is it possible to alter the avatar's jump ability in-game to not consume any stamina which is 5 by default? I'd like to set player stamina drain to 0 but this still poses an issue. [Windows10/xbox version]

there isnt a way to do it on windows/ xbox, but on steam u can modify that using a mod

the only thing u can tapper with is the fall damage distance setting and the actual stamina bar itself for drain

personally the best fix is to increase how much stamina the players get per point to et them have a bigger stamina pool

the issue is that the unofficial servers for console are hosted by a 3rd party and the third party has to get the rights to deploy the servers

and wildcard has always been slow on getting all the rights through even when it game to xbox and the release of updates there has been tons of issues on that also

@stark warren would it be possible in the future to have a server side setting to disable the gen 2 world buffs independently from each other, instead of an all or nothing option. as you have most likely seen with higher rates some of the buffs dont play nice when your rates get too high.

Hello is there anyone here that has worked with spawn container code before and is experinced in that department?
I was trying to add the 3 new creatures to our fjordur server. I have managed to get sinomacrops and Amargasaurus to spawn but for whatever reason, using the same type of code just with the Dinopithecus_Character_BP_C it refuses to spawn them.

I was wondering if its because theyre considered a pack dino and have different spawn container code?

Ok, if you have the program open and try to edit files outside of it, when it closes it will load the data saved in the profile data to the files in the directory and overwrite any edits you have done.

So if you make edits to any of the inis or files in the directory make sure asm is closed in windows and in task manager

-Make sure the game is closed

• go to Steamapps>common>ark>shootergame>saved>config>WindowsNoEditor
  -Open up GameUserSettings.ini (will open with notepad but notepad++ is better)
  -Find the section labelled [ServerSettings]
• Add OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5 right underneath that

If you're looking for the full 150, and not just a corrected override, also edit DifficultyOffset- it should already be in the file, under [ServerSettings]- and set it to 1 (this same value can also be edited with the difficulty level on the menu screen. It cannot be set past 1- to raise the level cap past 120/150 you must add the INI line)

Then, in game, do a wild dino wipe with the command destroywilddinos to get the higher levelled ones to spawn

You'll need to stop the server before modifying the GUS.ini file. And you also may want to add "-ForceRespawnDinos " to your startup line.

You can't, that's on the steam DNS resolution to pick it up in scans. It's far better for unofficial users to give their server lists out via IP or hostname for favorites than rely on the search

I think they have a new policy at Wildcard. They will only release Major updates to unofficial servers. Why?

Have you considered perhaps Kraken's better dinos in the interim? There is a spawn level weighting override as part of the ini config.

Depending on if they have a dedicated team for ark2 or not, splitting resources on a game at end of life doesn't make sense when working development on another package. I run xbox servers through nitrado, all of my players can access every server except the new one, Lost Island, and it tells them could not retrieve address, but only to the xbox players, the ones on pc (crossplay enabled) have no issue at all.
I dont understand why theyre having this issue, anyone able to help me out? They're all excited to play this map but the game wont let em on.

If you have transfer filtering enabled and a cluster ID you won't see any other servers. But, ark character profiles are stored in the same directory as the map saves. So if you switch maps it shouldn't wipe your character. But, that depends on how Nitrado configured their interface to function.

If you are joining a server with mods, download the mod list first before joining

As trying to join a server first creates timeout related issues when trying to download the mods that particular server runs. Ask the server operator for a modlist
