With admin mode (gcm) it does not allow flying. You need to use /fly . Because it's quite uncomfortable. Any option to make it work as before?

That only works for me with fly. Not with gcm. Also with fly... when I stop, I can't fly fast again, and I have to put... walk and then fly... I don't know why I can't fly with gcm.

Slow flying comes after I touch shift.

Works perfectly since years... Don't forget to fly/Walk is in gcm toggled by double whitespace on PC, did you do that?
And also don't forget: when you in gcm and pressing Shift its Not that you going/flying faster, its slower
It must be some configuration of the server, it has been happening to me and another person for a while. Honestly... I thought it was due to some wildcard "update"... since it happened to both of us. But it is very uncomfortable to fly with fly, double tapping the space bar... since when I stop... it no longer reacts to the Double tap the space bar. And the gcm... it doesn't fly directly. To go "fast" again with the double tap... if I stop... I must put the walk... and the fly again... like this continuously. But I don't know what it could be on the server. Thanks for answering
I just double tap the space bar each time. If it gets into slow mode i double tap twice to get over it. I guess it might be more difficult if you have the gel button laptop keyboards thats kinda numb to get quick button touches tho, so thatβs understandable.
Setting up my first cluster for ASE, and I am runnning into a couple of issues. Upon transfering to the other map, I am gettign an Outgoing reliable buffer overflow error that I have to reconnect to the map. The second issue I am experencing with with the Dino Storage mod and not being able to throw out dinos with an error about Wildcard made non-clustered obby transfers remove bytes.
The overflow error is a longstanding message. Here is an explanation someone posted years ago: "So for clients there is a buffer, kind of like memory, where it holds data waiting to be processed by the client. This could be anything that replicates to your client and everything in effect contributes to this buffer. It could be polygons and tri's from rendering, animations, number of engrams learned, items on you (cryopods have the biggest impact since it's holding dino data in a tiny item), dinos, structures (dynamic changing ones have the biggest impact), and every time you open an inventory holding Ark Data than all three tabs of data get replicated to you, and there's more. Everything that your client actually has to process goes towards this. When the buffer limit is reached than "unreliable" events (or those set to not be absolutely mandatory in firing) will cease to fire, but events set as "reliable" have that mandatory flag and if it can't execute than it causes a hard failure. It's hard to define what is set as reliable but we can imagine that events tied to a player connecting would be considered reliable whereas throwing an item on the ground to trigger the respective animation would be unreliable. Thus, when this client data reaches it's limit and you trigger a reliable event... this is how you get: Reliable Outgoing Buffer Overflow.
In short, your client/game is processing too much data. Lowering graphics or learning less engrams or anything to reduce your data to process will help. Also, the faster your storage device (SSDs win here), the faster it can process this data which helps it from overflowing. The faster it processes out, the less chance of it reaching the limit."
wich windows server is compatible with the server files for asa??
used 2012 r2, now installed 2022 and it doesnt start
So my dedicated server runs. It shows but i can't get in. No one can. It gives me the connection failed message. The server did work before this licence stuff. I didnt change anything. But when i saw the server wasnt online and i read that needed to download this licence, i did. After i did that the server was showing again but now we cant join. Help! I tried a lot of different things already
your probably missing some thing like Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and or DirectX

if i remove the mods it boots up, if i put back the mods it wont read the mods and just closes the server window

if it boots without mods, then u got remove them all an recheck, then add one by one, or look in crash files an see if can find the one causing the issue

funny is, i zipped the files that worked on vmware anc copy them to the phisical server
they run fine on vmware, but on the phisical server they wont load the mods
you ziped all the server files to move them ?

maybe the server is unable to unzip them , depends how u zippd them i guess, not really familiar with any that . but the server is telling you it has issue with one or all the mods,
simple solution is to try one and see
just redownload with steamcmd
if u zip in say 7zip an server doesnt have that, it wont recognize, winrar same w.e .
well i actualy installed a fresh one too and did the same thing, soon i put the mod line is wont boot!! MAybe its a win2022 issue?
u shudnt need to do any like that though, just start server with -mods=900062 in the bat
test, no boot, test another mod. to help narrow down issue
server will just download an install the mod when it start , presuming its all happy

Server starts with no mods, so , seems to me like an issue with the mod files , either it cant d/l the correct ones or find them for w.e reason

Nice. Careful cranking settings, small adjustments make huge differences that can make the game boring. Happened to me back in ASE, I was a lot more careful boosting things this go around and I am having a way better time in the game

