If you are interrested in offcial, and you are soloing, id reccomend offical beginner PVP (just the island, 44 level limit, no tek) to just get used to fighing people, then maybe Arkpocolypse to try things out on the full game. people have opinions about ARKpoc, but i like the low investment (wipes every 30 days) fast-fail fast iterative enviroment. you learn what works and what doesnt, quick You migh have to deal with aimbotters and the like, but not entrrneched tribes that have been there for years

also there are a shite ton of you tubers to watch, like HOD, Apex, Vitality...all good to learn from.

i wish and hope but it's really hard to stop cheats in video games to do this dev need best anti chest and strict rules . even valorant game they have very good anti cheat system which don't allow any cheating software file in your pc if any hacking file come in your pc they directly banned you don't matter if you used cheat or not . but still very few people cheats . with hardware base hacks not software hacks . so anti cheat don't take action . but let's hope for good .

Hey I have an idea that requires 3 to 4 players so basically we go on a 0 pop fjordur server on pvp 20x or so, the idea is that we build up and have a 1 hour grace period to see who's the fastest but at the same time you have to rebuild ruins into your base while the other players try and raid/kill you dm if your interested, ps4

spider cave, oil cave, rad tree and alpha tree are the best ones (not in a specific order) although in spider you need to wear a gas mask both when raiding and defending because there is poison gas at the crouch and oil can have 2 or 3 towers outside

Nope. There's 1 'ele cave' for the first 100 (for the rep) which has 2 charge nodes. That's buildable, so whoever spams and builds that up first is the first one to Tek teir. Also the Shard cave (like Gen1 magamasaur pit) is one small entrance and buildable. So e.g. on our server, we have 1 tribe at tek, blocking all of the ele resources. We had to take 300 gachas today to find an Ele Dust gacha and are grinding out element dust to get a rep. But even then, we have no access to shards :/

@wide wren fjordur servers gonna die very fast, it's a one tribe map with this settings. u rush the charge-station cave, then Shard pit, build up some tek turrets and one auto turret at every boss-terminal-cave, tame a rock golem, clone it and wipe the whole server. The patch with "added element to Mini-Bosses" does nothing, u can kill 40 mini bosses with 4-5 people for 1200 element, the guys from the shard-cave gonna farm the same amount in 20 minuts. is there a wildcard employee who has ever tried ark-pvp?

Personally, I would recommend against official PvP to start. It is harsh. Brutal. Crushing. You will be wiped by much stronger people regularly as you try to learn the game.

Its literally absurd to play pvp, i launched this game first 30 minutes of its release. Was extremely buggy, it improved a lot but pvp already had problems with meshers, teamers and other stuff. Not to mention this new map, fjordur is extremely pve based, all caves can be blocked its not playalbe anyway. But seeing hackers on every server i join makes me lose hope of playing it again.

All the caves on island can be blocked too, that's a good thing, it inspires you to either pvp or travel across maps to get the artifacts you need
