to transfer some of the eth I got from team on Kovan testet, to the metamask account to try it there. You can essentially mint anything right now (even a coin that doesn't exist). However, upon Mainnet proposed pairs must reflect reality and they must also be possible to integrate. For instance, if we were on Mainnet now and you proposed a BSC asset spot market it wouldn't be possible because we don't have cross-chain integration with BSC yet.

Well, you transferred your INJ from Binance to a MetaMask wallet and then you pre-staked your INJ to our deposit manager in Ethereum (your INJ never left Ethereum). At the same time, we minted KINJ (test asset) equal to the amount you deposited so that your funds remain secure in the deposit manager while you participate in the phase. Then the KINJ were bridged through our Ethereum bidirectional bridge and now you have INJ and interacting with the Injective chain, as such you are able to delegate/vote/unbond etc.

No worries, ask away. The INJs are stored in a deposit manager which is also audited by Certik as to provide assurances that your funds will remain secure. This amount became instantly available to you (in KINJ), you didn't have to wait a week and yes you transferred your KINJ over to the Injective Chain. You would had to wait a week if you wanted to withdraw to Ethereum (aka move the funds from the deposit manager contract back to your Ethereum address), which if you do you forfeit your rights for rewards at the end of the phase.

You probably see the Injective Chain balance to 0 because you have your tokens delegated to a validator. If you unbond your tokens from a validator they will show in your injective chain balance but right now they are staked with them. You can transfer the KINJ you see over to the Injective Chain and utilize them. If you are talking about the 1000 KINJ, they are test tokens that the team minted to ease the process of governance and generally allow you to test our chain further. Rewards will be calculated in the end based on the pre-staked amount, the day you pre-staked and the boosts completed the KINJ and INJ don't matter and have no value.

Yeah, I just checked it and unfortunately it didn't reach quorum which means that the tokens were burned. For a proposal to reach quorum, 33.4% of the total staked coins must have voted in so basically since we have around 19m coins staked you would need more than 6m votes but your proposal had 48k.

If you are able to withdraw (7 days from depositing), there is no waiting period except mainnet ethereum tx time. Note that if you withdraw any of your staked tokens, you will forfeit your eligibility to receive any and all rewards you have accrued and continue to accrue in the staking competition