That's been phased out months ago if that is the case. Take all that info out of your batch file

this is same thing but in asa , ure telling it to work on port 8010 rather than the standard 7777, so u need that port forwarded in firewall inbound/outbound and in the router (what ever between you and internet)

That will change if you do clusters off same comp and want different passwords for each server

All the maps can share a gus.ini and stuff in start bat is overrides for each map

In ASE there was a way to use the same install files and set separate maps and save locations. I hope it is the same on ASA when they open transfers because that's how I'd prefer to run it
VM's are great for compartmentalization but they have their own additional overhead when the only supported platform is windows
ASA can be run in Linux using proton...not as good as native Linux binaries...but works for me
Nice, I might try it out when I get the time. If I have to troubleshoot an issue with a server starting or something after an update, I'd prefer to not have to troubleshoot my server infrastructure on top of the game problems. I really hope they release Linux versions natively soon
My ase cluster ran in docker containers...and creating a cluster just meant setting up a folder to mount on the host and in each docker container

Man I am in the same boat. I didn't know clustering was a thing until everyone was enraged about ASA hosting license requirements at launch breaking the theoretical way that they work

i looked after ase clusters but only through nitrado, so it , kinda did some of the bakground stuff for you , unique cluster ids, etc,

I never played other maps because I didn't want to start over on a new map, clusters and transfers change that, so I can finally be motivated to play more then the island after years lol

And yes i port forwarded everything and added it to the firewall too. The server worked before but just stopped. So i thought i needed to download this licenses. So i need to take those out?

If before 18 November 2023 server owners installed the r2m02.cer certificate file and the server isn't showing up, that certificate must be removed from the system to properly allow the servers to be visible again. To remove the revoked certificate run (Windows + R) certmgr.msc and search for Amazon RSA 2048 M02 in Trusted Root Certification Authorities. The same must be done running certlm.msc. Finally, a system restart may be needed
at the point you were with the weird start bat, if was me, copy the world save and player data (if it has alot peoples stuff on it )

You can look in the windows cert library and remove it if it's there, I had the license on day 1 and never had to remove it though. So I cant offer good advice there.

this will make an asa server run on default port 7777udp (i run the bat file from the server install location xxxxxxxx/shootergame/binaries/win64/shootergame
so i dont need to add all the other file paths to my start bat)
if u want to change the port add -port8010
this makes it run on udp port 8010
- winlivemaxplayers=10 is 10 player slot server

Has anyone else had trouble with the disable cryopod requirements in the gameusersettings.ini? I put just the disable requirements line in by itself and all three settings lines that we were given in the patch notes and my cryopods still say I'm not in range of a cryofridge. Is there something I'm missing? I put it under the server settings heading. Does it need to be under its own heading?

And what would you all suggest for a private cluster? Should we allow player transfers but no items or Dinoβs ? Trying to get some community opinions on it

How fresh is the server? Have you changed many settings and amended the server name?
i changed the server typed it in the search bar just says no sessions found
Sometimes the issue is with the Ark UI itself. Try clicking the βplayer-serverβ button (despite that check being for non-Nitrado servers, mine has appeared there from time to time)
make sure at top to search all, not just pve as they default to pvp

Apparently yes, one of my players is trying to build a skyscraper (don't ask me why) and he has reached the maximum height, which he told me is 50.
well do know that on island theres a kill zone so far up that will insta-kill you and will make no bag appear where you got killed

so im already looking ahead to having an SE server up as well as my island and possibly a Center map. I know I will have to cluster them, but my biggest question is can i limit transfers into SE to say just survivors, and have full transfers into the Island and the Center? Im pretty sure i set that in an .ini but im not 100% sure as i have never done it

i always just leave it up to the players tbh, so leave it all open .personnally i start fresh on a map becuase i like early game , then transfer in later , couple friends do same, others take everything over
they wanted to take all of the dinos and everything over but they understand where im going with it an why. its their first time playing the game, so i want them to get the experience of playing it. plus its more like how they do official releases and transfers with a little modifications.

pve and no friendly fire means theres no way to kill em without mods
If they're claimed and you cannot kill them, yes, it is because friendly fire is turned off.

