As for base defense, as long as there is a Dino that heals and a Dino to soak, turrets need to do 1k dps per second lol. I have soaked walls with capped heavies and tek turrets using a tamed stego and a snow owl. It just takes ages. A Dino or npc defense has the issue of being very very cheesable. Just bring 50 rexes, or sit on a ledge shooting arrows

I feel like Flyers require some sort of nerf in ark 2, In ark 1 they don't have any threats while airborne other than like some specific creatures like wyverns, which you can outspeed by leveling movement speed (if the server has it enabled of course). And where they land to regain stamina. I suggest there should be more aerial pve threats to flyers.

I was fucking around in the dev-kit with the finale scene for Genesis-2, and found some stuff out with a friend.

So firstly, if the model of Arat is somewhat accurate to what the planet is and they don't later on change it, then Arat is actually mostly land.
It seems like it's a good 60% of land, with hundreds of mini-continents instead of just a few handful big ass landmasses like Earth does.
Secondly (again, if it stays true) the filename for the main planet Arat is orbiting around is actually nicknamed a 'gas-giant'
So Arat is orbiting a gas-giant, which is where the Genesis-ship actually was heading towards when it blew up.

So, if they don't change it to like an ocean planet or such in ARK-2, then the Genesis-ship is flat out 'fucked'

Oh, and another thing about the Arat model in the Genesis-2 ending.
Both polar-sides where completely frozen over.
Like Earth got some big polar continents, but the ones on Arat where fucking HUGE.

There's a terminal on the Genesis-ship that connected directly to Arat-Prime, which Aberration was near.
If that terminal crashed on Arat, and is still functional (or Santiago could repair it for a later plot-line to return to Earth) then a Aberration-2 isn't unlikely.

And while it's most likely that the ARK's where able to reach Aberration to wipe the element from it. They could also easily write it that the ARK's are intended to wipe their own local regions, and so no ARK could reach Aberration.
Which could lead to element evolving the life-forms on Earth akin to Gacha's, and have sub-species of humans.

It's pretty far out reaching. But at thing point, anything can go with the writing.

Hell, it's a strategy to do so.
