Eh I don’t have cords unfortunately but I can describe to you the location since there are two entrances.

By a fairly large lake surrounded by mountains to the west there’s pink crystals sticking out by a hole, go down there and you are in the cave.

The other is walking down the path from world border to the city itself that massive valley there, stick to the left. You should eventually come across a couple city pillars with torch sconces that lead into the same cave as well. In fact, it is warm down there and it is a reliable way to bypass the mountain entirely. There are black pearls down there sometimes, but the main event are insects lol I know it’s not super helpful but I’m not on to check exact cords

For people struggling with outposts I heavily suggest paying attention to what “type” of mission it is before attempting it

Moltenworks almost always spawns a flamethrower boss with heavy armor, so maybe try rock golems if you can transfer them over? Since none exist normally on the map but to my knowledge they are immune to most kinds of fire.

Marksman holds have a sniper boss that places bear traps runs in a straight line backwards and snipes you and your dino (unclear if they shoot off the mount) so weirdly enough try having several dinos and several targets since he’ll teleport away if you get close. There’s a big ass laser sight that beams through the snow so follow that to find him.

For defense missions let’s be realistic for a sec ossidons are hell to tame let alone perfectly so I’d recommend a good group of theris or maybe a direbear with a solid saddle. And for the love of everything abuse the shit out of the turrets that you can spawn. Especially if they are broken and float over the ground abuse that shit, the auto turrets are the best they are cheap and easy and help defend a lot in gamma and such. There are two unique bosses I’ve found for those missions so far, a rex and a bronto. The bronto is bullshit but there’s a weak point you can destroy, you HAVE to focus the weak point not just slamming it with damage you won’t win. Hit the puffy pink legs I believe and break the growths off, then you can kill it normally. Rex tbh is just a rex I think?? A big one in fairness but nothing special to my knowledge. But yeah general tip is to sit with a tanky tame to take aggro and have others just wipe up the rest.

The attack missions there are generators you can hit to disable the turrets, big glowing orange capsules. Shoot those first standard PvP stuff basically. Again, I highly recommend having a soaker of sorts.

Then otherwise try working in a circle kinda just to break all the walls and turrets and shit so they all get turned off. Each generator is usually along the rim of the base behind the walls and they are fairly exposed so pick those off and the rest is (sort of) simple if you have enough creatures. Another thing if you DO beat one of these, thralls have cryo timers separate from your main character. So before starting the mission have you and your thralls throw out your army it’ll make shit way easier.

Find a veilwyn if you don’t have one already and breed the heck out of them since the map likes to swallow them whole but it’s nice to have one and they’ll be patching the exp soon for consoles.

Otherwise snow owl or desmo would be better for exploration sake and helping you scout for supplies and the more sneaky tames in the wild. Plus they ain’t bad to tame, desmo especially with the med station just get your mammoth or something and drain blood packs from it (but watch its hp)

Otherwise maybe get something to accent your yuty, depending if you are official or unofficial rates and such at this point with a solid trap could just get spinos or Rexes if you are good at taming. But if ya want more comfortable stuff maybe carnos for bleed?

Or just try and get a cryosaur, they are good for taming things apparently

Paste isn’t an issue tbh, we know of a cave that has huge bug spawns so we take arge Megatheriums into the cave and always leave with about 17-20k Chitin and after 30mins over half the Dinos/bugs respawn. We gamed all night went into the cave about 5-6 Times took us each cave run about 10mins and we farmed close to 130k chitin now we sell the Paste for other things, we also have got tons of oil bugs and Elec from the lamps near the city bridge so if u know where to look the map has everything u need just u have to craft more than other maps. That’s what I like cus it makes the game a little harder

Not really.. basically at 50 stacks they send Batman to hunt YOU down. From my understanding he leaves your shit alone but specifically attacks you.

The only way to kill him is on foot, the neophytes are heavily resistant to tames of all kinds so close combat is your only option unless you are handy with guns. My only suggestion there would be a fabricated crossbow with metal arrows on spread, maybe a good sword and shield, and probably the most effective being a shotgun. But if you kill revenants and do the defense outposts that debuff goes down. And in fairness I haven’t actually seen the Batman come yet even at 50 stacks so who knows if he’s bugged or not. Granted you have to go out of your way to get to 50 stacks, walking around the city will make thralls hostile if you have any stacks but they won’t like- send a team after you

Well im still logged in :p and I come with a PSA to all lost colony grinders going for solywns and malwyns. When you get 100% adventure dont evolve it until you spend all skill points. I used a ascended vulpite on one with 59 points, and all points were gone (level was also reduced by 1 ?) Tried again with another but spent his 58 points first, this one came out at 280. Now just to test with a 0 imprint one I use a primitive vulpite too. For a base level 210 leveled to 270 using a primitive vulpite for evolution dropped it to a lvl 70 and severely altered its stats. Hope this was helpful to someone, happy holidays!

Found good tec for the marksman outposts. Use an ossidon’s ice crystals and just tank the bullets, it’ll whittle the hp down overtime. Not quickly but it’s something. The guy won’t teleport all over the place but obviously it’s faster to chase him but if anyone’s having trouble there ya go

also if its flat land you can run a large circle back to the queen and crouch and E at it. Pike the bees if you want. Have med brews to regain HP. It is one of the tames your hating till you get it. And find it easy AF

i have a question ive set the amount of outpost and stuff to 25 in nitrado settings but they still havent spawned after scouring the map, i have a few mods but may there be another reason they arent spawning?

How do you get access to use the teleporter on pve?

Just did it and seems like the cryo don't work anymore kinda need shoulder pets to sacrifice or occasionally take a tribe Member and get him sacrifice himself

You need to do a boss fight to unlock the teleporter (Manticore, Dragon or Nunatak)

Hey hey, I am trying to do a full story playthrough of ark and just got done with the island. Im trying to find all the explorer notes and piece together the story on my own but I'm sort of lost. I think its really cool that there's now cutscenes. The thing that stopped me from doing this a few years ago is that scorched didn't have an ascension cutscene, but I heard it does now? Welcome. I'm built there so I have personally seen one but they are very rare. I even checked RaasClark's video and he only has 2 or 3 spawns marked and he even marked them red so that makes me believe they are just rare period on this map for some reason.

Megatheriums spawn all across the far left side of the map, hug the border on the left and you'll find em

start at 99-10 and go up to 15-10