Hello. So I play in the unofficial Crossplay server with some mods installed.
For some reason I can't place any additional structures from mods. I can't place anything from Dino+ and from Dwarven builders mod.
As I am placing them down - they just revert back into my inventory. Does anyone know why is that happening? Is that the problem with both mods, or is it some issue that Xbox is preventing me from placing them down? Or is it some server settings or mod collision that causes this?
mod conflict, i have had that happen with my server, it ended being a mod that we had that was not crossplay that was preventing the function of a crossplay enabled mod
Yes mod conflict as otter said. What changed that caused this? What mods or settings have changed? That will usually tell you whats wrong or conflicting. Also check the building mod discords to see if the mods updated recently, some updates can create issues with other mods.

They've gone through like 5-6 versions now, without actually putting them as available for unofficial servers. Edit: Of course, as I say this, server updates are available on steamcmd! How fortuitous!

its sad i can run atlas dedi server (with 16 instances for each grid) better than ASA... 1 instnace taking up to 15GB of ram... causing it to shutdown sometimes as the only server machine i can get it to work only has 16gb ram, it wont run on my main server machine with more ram
Okay? ASA is on a new engine, and takes more to run a game server. If it won't run on your main server machine, that has more ram, perhaps you're doing something wrong.

my world settings were reset some how, and my megatherium had 1k melee and when I joined back it had around 600 only. I never messed with stat levels for dinos, what changed?
My friend on PC has his own non-dedicated server. When I join, it makes me spawn and stay near him. Is there a way to stop that ??
You would have to rent/host/play an unofficial/dedicated.
If he did that , would he still be able to host and play all from the same PC ??

Hello all. I got fed up with the server crashes on official so i broke down and bought a nitrado server. I want to use console commands, i'm a PC player, to get my stuff back to the state it was in on the official game i was playing but i can't figure out how. I've tried googling and watched youtube and I'm still stuck. I've turned on the console command option in game and on nitrado general settings, but they're still not working in game. Can anybody walk me throguh it?

Any server owners here who have an issue with controls? Randomly my ps5 people have been showing Xbox controls for their hotbar and to open or imprint or craft the button to press just isnβt there. Was working fine until yesterday.
my main server is technically the oldest machine i have so Im assuming its just missing dlls to make it run but it just wont launch, ive spent an entire month trying to figure it out, so i just put it on my second server machine
So I went back to ark Survival evolved made a cluster through gportal and 80% of the time it says that Fjourdia can't be transferred to even tho it's in the cluster and people can transfer out and I have it so stuff can be brought in does anyone know any idea what could cause this ?

so if i want to up the lvl past 150 i need to uncheck the "max difficulty" box correct? because i changed my difficulty offset and nothing changed
I was stuck looking for the answer to this for a while when I first wanted to use admin commands. You need to use the command enablecheats (admin password)
You can find admin password in nitrado settings, no parenthesis needed
Offset should be 1.0, Maxdifficulty=false, overrideofficialdifficulty is what you set to raise levels. 5 is 150, 10 for 300, 20 for 600.
Go back to PVE and enable friendly fire. Cryo timers are hard coded in PVP.

I am having dramas transferring an ASA server save from one server to another (moving from a VM to Docker). The world save works fine and all the structures and dinos are where they should be. The problem is the character saves aren't linking when players are connecting to the server, I have checked that the .arkprofiles are there. Any tips?
I dont have a fix but can confirm the behavior. Even on the same machine, character association is lost when booting another server instance.
Very interested in why, and how to fix it
Stranger still is my mate hosted the server on his machine first. He sent me the save folder and I set it up on my hardware with no issue at all, now it is broken. Perhaps it was a patch that has broken things.

Does anyone have a possible solution for Nitrado server stuck in a restart loop? Did the ARKTRIBE file attempt. Didn't work. Contacted support, they attempted something and it didn't work. Waiting to hear back. We got it up once but for some reason four of the mods were removed. We took it down to put them back and it's in a loop again. Been going on about 12 hours now.

if replacing 4 mods made it boot loop again, do you not think the most obvious cause is one of those 4 mods?

you can just do override 6 to get 180 max level dinos

The four mods were QoL+, Apocalyse Mod, Pelayori's Cryo Storage and Dino Discovery. Dino Discovery didn't get re-added. Working on removing each one and seeing if the server actually starts.

sometimes it can be a combination of mods, two just conflict, or one had an update an now conflicts,
using mods made by third party devs on an early access game is never great fun.
Even in ase some mods just wudnt play nice together
For sure and that was my initial concern when this happened the other day. The server owner (not me, I'm just helping) said he was going to remove all the mods and see if it booted up without them. It seemed to not, I suppose that's why I assumed it wasn't the mods. I've removed Apoc mod, still rebooting loop. Removed QoL+ still in reboot loop.

