That actually worked for me. while in the main menu hit tilde to open the console commands. Type the command. Go into the server list and refresh or search for your server

Thanks, worked for me and other people. Console doesn't show up for me on the main menu but I entered the command on single player and then the server appeared when I went back to the main menu.

I had no problems updating my server and client and connecting to my server. The only issue I saw was upon connecting it said the server was a different version (32.17) than reported in the console on pterodactyl (32.21). My guess is that's a caching issue on their side. No other issues I've found in game.

I did not update everything until a few minutes ago. So I suspect those still having problems will eventually have it fixed for them.

no new update from my perspective (other than the ones posted in #patch-notes ). It's probably an update on their server list code on their server side....but it is a caching issue in the client. No code update needed for dedicated servers or clients...just have to refresh whatever cache they have to get the fix. I don't think there is anything to do to fix it...just wait.

it wasn't working for people initially connecting to unofficial servers....now it is....so something changed on their end with the server list to fix it.

I have a question about renting servers. We have always hosted our own server before on our old console (playing on ps5’s, hosting on ps4) but that doesn’t seem to be possible with ASA and I’ve very hesitant to do this whole server renting thing. We usually play for a few weeks or months and then don’t play again for months or even a year. If we pay for a server for 2 months and then want to stop for 6 months, is there a way to not lose all our progress? Obviously nitrado isn’t just going to save our server data forever. Do we have options?

This whole no player dedicated hosting really makes me question getting the game :/

can't self-host a dedicated session on a PS5. You'd have to rent server hardware to host the dedicated server on. That's is not something I do, as I have my own server in my basement. I know there are others here who could point you to a good server host, bare metal or virtualized.

it was working on the PTR beta before this, with the client and server. Then the patch came out for that today, and it hasnt been working since. I've then switched off PTR and still to no avail

Get a server to host your dedicated server on. You can get one from nitrado all setup (easiest but don't recommend for several reasons), use a spare PC to run the dedicated server, or rent a server in the cloud and install the dedicated server on it.

The server list was (somewhat presumably) majorly reworked to be able to show many more servers at once, it likely now takes a cache of running servers instead of pinging them, so it could take a while to show up

I think MaxTamedDinos is for the whole server also, not necessarily a single tribe limit. I'm not sure if there is a tribe-specific setting

I can help with that since you know your player base. go to battlemetrics* look up your server name. it will have a clipboard and let you copy a link, expl: 98.30.11.192:7777 to use this you go to server list and use tilde button, at bottom type "Open 98.30.11.192:7777" then hit enter, wait just a few moments and the game will load if your server is running atm.

Having an issue connecting to my server with a password present. Without a password I at times can't see it in the browser but I can direct connect via IP address . yes then in the normal search area type the server you are looking for then click through the options unofficial, non-dedicated, then favourites then back to unofficial... that is the steps that works for our password protected server atm. Again this is working for us to display our server no promise it will work for others.

Is anyone else having weird dedicated server issues? My self hosted server has never had issues up into today. Now it keeps disappearing from the server list despite running, my friend is having issues joining manually through the IP. Her character will stand up and then pass out again and she gets a timeout notification

anyone here use beacon? I configured my server and exported it and a window popped up with my .txt files and all the commands I need.

I figured out what to do with the Game.ini and the GameUserSetttings.ini but what about the command line?

anyone have tips for xbox series s players joining modded unofficial servers? players get to joining screen then game crashes. reinstalled/redownloaded everything and cleared cache and its still having issues.

pretty sure that is the startup code for self hosted serves, so if ure on nitrado, u just need the game ini an gui, i export it copy to a note pad file then delete all beacons crap, but u can just use beacon to upload to your server

I see, I actually with fozzy not nitrado so it doesn't have that option, I am just manually copying and pasting the .txt files, that's why I was confused about that command line text, not sure whch .txt file I am supposed to copy that code to
