Well man, unfortunately for you, you are on ASA and stuck with Alpha Drag. It's a flat arena, their isn't really any cheese strat. The closest you will get is what I said, a bunch of high health rexs and a deinoychus to bleed it while it kills the rexs

But just because you want some easy solo method doesn't make one just exist, unfortunately, their isn't really a solo cheese for Island Drag

Yah unfortunately Dragon is a flat arena so no safe spot to shoot it down. If you want Tek suit but it won't get you trans/pool, Beta Rockwell is super easy

@vapid abyss - is there any intention to fix beds? I’m staggered to see the issue has been logged for over a year. If you place a bed even slightly under an overhanging cliff it doesn’t let you spawn. This limits base locations severely and ruins the game experience, kills PVP bases - I died and couldn’t spawn in any bed to get back to tames so essentially starting fresh as base location isn’t easily accessible by foot. This issue should be pretty high on the list of fixes not left to go on for over a year! 🤯

@plush rapids first issue I’ve had with armadoggo…… the “here pup” cooldown is 18 days…… have the devs changed something? issue came out of the blue and I’ve tried multiple things like turning off companion and back on…. This game is literally the buggiest game I’ve ever played and majority are simple fixes ! Died to mesh earlier can’t spawn in beds even though there not in cave just under overhanging cliff, can’t call dog to me as it’s on a 18day timer… I’m just getting fed up of taking 2steps forward 1 back constantly on this game. A game with soo much potential is being ruined by problems that are easily fixed…. Not sure I can keep doing this 😂😂😂

I’m done with this game close to uninstalling which is a shame because the game had soo much to offer, I died due to clipping the side of a rock and got mesh insta killed, I had made a makeshift base slightly under a overhanging cliff but not a cave or anything - can’t spawn in bed and flyers and stopped in base…base only accessible or easily accessible by flyer so I’m stuck starting fresh to tame a flyer to go back….I think oh well I’ll report this bug … can’t do it on here it directs you to a SHODDY website that isn’t even mobile compatible it’s honestly a joke the bed issue has been ongoing for over a year, are WC intentionally killing the game because at this rate I can’t see many lasting the long haul like this when there are other games out there

That’s what small tribes is… obviously playing anything less than 6 on smalls isn’t ideal. The point of smalls was so any tribes 1-6 players can have a better experience. And when they first released them that was true. Smalls was super popping up until genesis release basically. By the time genesis had came out the cheating had just peaked, with aimbotting,esping ruining the game for smaller tribes than the bigger tribes. By the time gen 2 came out most of the people who played 1-3 man tribes stopped playing and you just had a bunch of larger 6 man tribes with like 1-2 cheaters at least in them

Exactly that’s why they need to make one for smaller groups because even the “6” man groups are really 10 deep they’re just teamed up and on different servers so they can get a lot more done than a solo-trio can

you have to kill the corrupted gigas since the cac and gigas and corrupted have the same spawn but the chance is way higher for a corrupted giga

They do spawn but it seems to be very rare, I'm assuming that corrupted gigas might be taking up the same spawn slots? They shouldn't but it wouldn't surprise me with ark. We've had both spawn on our server but very rarely.

My server is filled with them as well bottin in main tribe on main character then admitting in chat they “only” use it for when they get botted. But I know how cheats work and I know you don’t just get aimbot. And 90% of the time those people who only aimbot cheaters are using speedhacks and the likes all the time. So moral of the story is likely not since they are so bold about it

Battle eye used to do the job for the most part. The issue is the demand is so high for cheats that they developers of the cheats constantly make work around for their aimbot etc to work. Similar to how ark releases updates they just update their cheats.

And there are more people making the cheats nowadays as well so competition is high to make money. So better cheats come out.

Which is also why Win10 servers had to be shut down. Because it’s so easy to code the cheats on there people could offer garbage aimbot and other stuff for free 💀

Add the option of Pvp Players to Apply to be a Free Admin, to counter the cheaters. The anti cheat does nothing and clearly it's handled through admins. Allow players who really want to and are approved admin the game they care about.

That's not true for all of them, Not everyone is a black market agent trying to make a quick buck, 100% of them are breaking the rules, RMT will still exist regardless of cheats.

I didnt come here to argue, The only way you can stop people from breaking rules is to enforce the rules. If they don't have enough people to enforce the rules or make it too difficult to report the problems then it's a problem at Wildcard.

I think you need to stop taking the dog out with you and do exactly what I do, I have never lost a dog yet. Every time you come back to within render distance and land beside dog it loses all the command and you have to repeat. I do the same sequence before I leave dog and when I come back

So it turns out when this bug occurs the dog digs underground and you lose whistle, the dog still appears on dino list and can be tracked to see where it is underground. I logged in this morning and flew to dog and it was just sitting there as “companion” but I did not have whistle - stopped companion and re added and whistle appeared all back to normal. My thought is that a server reset caused this as server was no longer visible on my favourite list. When you see dog on dino list select “POI” on map so you can find where it is.

