And before you go "oh well Wildcard didn't say it themselves so that's just speculative", that doesn't mean it isn't an official announcement of the potential release window, Microsoft undoubtedly talked with them about whether or not they thought release was possible within the year, or else they simply wouldn't have been in the showcase, I would think. I get the “why” they didn’t show Ark 2. They really want that Switch thing for kids to work and be successful. I don’t blame them. Showcasing that and nothing else makes sense. You don’t want your new game to be overshadowed by another.

Also, and I’m not sure what the latest is regarding that code that was used for another game. Maybe, the reason they can’t talk about Ark 2, is because they’re still fighting over the code and legal is telling them not to talk about it yet.
