The issue is they want quick cash not that they aren’t willing to do it forever. It can be an entire job for someone which yes maybe they don’t want to do that but this is the real problem or why there aren’t long unofficials anymore.
Quick Cash: you have a sever that lasts a month so every month you get 100’s of people buying insanely prices starter packs. Then you offer a (cash prize) which is really like in game cash for the store or other nonsense some servers do pay whole cash prizes but not all of them. And you rinse and repeat easy money glitch.

People stopped caring about the actual quality they produce and just want to maximize production so they can make as much money off you as possible

The tribe that ended up getting third partied recorded it, and basically claimed we came to help the other tribe or we were pvping them at the same time. When we tried to appeal with the devs we told them we had no affiliation with the other tribe in question however they have no way to actually prove that so they upheld the ban

I think it’s just the flip side of the coin, if they can’t prove we did or didn’t do it, however a clip shows us coming in right after a fight or during a fight. Then the lines are blurred. So while we can say we weren’t teaming or allied. There’s no proof either way. It’s a he said she said. And it was pretty early into the release like day 4 or 5. So it probably makes it easier for them to just ban us and wipe their hands clean since we were pretty fresh on the server anyway.

I just ended up making a new account and everything because the ban was bogus but I did have to rebuy the game which was dumb especially being a fan of the game

@manic summit loving astraeos so far the map is stunning. the underwater clever cave looks really good for pvp it has that cunning cave feel from island. I absolutely loved Fjordur and i am looking forward to seeing the new map finished. I adore all your waterfall caves on the map but feel it would be lovely if some of them had tighter entrances just to make the map more appealing for pvp players.(Large entrances and multiple entrances are the biggest red flags when picking a base spot most steer clear from those at all costs) The boss fight looks really cool and i hope it keeps its current element reward on final release. If i could change one thing i would remove one of the two entrances to the wyvern island cave to make it a great pvp base location. if the land entrance was removed leaving the water entrance only it would make the map highly sought after for pvp players to live. many of the large opening and multi entrance caves are very beautiful but could lead to players avoiding the map altogether on pvp servers especially and with only one boss fight players will have limited tekgrams rewards so it could be less sought after for tribes needing to recruit and lead them to choose ragnarok which should be next in line to release going into the the future.

oh and elevating the boss obelisk cave off of the ground level by a bit would make it harder to just get rocket ran so players dont straight up avoid it
Hunter cave looks like a pretty okay cave the enterance is nice and the water access is great wish the enterance tunnel past the waterfall was a little longer before opening up and branching into the other sections but it is still a solid cave it reminds me of center pearl cave alot

Your best bet is to watch a bunch of videos of map ratholes until you find one you like most of them are well known especially the really good ones. However every now and then some lesser known ones come out. The center probably has the best for solo players since there are plenty of ratholes medium to small sized that have easily defendable entrances.

You dont need an hour to wipe a base. It takes more time than this. And if you ever raided something it was probaply some Bob base with Max. 100 turrets. If you got the right base Spot no1 is able to wipe Your base fast. But These base spots are now nearly unwipeable if they are covered by teslas

We need some FPS optimazations. Im running this with a decent PC (Ryzen 5 5600x + 3060ti) and im getting 20 FPS in actual big fights where a lot of stuff is happening. And also in breeder areas it drops down to 40-60 instandly. I know it was marked as "illegal" but give us proper ini back. It makes no difference anyway now that u can ping players they can't hide easily.

• Also note that im playing on basicly the lowest settings, with some console commands to help out with FPS already. Yet it is still by far the worst FPS on the game marked

@vapid abyss you realise with the current meta of the game that ratholes are a neccesary requirement in this game. With a single patch you will have most likely just lost at-least 1000 active players, if not more.

You cannot release maps with only a few viable base locations or really inconsistent base spots on the same map such as Centre having Snow North as ridiculously strong and every other cave being the worlds fastest speed wipe.

Scorched is the only balanced map due to the increase in decent base locations through the addition of EXTRA caves that did not exist in ASE.

More smaller base spots need to be added as the current meta of smalls is that one tribe exists per server on 75% of all smalltribe servers and usually they are in the best cave on that map and all others are rendered basically useless.

With the vast amount of megatribes/alliances on Smalltribes and account sharing ridiculousness, ratholes where the ONLY viable way to play the game unless you have a full active 6man or in many cases most tribes have 10+ members sharing the 6 slots in a tribe.

All the ratholes where now raidable with the cryopod changes and as such did not need to be patched out completely.

I agree ratholes with stretch mesh, access to open mesh, buggy textures, etc should be patched out however a gap in a rock that leads to a larger opening with no strange mesh textures should be left, or don't be lazy and just patch spots out like the Main rathole near Portal on Abberation with the slightly invisible drop down entrance; this spot should have been modified to make the opening larger and a natural ramp in and out added so that carbos can walk in and out of the spot: Internally of that spot it's just like a smaller 1x cave.

You should also as a community manager, INFORM people of upcoming base spot patches so that they have time to move, anyone currently built in any of these spots now faces a potential ban/wipe if reported.

Where is a smaller tribe going to move on abb? Every server is full of ESP cheaters, you cannot hide. They cannot build on a cliffplat because unless you have a crazy amount of spam on walls around your cliff, you will just get built into when you're offline. Ratholes are the only viable spot for a smaller tribe as you cannot just "hide". On console only, they can hide but people will scout rather persistently if they are using UFO bot to see whos on server and realise a different tribe lives on server.

Stop relying on gene scanner and make them spawn by clearing out all the dinos that shares the same spawns as the gigas/carchas in extinction. Raasclark has dropped an informative video on it.

Abberation as a map now has just been completely ruined, there is 1 viable base spot on that map which is Shadowcave which is raidable. Glowtail is an actual speedwipe and now they have made all surface entrances 6x damage, they too are just getting pyro/mana dashed. Sad times when the devs do not even understand their own game.

You cannot build on a cliffplat/tree unless you have the whole area around you fully spammed off to prevent being "built into". You cannot hide because of the insane amount of ESP and location cheats/bots. Ratholes even the playing field and allow a smaller tribe to build in a strong spot at the EXPENSE of space meaning their progression is much slower as they do not have a dedicated area within their main base to breed (which all caves do).