So pvp fridgeless cryos. Where are they? Even Raasclark knew this was A if not thee biggest thing pvp players want and brought it up to jeremy in extra life. Pelayoris cryo mod is at 7.5 million downloads (most popular mod on ASA for unofficial. Why?). when ase was at it's peak why were the few prim plus (cryoless) servers never capped? There is a very obvious conclusion that asa fridge cryos are hated by more players, while fridgeless is loved by more players. If there is no plans or desire to implement it, please just say so concisely without maybes possibles or potentials so ase mains can stop holding out hope for official ASA pvp.@topaz basalt . If we are all for trying new things however and monitoring live ops changes, then throw it in at least. 2 weeks trial of fridgeless cryos, announce it, implement it and see how it's received by players and pvp contributors alike.

They don't need to be paid, remove the ability to spawn items and have their actions logged... It's the easiest cheapest solution... Just want an update on the anti-cheat situation..

So 1 you can already report players through the ticket system. No it is not “in game” but nevertheless you can report them and get them banned.
2 there will be be generally speaking no improvements to the anticheat as it is not as simply as “oh upgrade the anticheat” it’s a very complex system designed to catch cheaters.
3 at the current moment wildcard is working on fixing the problems with extinction release. Finishing ragnarok and lost ark and the Unreal Engine 5.5 update for the game. Only then after all these projects are off there plate will they put a focus on anticheat.

It’s not all snail it’s a combination of money, resources and a rushed game design. For example meshing can’t really be fixed because they can’t make the mesh single layer as the game was not built to have single layer mesh. Or cheating for example, I have been in a cheating discord. Exploits/mod menu gets patched all the time and the coders of the cheats need to constantly update and fix them. As a result it’s just a game of cat and mouse of the developers of cheats updating the cheat to bypass the game code and the developers trying to constantly patch those exploits.

Well the alternative would be to allow cryos everywhere except near foundations and only at that point should fridges be needed to get range on enemy foundies. Pocket gigs annoying. But they added the dreadmare anyway and pyromane may aswell be a cryod tame as well, coincidentally both paywalled (create the problem, sell the solution). Also people commonly carrying pocket gigs is a great way for startups to make a raft or bat turret play for getting a piece of up to date lines.

That being said tho, why is free throwing tames into your base op? We have crabs,, we have mantis we have thylos we have chain turrets we have grapple weight and as defenders we have home advantage. Just pick everything and kill. The only way old cryos make your base easier to raid is if the majority of your turrets are not far enough away from the choke point, using their full range or if you have no internals (which you should for mesh anyway). Grapple glitch doesn't even exist anymore so i don't understand why defending is so hard apparently now when we have floating turrets for free, no at risk supports required. Caves have never been stronger. And ratholes? Apparently they made a million cave sized ones, better chokes, no cave damage, can abuse the tesla turrets... They are way stronger than ase base spots anyway.

You need to catch the people while they are taming it or flying it to your base. You kill rider then throw out a giga or mana breath it. Generally speaking once killed rider off titan becomes pretty useless and easy to kill just don’t get picked while biting or breathing it. And obviously this is going to take a while either way because there’s not many muts on extinction yet for either of those tames.
If it’s already at your base all you can do is use a giga or carcha to bite it really.

I mean games already dying rapidly. And extinction actually breathed some life back into the game this time around however, because support was so poor at launch it immediately fell right back off. If they don’t get it under control soon. I doubt there will be many concurrent players still playing ASA. On top of that I’m sure someone will complain about this but ASE should have been fully taken offline solely based on the fact they still maintain half of arks player base. I understand buying the same game again yada yada isn’t desired but without closing ASE they never even gave ASA a chance to shine anyway.

Fully closing ASE would have the opposite effect, you'd get a few people that would move over begrudgingly, but most would just move to something else. Plus, ASE was given for free on both Epic and Steam a few years back, and a few that play it only do because it was free. Its why i play console only. Sure aimbotters generally are easy to outplay because they can't play the game, and burning speedhackers sends them to the shadow realm but theres only so much before it's boring. Its as you say like 70 percent, and more if you include the 'smarter' ones that keep their esp on the down low. Every pvp game has it's cheaters, but not as many on them as ark as well as the stakes being much higher than if you get killed by a flying boat in warzone (which is at least funny). On console only sure there is a few hardware cheaters, but the capabilities are nowhere as bad as pc cheats and they are as rare as cheaters should be. At the end of the day in pvp you will ini anyway to see better and consoles run fine when you use them.

I think the best solution to cryos on pvp servers is to keep cryos unable to deploy within enemy foundation range and make the cryos normal to deploy without a cryfridge nearby

Worry about just building a thin wall to stop carbos and other small Dino’s from rushing the turrets. You’ll place a few turrets around and on the wall itself but for the most part you should be placing the turrets on the terrain (walls and ceiling) this is also in general the most effective way to stop rocket running.