if the server is fresh i.e no player data etc on it yet
simple solution is to install another game to it an see if it boots.
not so simple if has stuff on it though as you then need to have ftp access an backup the world save etc to your own pc .
It has a good amount of people/progress on it. I did ftp access earlier and did a back up when I was messing with ARKTRIBE files. So I do have a backup saved on my PC. If this mod removal doesn't work, I guess I will just stop the server and let the owner decide tomorrow how to proceed.
well atleats you know how to backup manually now, its never a bad idea to do that once a week or so, just so if anything happens you dont lose everything, also copy an past both ini files into a notepad file, so you have those too

how are you adding the passive mod cmd, it definetely works , so expect an issue with how the server is told to start
So I tried all the server mods on my SP on Xbox, and everything worked. So I am not sure if it's actually mod Conflict. Our server boss said that maybe some APIs ar doing it.
So now I guess we should pop up the test server and see it from there what it does.

This bat file will not update the "Ark Survival Ascended Dedicated Server" folder but it will install a fresh copy of the server in the Win64 folder
yea i figured that much now , but its just where i originally installed it following guides on internet tbh so it got left there
I think it was an issue with quotes, your path has spaces in it so you need to quote off the path

Force install dir tells steamCMD that it should use that location for whatever you want it to do

It would need to run on the same device for filesystem access. I guess you could manage filesystem stuff over the network if your on the same subnet but that can get hairy

Yeah self-host is the best way, it takes more maintenance/work from your side but it pays off as you own the full machine
On the machines running the servers, as long as your on the same subnet you could technically make some web functions on those machines and make http calls to them vie the bot. You could do that even if your on a different subnet but then you have to worry about encryption and security

Another thing I noticed, foliage is in the bases and growing through buildings. It seems all the previously cleared resource nodes lose their status as well. Have you seen this?

maps will soon start coming out and renting a server per map on nitrado is a waste of money
For a rented server, Linux might not be a good idea as you would also have to stand up window's compatible infrastructure on the VM. ASA does not support Linux right now and the additional software needed might raise the prices on compute. So a windows VM would be ideal. You don't need "Windows Server OS" but a VM with Windows Pro would be fine.
well since its mainly going to be for ark, and maybe a new game coming out, windows might be better then. just gotta check for licence prices
any game server managers already working properly with ASA or is it better to run it yourself?
For CPU and ram, you will want at 6-8 cores if your running multiple maps. My ASA server doesn't use more then 10 gigs of ram, it usually runs between 4-6 gigs. They recommend 16 gigs per server though.

It can be a fairly cheap PC. Any VPS with those kind of specs is going to charge a smooth $100+ per month
1 instance of an ark server will run off 16gb ram an a quad core cpu very well , suprinsingly cheap s/h
Might be cheaper to put that $100 per month in to building a rig
well on hetzner is around 50 on their auctions, I see a lot of people online giving them great reviews for price/quality actually

quad would probably run a couple servers

editing drops without beacon is a pain in the arse, the weights are a pain , atleast for me , i just have to do it in beacon an alter them , keep using its simulator for ase
asa drops , no one is certain yet what they are , but id think if you use an entryweight of 1000 it wud givea chance to drop the element/shards

becuase your adding to the existing supply crate loot table, u need the weights to balance
asa seems to maybe use 1000 as its highest set weight an i think 250 lowest , so with your set weights at 1
they just never can have a chance to spawn

in my example i set them to 5000, i do not know if this will work as havent teste dit, but in theory , your item out weighs everything else , so it will always spawn in the drop, as it heavier than every other item that has a chance to be picked

im having issues with mods either not loading even though i've installed them through the mod list, or they keep installing themselves over and over and over again. and yes ive uninstalled them and reinstalled them... uninstalled and closed out the game and verified all files, reloaded the game and reinstalled the mods... still same thing.. the ones that keep reinstalling themsleves over and over when looking at them in the mod list say invalid. they were fine yesterday. is there any way to fix this??

