awesome. i was wondering about the milk mainly. how much milk does a lvl 242 baby need on a server with 2x maturation speed? and how long does the wyvern milk last before it spoils in a babys inventory with preservation salt?

Oooooooo sorry I can't help there. I never used wyvern milk. I just put a stack of raw meat in there inventory until they are juvenile and can eat it from out off the trough. And for imprinting purposes when it says they want wyvern milk, I just cryo them and throw them back out until they want something like to go on a walk or something I have on me.

U don't have to force them. And I don't know about on your server but ours as long as they have food they slowly heal and grow and I have never had a baby die unless I didn't feed it.

So they do use milk or will ask for it when it's time to imprint but like I said u can just put them in a cryo ball and toss them right back out and they will ask for something diff. Each time. And then I just feed raw meat to ALL my Dino baby's no matter what they are. Maybe breed a tester baby if you can to experiment

Wyverns wont eat meat until adult. Your health is high enough on yours so they don’t starve to death

‘Get them a lot’ doesn’t change that they’re still a chance to spawn, with a long time between chances (again excepting ext). And they don’t just revert to an ancient version when they add events, they cook extra stuff into the current version.
And baby wyverns don’t eat meat AT ALL. Including juvenile and adolescent

I "get them alot" like I have a tried and true method and before the update it was 2 to 1 for gigs and they are just gone . so I was just wondering if others were having the same issue.

And the way the spawner works is every 24 hours it checks ‘am I full of gigas?’ If yes, it spawns a giga or carchar. Then it won’t check again for another 24 hours

If it’s full of gigas on that next check 24 hours later, it doesn’t spawn anything

And it’s 24 until it checks again. It is slow and carchar amounts aren’t even factored into it. It only counts gigas

I'm on my own server I just been doing Dino wipes when it's a giga. Does that effect it?

Assuming no gigas existed for every check for 5 days, so assuming it has always been able to spawn something on those very infrequent chances- while it’s definitely unlucky to get only gigas all those times in a row, it’s not outside the realm of possibility, and with many people farming them, someone’s bound to get it and notice

I’m not sure if dinowipes affect the timer actually, but regardless it does help in the sense of clearing room for the spawner to try again

Another factor is whether you can find it- not sure what platform you’re on/methods of finding dinos you have but searching by eye isn’t as reliable as something like Larkator

Finally, you can increase their spawns quite easily by adding them into a new container with a less.. constraining cooldown. Requires having ini access but I could write you some quickly if you tell me what map you’re on and where you want them

Oh, and fwiw: it’s entirely possible that their spawns could be broken, their addition was rather…. unique. Just at this stage, it’s also more feasible that it’s simply bad luck

Can confirm on SP-Island at least they can spawn

Mods that raise dino level caps are outdated and hace stacking issues and you generally shouldn't use them since INI exists to do the same thing

not that i know of, if your using asm it has a built in config for it. if your trying to change a mod recipe you can import the game data to asm and change it that way.

Oh, those are just that way on those servers I believe. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. You can use a whip to wake up some dinos if they are cryosick. But you will have to wait the timer to throw dinos out without them getting sick.

The map itself was originally a mod map, the map creator added a crystal isles dino expansion mod for it as well. The map itself has since become an official map, meaning it's available in the base game. The extension mod (with dinos and such) adds crystal creatures. As far as I know, it isn't buggy.

Yeah i was an admin of a small server for a short time as stated above, It was for summoning those Summoners, Like 10 of them around the map

and the fact they themselves can summon hordes of creatures with those purple glowing projectiles they shoot

and it wasnt the first time, i was revoked and the password was changed, There was another on another map, which was Extinction, Just using the command to startup the titans

I think on unofficial, you are fine. Official nukes over 450/500, and you are already beyond that. I have some direwolves that come in at 675 bred on my server, and no issue with them. Also got others that are level 640, 650, or more with post tame/bred levels, and they are still there. With that said, I have not bread anything to max points. However, you might be limited on tame level ups(assuming that matters since you start with 255 in each at birth).

Mostly just settings. They don't seem to be setting correctly and seem to be weird when going from one map to the other.
Like for example the melee multiplier on tames changes when going from Rah to the Lost Island and visa versa within our cluster. But honestly we seem to be having a hard time with settings in general. Idk if it's because we used beacon the first time or what.

Right now we have tried adjusting the settings and at first they would sit in the claim stage for 7 days. Being out of render, not having an oviraptor/hatchery to bump up the egg boost. Mate boost also only works on the same dino, so rex male and rex female, allo male and allo female, etc, so not all of your dinos are even getting that extra boost unless you have a pair or more of each.

according to a post that complexminded was involved in I don't think that it can be done. says making a cave requires multiple layers and things to be done through the ark editor one of which is placing a "custom block box" over the cave area.

If you look at the caves in the editor you will see they are comprised of a collection of “optimized” meshes custom made for each cave, and I want to know the 3D modeling program the devs use to export those.
The cave “shells” are block boxes that were custom made to fit around each cave to block all light.

Apparently there was some issue between epic and steam due to a patch. So when I updated my comp and went to install Ark on this unit, I ended up getting it on Steam so we are on the same platform. Now it won't pull up his server though he assured me he was on it earlier today after getting the needful updates. Is there an issue with the server search feature finding some servers?

Not sure of any mods but you can add them via editing the game.ini file but if you do not have beacon omni then it will take a while to code it

So i'm adjusting (trying to adjust) the balance on my server and I want to increase slightly the stats per level of my tamed dinos.

I thought it was these lines I would increase the values of but after increasing them rebooting the server resetting my dinos levels and releveling them it doesn't seem to be taking affect. Am I adjusting the wrong lines ? They are in the game.ini file

Correct the tamed dinos even maxed out feel a bit underwhleming vs the modded bosses. So I wanted to tweak them a tiny bit stronger

well all my dinos TE is 100% due to instantame meat from Eternal and then everything is being bred 1st then leveled then evolved (if possible) then leveling the evolution

Will adding those lines retro actively adjust dinos already leveled or would I need to mind wipe them and reapply the levels ?

Retroactive, you cant even mindwipe dinos in vanilla

Well my point is it'd kinda suck to have stat multipliers that then don't work on half your dinos if a mindwipe was a requirement, which doesn't exist for most players
