On xbox and new dino/giga's aren't spawning on all 6 of our clusters maps. Fjordur missing drops/wyverns/desmodus and using portal room drops you in the ocean. Using teleport wheel is working fine though. Have been able to add new dino through beacon successfully though

The Carcharodontosaurus can only be tamed non-violently rather than through the knockout methods. To be able to tame such magnificently strong creature, one must show trust that it is not a food.

Because of its aggressive state, you need to trap the creature to be able to prevent it from running around and attack anything else. Once trapped, kill nearby creatures (they must be killed by you; any other methods will not raise its trust) and drag it close to it. Release the carcass near it and allow it to sniff and take a bite. Upon consumption, a blue HUD bar will appear near it, signalling how much trust it sees you as. Continue to bring carcasses until the HUD is fully filled, and then remove a trap from where its trapped at and mount on it.

During this state, how long it will let you ride on it depends on how long "Friend Buff" is active from Carchardontosaurus; once it runs out, the creature can no longer be ridden. Kill as many creature as you can with it during this time; kills will accumulate the actual taming progress based on the type and level of creatures, and getting hurt will reduce the effectiveness. If you find yourself unable to tame it before the buff runs out, bring it back to the trap and encase it again and bring it more corpses once the taming runs out.

Be wary that it will still try to attack you even with a full Blue HUD until it is tamed.

That should be feasible. Don't forget to move your stuff over. Also, I believe you should be able to save the core game locally so as to play with the same map details on single or non-ded.

Yeah on the bosses, same thing for me. Dumped the boss, all dinos and all tribe mates that were going in the ocean in midgard. Killed everyone else that wasn't going

FJ on my cluster now has no wyverns, no bats, no loot crate or artifact crates and when you spawn do a boss fight. Instead of being in the arena it’s spawns in the middle of Midgard and even has destroyed some peoples bases >.< on pve

This error only happens when i try to join through steam, because i cannot find my server through the actual ARK launcher, but I keep getting the same error saying, "Unable to query server info for invite". Im trying to play ark on a friends steam server with mods and it keeps timing me out through steam. So i try Geforce to play it and its laggy so bad its not funny(worse than xbox) Not to mention it kicks me out and crashes to the main screen of the game. Is it my game or? To anyone having issues on Xbox , with logging on. We have found if you kill the player they can then log on. Or if you log onto a random server then back into yours it fixes the crashing issue when logging.

Yep. Same issue. Some people can join for a few hours the can’t even load in . Others can’t get in at all. None of my admins can get in to red gun people to help

Agree. One of my admins, thankfully, boxed all obs he could and put transmitters at each ob. Or blocked off any spot where our player could spawn a boss lol saving peoples bases as much as he can. I guess you are referring to like spawning under the map or something using the realm teleport?

I noticed many people are having the same issues across the board since the update, but has anyone found a fix or a work around to get back into Ark? I am on unofficial, cant log in, one of two things happen 1. black screen when loading in or 2. get weird white box and dashboard. This is a Series X console, Xbox/crossplay unofficial server, cant even get on my private map with 0 connected. Nothing wrong on Nitrado's side.

I play on series X and my ded server is on my windows. I reinstalled the game and was able to grab my 140 character and transfer from gen 1 to lost island. As soon as I went to sleep, I couldn’t get back in. Created a dummy account, got in and killed myself. Couldn’t get back in. It’s allowing new characters only. Ridiculous. But the server says I am on the game even though my Xbox dashboarded me.

I know WC has to create a patch and go through Microsoft to get it approved but who knows how long this will take

My friend talked to Nitrado which is who she uses and i spoke to Gportal who i use and neither knows whats going on, same as grayman said up top, its letting new players in which sucks cause us who run a server and our staff/admin can't so they can do whatever they want right now, but my admin can get in and some players if they just keep trying, could take 4 tries or 100. I did everything Gportal suggested and ended up reinstalling ark twice, i have a ps5 so one of the things they suggested left me transferring my data from ps4 to ps5 again. When i get home from work ill try again but that can't be a work around if it did work, WC needs to get this fixed ASAP, its not like they working for free

No, we haven't had any issues joining. I did not remove the lines, just in case.
The other oddity is we can no longer craft Fear Evolved items in the cookpot - the recipe is there but the ingredients requirements are gone. We still get the gravestone/scarecrow/pumpkin bits and the colors. Just...all sorts of weird bits since the update.

QQ for admins of Unofficial servers. Do you have applications for bringing on additional admins? What sorts of questions do you ask them to see if they are really admin material?

