I only have two concerns.
Vin-Diesel redoing Santiago's character. And this is just a rumor i've heard, and it could complete bullshit. But apparently one of the co-directors are from Captain Marvel, and we all know how they ended up. Whether you liked it or not.

hmmm, i disagree about the last part. if accuracy makes content exclusive, or convoluted, or contain plotholes because of a shift in mediums, there's absolutely a value in sacrificing it. but on the other hand, inaccurate content is more alienating, confusing, and traitorous for those who already loved the original.

there are definitely reasonable arguments for both sides; it's not black and white.

okay, may be a tad out of bounds here because i don't know the lore but that doesn't sound like a bad motivation, especially when you consider how many unique creatures there are on the ark- imagine actually seeing that much new fauna in real life, documenting it, realising the ecosystem is under an unseen influence, and finally seeing the bizarre obelisks and overseer arena.

curiosity isn't the best motivator, especially when you consider the amount of effort it takes to escape [citation needed] but it would be better in my opinion than a very common trope of media since not all relationships completely define and manipulate both members in them.

Why is the animated series so unrealistic to the game,like we have a para doing a pin attack on a raptor and a tailwip,we have a raptor and a guy in full metal killed by 1 arrow,we also seem to have no fall damage as the fall in the trailer will most likely kill you.the only realistic thing when compared to the game is that para didnt take fall damage when dismounted

Helena is honestly my least liked character. Due to her seeming like a Mary-sue in the notes, and she had no motivation other then "hey, i'm here too"
Compared to characters like Santiago, Mei-Yin, Diana, Rockwell, etc. She had the least amount of actual story to her.

Helena doesnt quite go super saiyan but she does power up, and similarly I really like how they keep raising the power levels in Dragon Ball lol.

There are other options than live action and there are different levels of how a cartoon can look like. I am also not big on the art style used for the Animated.. but only my taste and some other shows have set very high scales now when it comes to appealing art styles and animations (at least for me).

i mean corporations trying to use lgbtq rep as a marketing tool will probably never be a one sided or boilerplate issue: each case is different, and there are multiple factors to consider.

personally, i don't see an argument for being upset with a company for including representation, even if it is in poor taste (i.e., as a marketing tool), as long as it isn't done maliciously (e.g. to make fun of lgbtq people) because if you're vindictive it's hard to argue that you're not pushing lgbtq characters out of media; there would be no negative response to it if the character were straight if the negative response comes from this idea of false representation.
edit: this was phrased really poorly, and i apologize. what i meant to say was that as long as a change doesn't make something less progressive, it shouldn't be treated that way- if it's really just for inclusivity points, then imo it's more reasonable to ignore it rather than dislike it

also, as far as i know, wildcard didn't post "alright, we gave you a guy that likes a guy, now never speak of this again" or "look at how inclusive we are! now you better buy ark 2" the day gen2 dropped (hyperbolic but they didn't comment on it at all, afaik) so there's no reason to think they did do it solely for inclusivity points, they could just be progressive in general.

There is nothing wrong with an LGBTQ character posing an antagonistic role. There is no issue with an LGBTQ character dying.

If your argument is "poor representation", the same can be said for characters that are not LGBTQ. It's almost as if people with this argument are getting offended in a way.

Why are the feelings of an LGBTQ person viewing media above mine? Or mine above theirs? What makes an LGBTQ person special? Just because you like someone of the same gender or someone that transitioned doesn't make you special and doesn't put the opinions of any other party other the other's, if that makes sense.

okay, your position makes sense (as far as i can see, it's just worded poorly) if media has enough lgbtq representation that a single case does not make a significant impact on a person's perception of the community and that media having an established universe that contains people who happen to be lgbtq as a personality trait, even if they don't have the spotlight, is equally good at representing the community as media that heavily features at least one lgbtq character, say as the protagonist. if both of those things are true? yes, there's no reason that representation being restricted away from main characters should be a problem.

however, if there's so little lgbtq media representation that it means individual characters are responsible for displaying the entire community accurately, then there's clearly a problem with having them die or be antagonists. and if a mandate of representation is that nowhere is lacking in it, then there have to be protagonists, too.

now, if you believe both of those things are true, i don't have evidence against that personally. but if you don't, you should reconsider.

It would not be an issue when there was more m/m characters in media when there are villains, depressive ones etc. (never saw Yonki as villain). I am pretty aware homosexual people can be all that as well but when there finally is a homosexual male and he has to be the depressive one that kills himself of all the chars, that bothers me. Why has it to have the homosexual male that has to get killed of when you have a variety of other chars ? That feels like a slap in the face for all homosexual/bi people. When there was way more m/m represetaion with the same varity of chars like for the straight ones or lesbians (which have gotten very popular lately) it would be not an issue but allways getting represented as the depressive, bad , weak or bad one is not.

Nobody said that.. but it is like what we had in movies a long time ago that it allways was the person of color that died. Now it is often the homosexual man that dies or has issues, etc.. and now it is again the homosexual man that us the one that has issues and kills himself into the nirvana.. it is not nice when you get represented most the time as the ones dying or being depressive and having tons of issues.. and you can't compare it to straight representation in media/movies/games.
And I don't know much happy topic m/m series, movies or games were a homosexual man is represented as normal person.. cause often the representation then is taken in the comedian part were it is that stereotypical homosexual that represent maybe 5% of homosexual men.