You probably have a mod mismatch. Best to uninstall them locally and let your server install the server version for you. A day or two it should update and have the same version. @void plover

Been there done that.. they keep wanting to download. cause they don't show installed. that is when i go instead to my mod list and install them again. but it still wants to download. also my big issue is the timeout/client not responding bs that WC still has not fixed.

so here was what i did, uninstallled the ones i cud in game, closed then game ,
opened the file location shootergame/binaries/win64/shootergame
deleted both mods an moduserdata
cleared cache in steam, restarted steam ,
then was all good when i installed the mods i wanted next time
Thats just it - dont install from your list. Just let the game install them. The version from your list is a different version from the server list. Thats the version mismatch. To play on that map, let the server install it, walk away and let it run. Otherwise you are just going in circles. To clarify: remove the local mods and let the server install the version it wants to see.
If you are on pc, do what W1ll is saying. It removes it locally. Then join the map and let it run.
and the problem is i have done that also. still when i have to restart trying to join it shows download each and every time. for some strange reason.
its just the weird way it handles the mismatch now, instead of just not joining, it downloads, newer or older version
Unless you are interrupting the install it wont prompt twice. Let it run.

If it effects all servers you try to join I was thinking it could be your connection. But 30 is decent. Have you tried nuking the game on your pc and redownloading it? And by nuking I mean also deleting the userdata
We have dropped several mods simply cuz they have too much churn. Its not worth the constant issues.
yep been there done that... that didn't help the constant timeouts... ive seen on the bug forums im not the only one with this issue since the game dropped. Only thing i can think of is it is a battle eye bug cause it only happens when battle eye is being used on load up... but the servers i want to join require battle eye. one of those servers is AL's servers.
Also assume you have removed battleye completely? Even manually deleted the "BattlEye" folder in C:\Users\%username%\Appdata\Local?

There is no other server host that I am aware of because of the WC - Nitrado deal. They have exclusive rights for 7 years.
There is other hosting options.. just have to look

Pretty much forced to if you want players.
Go to the server browser, don't search anything, just hit refresh. Sort by players high to low. Nitrado servers are full.
Now check the "Show Player Servers" check box, hit refresh as many times as you want, most servers wont have more then 6 players at best, and there will only be a few that have more then 0 players
The "Exploit" they fixed with that was us self hosters impacting Nitrados money.

you can try joining mine for a minute if you want, I only have the winter wonderland mod on it. "Stoner Island [NA - 3X - Small Tribe]", no password. Might help narrow down if its really a problem with your system or with all the mods

i never thought about AVG and the new updated battle eye having issues together.
Anything dealing with mods requires both the server and the client to have the same versions. The only way to ensure that on both is to delete the mod folders for every mod update and download fresh files as the version control implementation is utter crap. In the most extreme case having a client attempt to connect to a server that has a newer version than the client will cause the server to crash on a stack overflow exception trying to upload it's version to the person who hasn't bothered to update their mod before connecting.
yes we have been though this..(if you had scrolled up) i've done that. i've completely uninstalled the game, got rid of all folders, then reinstalled the game and let the server download their mods... the issue is there are mods that still show out of date even though they show installed and have been updated on my end but when i time out or (kicked by battle eye : client not responding) it then either shows as out of date or invalid. i then uninstall the mod and try to let the server install it again.. same thing. and yes i now have AVG turned off and im still getting kicked by battle eye : client not responding.. or timing out.. the issues with the mod is the game broke it as i was able to get in Aaron's server (before i timed out) right before this latest patch.
Tried reading through the above but didn't catch if the mod folders on the server itself were deleted and the server rebooted to install fresh files on said server

Ah, that may your issue then. I've seen these infinite installation loops on my own servers I self host. Usually takes both locations to resolve
by all of my folders were deleted and game uninstalled ... so either the server has to update it's mod .. or the mod needs to be updated by creator.
but again... you know WC love to break mods.

Anyone getting overspawn issues? My serverβs ping is 20-30 higher than usual as of yesterday with no changes to any settings or additional mods. While mods may be the suspect, running a wild dino wipe knocked the ping back down to its usual amount so thatβs why I figured it was an overspawn issue. The ping rose back up after just an hour. As far as I know there is no way to retrieve the player ID from the EOS_ID through RCON
There used to be a command in ASE called GetPlayerIDForSteamID but it has never worked properly π
If you truly want to retrieve player ID's for external use your best bet is to dive into plugins

RCON can work great if you build an application around it and use the protocol to communicate but it does have its' limitations

That will net you a server
Itβs a gaming laptop though
you can even run it on the same machine as your client if you are only 2 players
Won't matter that much if it's a laptop, just keep it in your same wifi/ethernet network

chances are one the mods is having hissy fit, can sometimes narrow it down to which one from the errors or crash logs
No errors it reaches in the start bat to Loading mods and then last line it says something and Blip all gone, start up vanishes. like when you have a mod in there with not all the numbers.

