This was done in some of axeman’s tribe wars seasons, where people had restrictions on what could be tamed based on their tribe

I think in general though it’s not viable. Unless it’s a skill tree thing where you can “spec” into taming or training certain creatures classes within a tribe

To clarify I want a training mechanic that replaces imprints. Something that requires you to actually take your maturing babies out and do things with them to increase their capabilities. If you want it for combat you take it out hunting, the more you do the better the end result will be. If it’s for harvesting you take it out for activities that fit. Then the tames final stats and maybe skills if that’s gonna be a thing would be a reflection of what you did during that period.

You can already connect keyboard and mouse on the Xbox consoles, that's not really the problem.
The real problem is it's easier to use hacks on PC. Console players don't like to play competitive games with pc players for that reason.

Depending on how long production of ARK-2 has been going on for, it could either be another year or two away, or by this year.
