I had to wait 10 minutes for slow mode. Anyways, according to the FAQ they are intending to release the content that was with the map, so that's why no cryopods. So if it was a feature that was added in Genesis/Extinction, it won't be in the game until Genesis/Extinction map.

And we don't know anything about official servers yet, someone said single player only right now. So maybe client hosted games? But we have no idea to be honest.

The most likely scenario is that they will release console specific clusters, pc specific clusters, and then when crossplay is ready they will launch new crossplay clusters. So there should be no PC advantage or anything like that. The ones that release for PC without crossplay are very likely to stay PC only. It wouldn't make sense otherwise.
