For solo, no. Way to open can hit both sides uneven land it is not ideal at all.

If your wanting a good cave could possibly look at a rag then can still get Wyverns barely anyone plays on them. Just a suggestion not knowing why you’d want a scorched.

You guys understand some of the spots ? If your a solo an island is so small it’s trash. No shot at a center they are taken. Extinction is definitely bad. Plus people always go there to scout. Scorched cannot be done solo, valguero has terrible solo locations. Genesis has bad base locations which is why people don’t build on them. A rag is a decent solo base building. Due to the low activity there are many small locations to be at. Island is the absolute worst spot. No element , and those pearls get smashed due to squids. Mana jumping or just swimming turtles beer running. They are way to small. Again, why nobody builds them.

I don’t play on rag but great assumption because now you look like a complete idiot. Coming from the advice you have gave I can assure you the basic knowledge and defense of the game is terrible. It’s a solo base it has all the resources, easy flyers, it’s good for a solo person to play on. Get his footing and move from. An island is absolutely trash he would never even have CP. him taming a frog and making a gas mask etc running through the cave he would get smashed…

Btw *kits and I think we need more things that balance out PVP alittle so newer plays can get involved without needing said mega tribe lines, speaking of crystal wyvers I'm able to defend and support comrades with just a tames 140+ blood so I feel like the net gun just speeds up those fights

@alpine finch yep the deck is to much stacked against the small guy atm i love for example the shadowmane it Saved my ass like already 7 times from a suprise mana attack (cause they take not realy much damage they talke longer to freze and you can dismount him and run off befor he recoveres if nothing else

@gritty dawn depends really. I think console has some advantage. Last i checked there's a few game modes PC doesn't ahve that console does. Like primitive plus(doesn't work on PC) no tame servers, maybe a couple others. Also been a while since I played on xbox but EVERY single pvp server on PC has a discord alliance, even on small tribes where it's not allowed. It might be like that on console now too but wasn't back when I played there

@inner crystal ye ik, i tryharded on P+ when it started (2017), i went alpha for a year and then my tribe left and we came to official servers but every year (december) we go for P+ to troll cause its ez to wipe ppl

But prob we arent going this year cause this bug... We cant build with brick and cant craft battleaxe, so we cant wipe anything.. the only ones that can hold the server r the alphas cause the still got the brick structures and steel things

@vernal flame tank bullets with a tanky dino. Like a stego, trike, gasbag, carbo. People even used to use brontosaurus. Kinda just depends on what you are wanting to raid, you don’t want to soak everything, try to get close with explosives or have a tek rex or something behind you so they can destroy as you soak

I think it's pathetic how meshing is such a large part of the game, 5+ years after release. I don't know why anyone would want to pre-order ARK 2 unless you're playing single player. There's literally no reason to hope WildCard has the ability or the want to fix it.

@sullen walrus team I understand the transfer timer is to prevent duping and that is great , but I think it needs to be reworked. 1. I swear you guys code your AI to scramble to the ob and jump you as soon as timer ends. If I want to kill a terror bird at green ob, I have to shoot it with my shotgun. But then my bullets have a 15 minute timer after I already waited 15 minutes. And if it were to happen again, an ai terror bird on an empty server will have wasted 45 minutes of my valuable time. Certain items shouldn’t be effected by timer . Preferably , you can make the timer only apply to NEW things you pickup instead of getting a timer from removing shotgun cells from your inventory. Don’t know of any dupe methods that involve taking things out of your inventory 😉

That is an absolute nightmare of balancing. If railguns could do that it would be straight up impossible to online raid anything. That is such a stupid idea.

You wouldn't be able to soak anything because you would keep getting dismounted. They would never add a feature that only effects tames that are common with meshing. It would be more effective to improve mesh detection.

Removing drake's off of non ab maps makes more sense. I still believe they would absolutely never add a niche feature that literally only applies to a single or couple dinos.