I dont have an application, i do ask questions but it doesn't actually matter cause they can just lie, i give everyone a chance, but i wait to see how they do for a week and how active they are, but i dont have a problem with demoting them and changing passwords if they dont do what is expected of them, i do tell them 3 times and after that i just demote them, if they cause an issue i ban them, if not i let them stay and play the game like other players

Is there anyway to delete a structure from a savefile whilst the server is closed? We have a corrupted structure from a mod that's causing the server to crash over and over, but I'm not sure how I'd go about removing a specific structure while the server is closed.

Nope, if your on ps5 and go to unofficial pc server its not pc, its ps4, we rent slots from 3rd parties to host our own servers, we need the pc so we can do the codes for the server

it depends on what level you want your wild dinos, offset is left at default 1.0 but override depends on the level you want, i have max 700 on my server

Stats start to reroll after 255 points, so it'd be best to do max OverrideOfficialDifficulty=10 for level 300 dinos (if you're going for higher). Personally, I just use OverrideOfficialDifficulty=6 for max 180.

Hello, I have an unofficial cluster. I have recently discussed with the players of my server and they find that the reaper is not necessarily very "OP" next to a Giga or a Carcharodon outside Aberration.

We would like to raise the max spawn level of Reaper Queen from 150 to 190 like the rock drake / Wyverns eggs.

I found a software that allows me to do this, it's called Beacon. The problem is that when I create this line of code to add to the game.ini it asks me to pay for the software. I can modify everything but not the creatures because they asks me to pay.

I want to know if there was another free software, or a way to do it myself. I don't want to use mods for this.

Beacon is free for everything, except for editing this kind of stuff. Beacon is an automated software, it doesn't invent the code it does it automatically. If you want to pay 15 dollars for 3 lines of code that you can find for free on the official forums, that's up to you.

Well one is the same version as xbox just on PC. The other is an entirely different version

If anyone needs some tips on how to work with the constant error issue - this is what we are instructing our players to do:

IF YOU KEEP EXPERIENCING THE NEW ERROR ISSUE - PLEASE TRY THESE STEPS

Try to get in ANY map, I’d try maps you do not have a character currently on. TRY ALL OF THEM.
Once you GET IN - transfer to the map you need to get on. Try to hit an ob or a near by transmitter.
WHEN TRANSFERRING - it asks you to overwrite your current character in that map - select NO.

You should hopefully get logged into your ORIGINAL body successfully.

Always try to be DEAD before you log off ☠️ . I’m seeing the most success getting back ON a map if you are needing to respawn somewhere vs just waking up in your bed . Eat your own poop. Eat some polymer, whatever works. Make sure to stash all your gear before doing so obviously.

When you look at your servers under Basic Settings you'll see it show a Last Updated date in DD:MM:YYYY format.

You don't have to run the update, G-Portal updates their servers for you to the newest version. It just takes them a little bit after the update gets pushed to public servers.

In the server settings there should be “DifficultyOffset” which should be =1. Then look for “OverrideOfficialDifficulty” and make that =30. This should increase the cap for wild Dinos up to 300. If you are instead looking to increase the level of your tamed and already maxed dinos, you can’t.

I can also give you another example. When you do an OSD on extinction. In the past I could perform several kills simultaneously, this can still be the case today but much more rarely. Generally I kill the dinos 1 by 1, the others recover all their life and the fight drags on and it becomes impossible to manage.

I was talking about reapers that have 47k in the wild, I remember one thing, in the past she could get 1000 hp back by eating dino bodies when I had poorly cleared the area around me.

You're right, this is one of the parameters that can be touched with the activation / deactivation of the parameters for the solo mod.

Well ive been testing it out and queens seemed to not be getting healing at all, while rexes did

1500 rex, 50k HP= 6k per bite
300 rex, 10k HP= 2k per bite

if you go to an obelisk there should be an upload survivor button. you need to upload items/dinos in ark data tho or nothing will be brought with you.

side note: if you are on a non-dedi, make sure the host is the only one that uploads dinos/cryopods. they sometimes have issues.

You would need to check your own server settings then. Wildcard has not changed raising timers and they do not change timers for unofficial servers.

side note: you can't transfer your survivor without using commands on win10 hosted dedicateds as the upload button is removed on servers.

Before you buy I recommend doing additional research. Simply because every provider does things differently

For example some allow you to load up your SP world and make that the server

others do not allow mods

etc etc

For unofficials, codes only activate colors and items while the official event if active. Multipliers do not change.

Event assets are generally removed once the official event ends. On consoles, you can't use mods to just add the assets back in, so you can add some of the assets (skins, costumes, chibi dinos) to drops if you have access to ini files, such as through a rented server.

At the end of the year, assets will be added to the HLNA shop (if they are not there already), so you can purchase items with hexagons if you have access to Genesis 1 or 2.
