they need to fix mesh holes in caves, nerf blueprints, fix rocket glitch and a couple of the mesh methods and then wipe small tribes because these problems are ruining the game, especially on servers with sweats willing to cheat and ruin the game already. Also we need an ini nerf on officials, I understand unofficial and pve, but you should not be able to turn off foliage or trees on a pvp server. If your computer can't handle that, it's unfortunate but it will be more unfortunate when 80% of population leaves because 10,000 hr. nerds are playing roblox

@dusky minnow They are fixing some exploits now, the issue with pvp was how hard it was for new players, the new building system is 1000x more approachable and most of the changes (Generators, Irrigation, etc..) all help make it easier for new players. There are millions of people who want to play pvp but cant, just look at how popular Kishko is, it's an untapped gold mine of players, it is worth Wildcards investment to make pvp better imo

The devs changed caves and changed the whole meta, I feel like ASA was more aimed at pvp players than ASE. They could't fix exploits because of the old engine and Snail was forcing them to pump content. ASA was marketed as a refined version of ark and small tribes servers have been overcapped since day 1. I just hope the devs fix the biggest issues quickly

Caves are only slightly nerfed, once we get to maps that have like the actual good caves things might change. They said minimal changes to cave after all. So likely only choke point changes. Not like actual things that will matter that much once fully built.

Gen two just needs minor changes for it to be balanced, like spawn in tek suit ok, but don’t let us use it without ele so we actually have to farm idk. And other changes like just nerfing element farm etc. Tek Stryder is a mute point because at the end of the day that’s the point and story of Ark you keep getting more and more advanced as maps come out. So like obviously when the final map comes out there’s gonna be OP farming tames like tek stryder because essentially almost everyone should be tek tier by that stage of the game. I will say obviously playing late game tek PvP is obviously not everyone favorite it’s the early to mid game PvP that’s actually fun. But it’s just inevitable power creep.

The only issue with late game maps is easy element but again inevitable power creep the story of ark is that they get to Gen 2 where all that op stuff is in the first place.

Nah you’re valid unfortunately if you don’t start when server starts and you can’t secure a good base starting late almost no point in playing because 9/10 times you’ll just get raided by bigger tribes over and over again starting up. It’s pretty unfair to people starting up. Which is why future maps with ratholes are gonna be even more meta now that you can clip into the mesh better.

Yea seems legitimate. Think about why every drop is Ascendant and capped out, connect the dots yourself. These servers are temporary to use people as test rats imo. People are waking up at 5-6 am with ptsd sounds of rockets going off in their bases at this point. 💥

I saw this before as well , good thing this seems to be confirmed as you seen it as well. Thats very sad I highly advise people who are playing pvp to just spam this discord. At this point what are any of us doing, they patch CLONING CHAMBERS but yet refuse to patch shooting a rocket at turrets, lol. This is absolutely true at this point and were all suckers for believing in them to fix this. I was responded to by @vapid abyss yesterday evening saying that they were working on it. CLEARLY were worried about dino movements and mouse inputs, as opposed to players spending hours upon hours grinding a base to unfairly be destroyed by an exploit they know is there and seems to be designed to watch players fail so they can use us as an excuse/test dummy to test their release. ALL these servers probably will be wiped or be put as a legacy server, all because they refuse to acknowledge an elementary level coding error. It’s a dog eat dog world. If people are cheating and wiping bases the only defence is to cheat as well. That is why servers just need to be wiped. They do not have active admins policing servers so when your waiting days/weeks you can’t afford to not cheat.

I dont think there's any spot with 'lot' of pearl like in ASE, but with an angler, the amount of pearl you get is really decent and you could basically cap yourself if you take the time anyway

You can still sink foundations. Use a fence foundation, then a pillar on the that foundation. The foundation will now snap, and sink like in ASE.