mods often cause issues around updates, they arent compatible with the server version, or something broke, or.... its not uncommon
look in the server logs see if you can find which one is crashing it

i dont know , make sure to backup the current saves by making a copy of the folder shootergame/savedarks/TheIsland_wp and shud be fine to do what ever , as you will have a copy of everthing you need to reinstall if need be

How do I add a mod to my server? I want to add the super spy glass mod so I can do some breeding, just realized I would have to beat the alpha bosses to get the tek binocular and that still a while away

look at your server go to settings then curse forge mods look for the mods you want click them adn next time the server restarts they will be in

so as it looks disabling the anti-mesh system for ASA is not possible at all.

having the following settings in GUS.ini and Game.ini does not work also

we still see players getting anti-meshed while just farming metal.
most false positiv anti-mesh kills are around the vulcano and on the seafloor
any ideas?
I think theres quite a few settings in .ini and launch args that just straight up do nothing for ASA π (not sure if its intentionally stopped, a bug, or if it just hasn't been implemented yet though)

for damage the default is 0.17

Hi, does someone eventuelly know a code to grey out ingame flying and movement speed leveling and to turn it off? I find codes only for enabling it and bAllowFlyerSpeedLeveling=false doesn't do anything. π

Was anyone able to fix the anti-mesh issue? players on our servers lose constantly stuff due to getting killed by anti-mesh but they are actually not meshing they are just playing the game.. also every action we tried out to disable the anti-mesh system did not work, it would be nice to get any official advice
the volcano is , just awful, its full of weird glitches, sometimes i dont think its even antimesh , just weirds
turn the mesh off helps, i tested it out , it does something, just prehaps isnt doing it in the areas of the map they redid

what ever they did last update has broken the water/irrigation system and server i play on runs like shite

all this did not change anything, and it seems to be very random when it appears
i did it in cmd line for server start and in gus, not sure which one actually did it. i shud test it more i suppose

then when i tested by ghost into the mesh , unghost and it wud throw me out of the mesh but not kill.
yet randomly , still get killed around volcano -that area of the map has serious issues
no killing -shud just pop u out the mesh,
nochecking - shud just disable it completely, issue with that is sometimes can get stuck in the mesh
its not working, i have them both.
the funny thing is, its not happening to everyone it seems only to happen to ppl with EPIC gfx settings and console users like playstation

Hi, i have a weird bug in my single player every time i try to toogle the photo mode it just unpauses my game i tried to disable and enable the photomode but it didn't changed anything does anyone know how could fix it?
Thanks for the reply! Either this code turned off the movement speed leveling but only by the flying dinos or it's EnableFlyerSpeedLevelUp=False, but our characters and non-flying dinos still can level the movement..
Anyone else seeing this in the console "Expensive Rebuild of LevelActors TMap for level PersistentLevel..."? Seems to have come from the recent update that is causing display issues with water/irrigation not being connected. Note the water is still working in testing though.
We are also getting this, but our servers are crashing on start up and we have no idea how to fix it. Our servers are just not starting up at all after recent update.
Do you use Ark API? If so you have to update it and potentially your plugins
We do and we have updated it today. We are going to try and remove the Api and see if that changes anything.

Found my servers did not do the Ark update properly so I forced it now.
Tested with all plugins removed and it still crashed.. waiting on api cache update then ill give you more feedback

yes for sure, i mean you cud use that code, i just dont know how well it work for gacha and griffin together in the same spawn location, with the same weights ,
might just be better off loking for a mods that add griffins and another mod to add gatchas if you arent able to to figure out the coding,

I haven't been successful adding extra Spinos.
Wondering if anyone has actually had success with adding extra spawns of anything, or if the ini entries no longer work for ASA.
Here is the current entry I'm using to test with (maybe I borked it somehow?):

If I do a ListDinos - I don't ever see more than 2 Spinos on the map. (after killing those and a pile of fish)
in the first example you have a decimal point so 0.1 spinos to add? try 1 an it shud add 1 think
My understanding is that .1 translates to 10% (of the individual container limit)
except in this case your trying to just add to the container , not override whats in it not so much overrride the whole entry , so the dino your adding needs a positve percentage i believe .
i might be way off, but thats how i understand, when adding
