I’m hopeful about that description. But, like I have said days ago, I’m not sure once we finish those events, the “prize” will be a tamed creature. My fear is the prize for those events will be like on Ark 1, just a random high quality loot.

I saw some fan art a while ago where the colony ship systems respawn Rockwell but since he is now in a regular non-corrupted human body he is able to recognize that all the stuff he did after getting mutated was wrong. He still killed a bunch of people on Scorched and did some ethically questionable experiments of his own free will, but the whole killing most of the tek tribe and trying to take over the colony ship was the element hive mind influencing his actions. Basically still capable of extreme acts, but able to recognize that he shouldn't inject himself with element again.

The issue is making it a 'good' first-person.

We may just get a reverse of ARK-1's development with it.
Third-person is the only camera view on launch, but later down the line they might add first-person.

It's entirely possible that glowtails also existed on the Eden ring but just weren't in the part we get to play on in Gen 2. I just thought of a genius idea for ark 2: What if you could run at full speed even when encumbered at the cost of extra stamina? I imagine that there could be a slider to determine how fast you want to go and how much stamina consumption there would be. That's just one guys opinion though.
